Sittin' Pretty With A Boss For New Years
For Kaprice Fields, life hasn’t always been fair to her. She’s had her share of setbacks, each one worse than the previous one. However, she always managed to keep her head above water. She hits a few bumps in the road which causes her to be down on her luck once again.
Mehki isn’t a stranger to the struggle. However, he never let the demons of his past get him down. He is now a successful businessman. After Kaprice comes to work for him, he starts to feel things for her. When he learns of her story, he jumps at the opportunity to help her.

OKAY MS. CHERICE…NOW YOU KNOW…
Most holiday books this season were nothing short of awful..They made no sense and served no hope..You gave us Faith..Hope and then topped it off with Love..We are living in times were it is hard to breathe, literally...Kaprice didn’t have to reduce herself to give the Landlord sexual favors to provide for her daughter.. Mehki stood and lived on his “Grown Man Issh”..He preserved, showing you don’t have to “stay where you start”..Once you know better feet first and just do better..Monte was the laugh needed to balance the story out…Ms. Laura was truly Kaprice,s “Ram in the Bush”…Now with that being said..No you did not hit us with these characters in a Novella...We are going to need some lead up to that New Years Wedding..We need to be on a journey with Mehki...We need more…

Great Read
I felt sorry For Kaprice. She was struggling to take care of her daughter and herself with the bare minimum. Losing one job and dealing with a creepy and heartless ass landlord caused her to break down but Mehki giving her a job seems to make her situation better. Mehki was also battling a few demons and the Holidays wasn't a happy time for him but Kaprice definitely caught his eye. I was glad that he went after her. The both of them deserves happiness. Monte was a damn mess. I couldn't do anything but laugh at his ignorant ass. He didn't give a damn about what came out of his mouth.

God Neve Gives Us More Than We Can Take
Cherice, thank you for such a sweet read. Thank you for allowing Kaprice to go through her trials without losing herself, Mekhi and Monte were good guys. Monte was a fool though😅 Ms. Laura was Kaprice angel, such a good example of a strong black mother that takes pride in all she does. Mekhl, gave Kaprice a chance and it ended up changing both their lives for the better.
If possible I would love to see what could happen between Monte and Nadine. Great Read 🤗🤗🤗

Awww, what a glow up💕
This was my first read by Queen Cherice Harris and I enjoyed this New Year insta-love story.
Kaprice was going through trying to provide for herself and her daughter after losing her child's father. It seemed no matter how hard she tried to get ahead and stay positive about her situation, something else seemed to knock her down. Mehki is her ex-employer who realizes he's in love with her, goes searching for her and finds out she had ties to his Auntie. They brightened each others Christmas and New Year💕

Nice Ready
I really enjoyed this story Kaprice was really going through a tough time meeting and working for Mekhi turned out to be a blessing for her and her daughter Kalani. That damn Monte was crazy as hell he had me laughing at the goofy things he kept saying out of his mouth. I was happy to see that Ms Laura eventually moved to be near Kaprice and Mekhi and that they all ended up getting their happy ending.

A Great Read!
This book was everything I really enjoyed reading I laughed from the beginning to the end. Monte was too funny 😂 I laughed so much at him. Ms. Laura was God sent to Kaprice and Kalani. Kaprice had it hard but like they say there's a light at the end of the tunnel. Nadine was a true friend to Kaprice. Ms. Sterling, her husband, and Leon punk ass got their karma. I'm happy that Mehki and Kaprice got together, it would be nice hearing from all of them again.

I really enjoyed this book from beginning to end. Mehki was the man I loved the way he Loved not only Kaprice but also her daughter. That Monte was a straight fool I would love to read more about him and I hope he get with Nadine I believe that's what he need. Awesome job keep up the great work.

Family
I enjoyed this story. I was so happy that these characters that practically grew cup alone found each other and made a family. Poor Monte had laughing through the whole story. I would love to see a spinoff with him in it. He needs to find someone and stop driving people crazy. Great story Cherice Harris. I'm looking forward to reading more of your books.

Great story!! Kaprice had a really rough time but she hung in there for her daughter. She was attracted to Mekhi from the very beginning but I am glad they took the time and really let things simmer. Mekhi came in like a knight and became the man Caprice could depend on. It was cute how well Mekhi and his brother took to Caprice’s daughter. I’ll definitely read more from this author.

Beautiful Story
This was indeed a beautiful story. A real story of a struggling mother who overcame every obstacle thrown her way. Yes there were moments she wantes to throw in the towel but what mother doesn't sometimes. She did what she had to for her daughter. The definition of a mother's love. Love everything about this book. ❤️

I enjoyed this read!!! Karine was walking around with the world on her shoulders, she had no one besides Ms Laura to look out for her and her baby... that is until Mekhi came along and helped her become better!!! Loves it!!!

Aww this was a sweet story. I loved it. Kaprice and Mekhi had a hard life but didn’t let it get them all the way down. Of course Kaprice felt the world on her shoulders until Mekhi changed things for her. Now Monte was a fool.

Another great NYE story
Kaprice definitely kept hope alive even with going through so much in a short amount of time. Mehki brother had me rolling with how goofy he was and brought some needed comedic relief at times. Another great NYE story!!
