1999: A Novella

Rate this book
What if the year 1999 repeated... forever?

Will’s first time through 1999 was a pretty good year. And the second time was even better. But as the year continues to repeat, and as the world realizes that they might be trapped in 1999 forever, Earth’s civilizations start to unravel.

What is causing the time loop? Why is the world stuck in 1999? Is it the Y2K bug? Or something else entirely?

When Will discovers the shocking truth causing the global disaster—and his own unwitting role in it—he will be asked to give up everything in order to save the world and get humanity back on track to the Year 2000.

Fans of time travel and “time loop” stories will love Hanberg’s “sleek and fast” style in this mind-bending novella.

Set primarily in Washington, DC. 73 pp. Interesting plot--Groundhog Day (the movie), but for 1 year and impacting the whole world. I hated the reason for the time loop, which is why only 3 stars. I did enjoy the resolution.

I have been a big fan of time loop stories and movies and this novella is just perfect. It’s the realistic time loop story, and it’s the first one I’ve read that the time loop isn’t just happening to one person and the rest of the world is oblivious to it. It was such a good read, and that ending!! Wow. What a perfect cap to my May list.

A short and sweet story about a global groundhog day situation of repeating an entire year. Love the concept. Love this does not drag too long. A Little surprise.
