Noda-sensei sends me a signal from the other side of his cold, silver-rimmed glasses.
"This will appear on the test. Remember this?"
But Sensei, is that really the signal you wish to send me?
Teacher and pupil, teacher and alumni, upper-and underclassmen, classmates who were childhood friends; drawn here are various love affairs born and growing inside the schoolhouse.
No, but I mean seriously. How can simple stories like these be this good? Her art alone is to die for (I honestly can't get enough of it), but she can take stories that have been told hundreds of times in BL and make them interesting. And I love her sense of humor.
Me gustó, está bueno que sea una compilación de historias que se entrelazan entre sí, igual a veces resulta medio confuso hasta que lo enganchas. Muy lindo.
Collection of short stories that all take place at schools (the same school?). My favorites are the title story and related two-part story at the end (though that could be because those are the student/teacher stories...). Not sure I would name this one of the top titles of the year, but I liked it enough to want to check out the author's other manga.
I thought I had this book and found that I didn't so I went and bought the 2 volumes. The two volumes are collections of love stories in a high school revolving around 2 teachers and their lovers. As one could except from Kusama-sensei, the stories are sensitive, feels real and raw.
Sakae Kusama's narration style is quite different from the stereotypical BL stories. Not my favorite by any stretch, makes me want to see what the mangaka could achieve with a full length work
