Isaku Natsume (native name: 夏目イサク) is a Japanese author of Boys' Love manga. Aside from the manga published with publishing companies, she also runs two Dōjin circles: 139 and Chekera. List of all her works (detailed) : http://infbot.cocolog-nifty.com/blog/...
OMG what an haphazard flow... the plot was all over the place. I think this one is on the older-side of Isaku Natsume's work ((googled it; and it came out in either 2005 or 2007, so yeah definitely old)).
Work rivals to lovers. But also they knew each other when they were younger? But mc forgot? They are cute tho. And the author def likes a certain dynamic between their mcs.
I never wanted this to end!! It was a simple plot but brilliantly executed; all the characters were likeable and the plot wasn’t overly complicated or unnecessarily long. Just perfect in every way

Cute series! The relationship development is uneven but the story is good and sweet in places. The mangaka doesn't draw kissing scenes well but other than that the art is pretty good! Sex scenes are PG13, nothing really graphic though they are shown in bed together often. Great English translation/scanlation!
Shimano is a hardworking and attractive man who works at his father's company. Kurosawa, his manager, also works there, but they don’t get along. Their relationship starts with annoyance but undeniably evolves into jealousy and romance, revealing a compelling and passionate connection.
The MCs really need to learn to communicate better, sometimes it felt like important scenes were left out and the relationship development felt rushed. Other than that it is a cute story.
Buenas buenas, hello there! En fin, quick read, super good, super cute and I really really recommend it!!! Ps.
Haaha! Pretty cute. So Shimano is the heir to his father's company & he has like a perfect life. Good looks, money, everything. His superior is Kurokawa - who he apparently hates cuz he's always nagging at him, covering his mistakes & looknig out for him & annoying him. But then one day, it's late & Shimano can't get a taxi home so he goes over to Kurokawa's to stay the night & finds out that Kurokawa is really lonely - he lives alone - his ex-wife left him & stuff. So he cleans up Kurokawa's place & they end up sleeping on the same bed & Shimano gets used as Kurokawa's pillow. They start to like each other & their relationship grows, but they do have to hide it from other people at work & everything. There's the story about how Kurokawa came to work in Shimano's dad's company - his dad wanted to hire him b/c he was good socially & great with his own clients & customers at the bar. So he joined in the end & met Shimano a long time ago. So now , they're older & everything. then it's shimano's birthday & kurokawa gets back from his business trip & gets him flowers which is really sweet. Then at the end, they both move into a new, nice apartment in a good neighbourhood. :D The story was funny :)

If this wasn’t the first title I read by Natsume, then it’s one of the first and I am so glad that I was finally able to finish it. It was great, of course. I enjoyed the development of the relationship and how they were both rather hopeless for each other. And that look of complete helpless wanting that Natsume’s uke gets when whatever is happening now isn’t enough and they may just cry, like bawl, if they aren’t penetrated soon–that look just kills me. Shimano wore it well. I lost count of how many times I read the first volume over the years.
Ah! And the extra in Tight Rope! It has one of the cutest scenes EVER! It’s right up there with the scene in the Border extra where Yamato, all sleepy-like, plods over at Will’s beckoning, sits on his lap, and dozes off while Will continues playing chess.
Shimano (tsundere-ish company president's son) has always been able to get whatever he wants, but finds himself annoyed because he doesn't like his gorilla of a boss, Kurokawa...until he ends up cleaning Kurokawa's apartment and being used as Kurokawa's pillow (which apparently somehow equals LOVE! in Shimano's head). I can't say enough good stuff about this manga--everything about it is love, the story, the characters, the humor, right down to Kurokawa's ex-wife (who is awesome). I think my only gripe with the series is that half of the second volume is about an unrelated couple. Boo! More Shimano and Kurokawa! (Which we get, actually, in Tightrope.)
