The explosive book that tells bold and uncomfortable truths about the Democratic party—using historical fact, current events, and Biblical principles to build to a shocking conclusion.
Vince Ellison is America’s most fearless truth teller. Agree or disagree with his thesis, open-minded readers must grapple with the persuasive power of his arguments, his mastery of facts, and his passionate love for mankind and our Creator.
As a young man, Ellison began his career in the belly of the beast—as a prison guard working in the worst cellblock imaginable—the one housing mass murderers, rapists, child molesters, and others who would never be released, and whose crimes would never be redeemed in this world.
Vince Ellison saw the face of evil up close. He knows it like few of us ever could.
And it was to his dismay and sadness that he has seen that same evil later in life. This time, not in the faces of hardened, incarcerated criminals. But rather in the eyes of the leaders of the Democratic party.
In this stunningly persuasive work, Vince marshals his own experience and couples it with a learned and original analysis to conclude that the leaders of America’s “progressive” party aren’t just wrong on their policy stances—they are deliberately and intently destructive.
Ellison painstakingly dismantles the twenty-five lies underlying Democratic policies and arguments, and provides readers with the tools they need to understand and refute these myths and deceptions. Finally, Ellison implores his fellow Americans and Christians to open their eyes to the damage being done to the nation’s heart and soul in the name of progressivism.
Vince Everett Ellison has a Manichaean view of reality. On the one hand, there is the sump of absolute evil, i.e., the Democrat Party. On the other hand, is Jesus Christ and the freedom offered by Jesus Christ. Most everything else is being fought over by these two powers.
Not just anyone can describe the Democrat Party as evil in this day and age, but Ellison has a unique standing to do so granted by the Democrat Party, i.e., he is an African-American. He is also not afraid to say obvious truths out loud and without apology. It has always been amazing to me - but never more so until I was listening to this book - that out of the great cleansing of culture from any vestige of "racism" the Democrat Party has never been touched. This is weird because the Democrat Party is the only institution that remains from slavery, much less Jim Crow and lynching days. But no one brings up the idea of eradicating an institution that ought to bear more opprobrium that Confederate statues, as long as we are handing out opprobrium.
To say no one, I am excluding Ellison, to whom this idea has definitely occurred. Ellison extends the paradox of the Democrats being passed over by the angel of racist cleansing of society by pointing out that all the anti-racist riots of 2020 occurred in Democrat-controlled areas and that everywhere where there has been Democrat control, blacks have not only not been socially advanced but have regressed. Democrat-controlled schools turn out students with lower test scores. Democrat-controlled policies have turned out more illegitimacy and fewer marriages. Ellison points out that the Civil Rights era was essentially a failure.
From listening to this book, it was not clear to me if Ellison was arguing African-Americans should segregate themselves. He certainly is opposed to forced integration, largely because of the implication of African-American inferiority, which Ellison vehemently condemns. Ellison seems to have a strong belief that African-Americans should preserve African-American uniqueness and culture. At times, it sounded like he was advocating an apartness to do so. I'm conflicted. I would hope for a broad integration of everyone into a common culture, but, on the other hand, certainly, there is much value in preserving diversity. If we look at the Catholic ethnics of America, it seems that we have achieved integration at the expense of diversity. The trick is always balancing the two interest.
Ellison writes like a preacher. This is actually quite effective. There is no uncertainty in Ellison's call for the involvement of Christian principles in social policy. At times, his calls for freedom and condemnation of Democrat evil has the feel of a revival. I also liked his quotation of authorities.
Ellison supported his book with facts and anecdotes. One of Ellison's points that I want to check out is his claim that Republicans conspired with Democrats to create majority-minority districts. This deal had the obvious advantage of guaranteeing certain seats to Democrats, while at the same time taking Democrat voters out of Republican areas. Republicans capped off this deal by never supporting any candidates in these districts, which has had the effect of abandoning African-American voters to the Democrats for decades. This explains the monolithic black vote for Democrats.
Another point that I think is suspicious is Ellison's claim that African-Americans have been voting for Democrats since Reconstruction. He blames African-American politicians and voters for not preventing white former Confederates from retaking government, after all, he points out, these whites retook the southern state governments while they were still outlawed from voting.
I'm going to have check that claim out.
Obviously, this will not be a book for everyone. If you want nuance, then this is not your book. On the other hand, if you want to hear the voice of someone presenting a perspective that has largely been extinguished.
Well laid out, well written, and well presented! Vince Everett Ellison tells you what he is planning to do. Then he tells you with a well laid argument based upon factual evidences available to all. Afterward, he tells you what he told you. A proper methodology to a great presentation. These 25 Lies should be the undoing of the democratic party, as a whole, the unfortunate truth is that people are so indoctrinated to such foolishness, rewritten histories, BLM & CRT nonsensical propaganda, and the redefined lies that have changed the course of this country and nation, as a whole. It truly makes you want to weep for your nation, your country, your family and society! This should be required reading and the basis of study for social studies. Well worth the time to read and reference!
This book was TERRIBLE. I thought I'd read a book from another point of view, but honestly this was pure elitist propaganda. Now admittedly, conservatives don't have a monopoly on elitism but I don't think there is a political creature more elitist than a black American conservative bellman. He goes on about how evil The Confederacy and Jim Crow was and then goes on to explain how they weren't American constructs but Democratic Party constructs which is correct on the surface but fails to explain why the "Heritage not Hate" Stars and Bars waving don't tear down my monument children of the Confederacy tend to be GOP. Further, he paints the Democratic Party as Godless, anti-American, Nazi demons. Do not. I say again - do not waste your time on this book.
I learned so much of what I had been taught was incorrect! This book is eye opening. I have never highlighted another book, besides The Holy Bible, more than this one. Looking forward to more from Mr. Ellison. Trying to find a copy of his first release.
He does not mince words in this book which will either lead people to love this book or hate it. What he is saying needs to be heard, unfortunately, I don't think the people who need to hear it will listen. Hopefully, in time, black Americans will realize their true power in their voice and will free themselves from the Democrat plantation. I took off 1 star for two reasons. While I agree with his 25 points, sometimes the way in which he proves his points or connects the dots is very disjointed. Secondly, this book had many repetitive moments. Perhaps that was done on purpose but it made it tiring at times to get through.
Sadly, I guess the people who will read this book are the ones who need it the least. The target audience is so far gone it will take a literal miracle to change their minds about the Democrat plantation.
Mr. Ellison is a man of decided opinions. I enjoyed reading his "25 Lies." However, as a gay man I was disturbed on some of his views on what he calls "LGBTQ." This gay man does not identify with any of that, other than being a gay man, period. I realize that most of the gay community identify as liberal; I am not one of them. In fact, Donald Trump garnered around 28% of the gay vote in 2020. I don't care to be lump in with the other sob sisters of any movement. However, Mr. Ellison is historically accurate in his description of the Black Community and its long held ties to the Democrat Party. Whether agree or disagree with Mr. Ellison, he writes quite convincingly, and backs his opinions with facts.
Amazing read, filled with all manner of data, and a uniquely gritty perspective. Ellison does not hold back on the ills or the cures to the ongoing malaise with which American blacks contend.
Any writer who says it was Democrats that fought for slavery and Republicans who ended it - a fact in name only that has to willfully ignore hundreds of other facts - deserves to be neither read nor published.
This was a candid look at how the democrat party has left and is still leaving people of Color behind. Courage is a word I will use to describe this book.
I found this book enlightening, A fairly fast read, to the point, yet deep! The one party system needs to be stopped. This book presents a road map to it.
I enjoyed the book. I believe he makes some very good points. I'm not sure I followed all of his "prove" statements. Overall I agreed with his point of view.
AN UNBALANCED RANT CHARGING THAT ‘THE DEMOCRAT PARTY IS EVIL’
Is even Candace Owens too ‘tame’ a ‘Black Conservative’ for you? Do you feel that Burgess Owens is too hesitant to ‘tell it like it IS?’ (And let’s not even MENTION Thomas Sowell…!) Well, if so, Vince Everett Ellison may be just the thing for you… If you’re looking for ‘rational arguments,’ and carefully-constructed and thoughtful critiques of the liberal and progressive wings of the Democratic Party, look elsewhere. But if you seek a ‘Black Conservative’ book that may express outright some things you have hidden deep in your heart, you may like this book… But for others of us, Ellison’s rhetoric is simply ‘overkill,’ and quickly loses any effectiveness it might have had...
He wrote in the Introduction to this 2022 book (after recounting some of his experiences as a former Correctional Officer), “I learned how to recognize evil in real time… It devastated me when I saw this evil in the people … and politics that I admired. The absence of a father’s discipline. The assault on Christianity and Christian education… had created a generation of monsters. But to what end? Power.… I had begun to keep company with a group’s leadership… I saw the same expressions of cruelty, avarice, and pride in their eyes. It was the leadership of the Democrat Party…
“Democrats have created a culture of death… I am one of the very few who recognize this evil and am willing to confront it… I will not remain silent in the presence of evil. Therefore, I say with clarity and absolution: ‘The Democrat Party leadership is EVIL!’ MY goal is to warn and provide you with the information to deliver you from this evil.” (Pg. 5-7)
He asserts, “I wrote this book because I love everyone, which means that I LOVE DEMOCRATS… Even if they hate me, I will love them… I also love my country. Therefore, I must warn it about the evil plans of the Democrat Party.” (Pg. 13) Later, he adds, “This book should be considered a memorandum of purpose, favoring the beginning of a new abolitionist movement…” (Pg. 23)
He outlines, “In this book, I will prove five things: 1. The Democrat Party is currently the oldest, cruelest, and most perpetually evil organization in the world… 2. The Democrat Party is proficient in its evil… because of their unmatched ability to lie… 3. The Democrat Party leadership… are … willful agents of evil... 4. Democrats must lie because most of their supporters have goodwill and are unaware of their leadership’s evil intent… 5. … the Democrats have been defeated and will be defeated again… It may take time.” (Pg. 17-18)
He explains, “I am not a Republican. I do not speak for their party. I am an independent Christian Conservative, and I speak for myself. I am sure individual Republicans do lie. Nevertheless, I have yet to find anything in the Republican Party platform advocating for the murder of children, the suppression of religious expression, the violation of parental authority, the legalization of drugs, the trapping of poor children in dangerous and dysfunctional reeducation camps (public schools), the disarming of free people, the destruction of the family, or the confiscation of private property.” (Pg. 29)
He summarizes, “The Civil Rights Movement was an immoral product of communism… Sadly, most Black Americans are still so brainwashed [that] instead of lamenting these relics as failures, they revere them as heroes.” (Pg. 149)
He suggests, “Everything about Christianity is an anathema to the Democrat Party. The Democrat Party is primarily a party of grievance… and nonaccountability… Democrats believe that government should provide your children with a secular Hollywood education.” (Pg. 169)
He states, “every Black person I’ve ever known has privately told me that integration did terrible harm to the Black community. Very few will admit this publicly.” (Pg. 205)
He argues, “For over 2,000 years… the structure of the traditional GOD-head family… was necessary for humankind’s survival and prosperity…This assumption has been … generally dismissed by the Democrat Party. Why does a woman need a husband? Why do children need a father? Why do children need a mother? Why do parents need to be married? Why can’t people have multiple marriages? ‘You don’t’ has been the answer the Democrats have given to the world since the 1960s… the statistics show that America is dying just as the Democrats planned.” (Pg. 259-260)
He concludes, “what do I do to a house that taught … that GOD has cursed them? … What do I do to stop it? I BLOW IT UP!” (Pg. 275)
I listened to this one, read by the author, and believe me, it was akin to a passionate, pulpit-pounding sermon on the necessary abhorance of evil and of the devil's prevalent influence. Ellison makes some very powerful points, and backs each proof up with plentiful resources. (Since I listened to this one, it was difficult to keep decent track of each source mentioned, and as a result, there are topics that I would like to pursue and research further). Ellison is a self-described independent Christian conservative, so obviously, this designation is going to overlay each argument. As a Christian myself, I appreciated his frequent recitation of scriptural passages, his emulation of Christlike principles and his observations of Satanesque behaviors perverting our society. The decline in God-fearing people has not been favorable for us as a country, as it has distorted the boundaries between right and wrong, has dissolved the courteous way in which we treat each other, and has eliminated the respect and reverence for the Founders of the United States of America. The one quote that has adhered itself to my spiritual conscience and that I have since eagerly shared with others is as follows: "When your politics don't match your religion, you do not have a religion; you have a hobby." It is through this lens that I observed all that Ellison decries with his views of how far-left policies are destroying America. Here are a couple of points that have both opened my eyes and truly caused me to think. (1) Ellison bemoans the general negative influence of cowardice on Black men - robbing them of opportunities to be faithful husbands, honorable fathers and positive examples in their communities. This leads to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual castration of these men, causing them to turn to other avenues for self appreciation. (2) His personal experience with the ramifications following Brown vs. Education. Ellison reports on the undoing of education for all students, as well as encouraging additional violence, by forcing this integration. He remembers his father attending kindergarten with him throughout the first week of school after the passing of Brown vs Education in order to physically protect his son from impending danger. He recalls how all of the white students sat at the back of the bus while all of the black students remained at the front, and none of the parents gave this action a second thought. He recalls how much cleaner and better operated the all-Black school was in his community and how well dressed and qualified the teaching staff was when compared to the integrated schools that followed. I appreciate personal experiences like this because it helps open up situations to me to which my own background cannot relate. It was fascinating to listen to Ellison's harrowing experiences as a prison guard working with the Alpha block, which contained the most violent, hardened, despicable criminals housed there. It was there that he experienced true, unrepentant evil that stayed with him for the rest of his life. It would be interesting to read more about this time in his life, what interactions he had with these criminals, what caused them to repeat such heinous crimes and if there truly are people who are unredeemable.
1) How the Democrat party can be compared to Judge Claude Frollo and how the Black Community can be compared to Quasimodo.
2) How the Democrat party is using Critical Race Theory to destroy white children.
3) How the Democrats have created a culture of death.
4) Not only Black people but White people are far more ignorant than I thought.
5) How Democrats have supported slavery, promoted lynching, instigated civil war, and commit infanticide through abortion.
6) How Republican White men passed the thirteenth (13th) Amendment ending slavery, the Fourteenth (14th) Amendment providing equal protection and due process, the Fifteenth (15th) Amendment providing the vote to Black men, and the Nineteenth Amendment allowing the vote for all women with very little Democrat support.
7) The Nazis and other racist organizations learned racism, murder, and extra-constitutionality from the Democrat Party. 8) Democrat Party reeducation camps are called public schools, colleges and universities. 9) Democrat Party death camps are called housing projects and Planned Parenthood.
10) The Nuremberg Laws strip German Jews of their citizenship rights. The Nuremberg Laws were almost identical to Jim Crow Laws and Black Codes.
11) … racism is not the problem. Black male cowardice is the problem. 12) The cowardly behavior amongst most Black men is a remnant of slavery and the Democrat Party plantation system. 13) Black men in gangs are cowards because they will fight and kill one another while too scared to fight the real enemy, the Democrats. They would rather join them then to defeat them. 14) Blacks will surrender their rights to government in exchange for so called security. 15) Blacks beg for white acceptance. 16) The most important aspect of life is self-reliance and independence. Don’t waste your time or your money on 25 Lies if you are a Democrat, a feminist, a Liberal, a Progressive or anyone who embraces oppressing other human beings, exploiting other human beings, one who embraces victimhood, is closed-minded, can’t embrace new information, etc.
Nothing I read in 25 Lies made me uncomfortable. 25 Lies will be an eye-opener to many and a confirmation to those who already knew much of what was written. Some will walk away with hurt feelings because they will recognize the reflection they see looking back at them from the mirror.
I thought 25 Lies was written for religious people who don’t stand in religion.
Author Ellison wrote the cure to racism is 1) Become trained and proficient in a needed skill or occupation. 2) Whether it is Christian, Muslim, Jew, or so on, whatever your religion, practice it to the hilt. Companion Books>
Social Justice Fallacies by Thomas Sowell
Crime Inc. by Vince Everett Ellison The Iron Triangle : Inside the Liberal Democrat Plan to Use Race to Divide Christians and America in their Quest for Power and How We Can Defeat Them by Vince Everett Ellison
There is an old adage “birds of a feather, flock together” and in this book Ellison proves that statement. I love the truth. I don’t care where it comes from, how uncomfortable it is, or what demands it makes, if it is true, I love it. Ellison also loves the truth. Although he is male and I am female, he is black and I am white, we are “birds of a feather”. In today’s world of political correctness and virtue signaling I found his honesty, plain speaking, and courageous attitude refreshing and inspiring. The greatest truth he delivered was in the prologue where he stated “before evil can be defeated, it must first be confronted, defined, and called by its name.” I would add another step to that, it must be recognized. The voices of modern society seek to fill our heads and hearts with the pablum of illusions, delusions, and outright lies. Instead of philosophers that are critical thinkers and decision makers, our education system has created parrots who mimic the acceptable jargon of meaningless rhetoric and embrace everything without question or thought. All men are not brothers, and there are those who seek destruction of their fellow man to aggrandize themselves. They take delight in holding others down instead of lifting them up. Nothing is bigger than they are. The 25 lies cited are backed up by examples, quotes, and history, “by their fruits ye shall know them.” Most readers will scoff and ridicule his declarations, some will be so uncomfortable with some of his statements that they will assassinate his character and downgrade his virtues, and some will despise the message and they will seek to “kill” the messenger, but regardless of what they do, the truth is still the truth. This is a book written for all men and women, black, white, yellow, or green. The author gives some powerful insights into how any type of “slavery” can demean its practitioner as well as its captive. He challenges all of us to stop defining and identifying ourselves as hyphenated individuals, feeding our diversity, and annihilating the things that unite us. We are not stronger as an individual or nation by celebrating our diversity. We are stronger as an individual and a nation by the things which unite us.
Ellison exposes the Democrat parties shortcomings, lies, corruption, and deception in a very specific, digestible, and fact-accompanied manner.
Ellison writes a good bit about the Democrat’s role in the degradation and oppression of the black community. As a young black man, I can relate and attest to all the content Ellison presents. In the black community everyone around us tells us that we’re inadequate. Everyone around us tells us that we’ll never be as good as the white man. Everyone around us tells us that we cannot achieve. This destructive notion, coincidentally, is typically pushed by the black community themselves. Self-hatred at its finest. The black community tends to blame their misfortunes and inadequacies on one persons - White Republicans/Conservatives.
I was raised in Charlotte, NC, a blue Democrat-ran city that would have you believe that the only reason you see so many blacks indulging dysfunctional lifestyles and failures is because the white man holds us down. Ellison disproves this ideology on Page 24 stating “isn’t it only Democrats that still have absolute control in the Black community? Therefore, if all of these atrocities are true, Democrats must be the culprits.”
Ellison also talks a great bit about black male cowardice and how black men have always been free but have never mustered the courage to let their nuts hang and exercise their freedom.
The Democrat party has contributed to the degradation of this nation and it is important for anyone who is interested in understanding these deplorable contributions on a granular level to check this book out.
The current plan of the Democrat party is to destroy conservative American values along with our basic freedoms This book reveals their plan on more details by purposely fan ing the flames of racial division and creating a sense of dependency on government to survive. Their ultimate goal is to usher in a socialist state where the elites control everything and everyone so that the majority of AMericans feel and remain slaves of the state. Controling the black vote has been a part of that plan since the end of reconstruction. So far the Democrat party plan has been very successful. This book sheds new light on how the party has achieved their success through Lord's and deception.
Excellent understanding the true history of the Democratic Party.
I hesitated at first on this author about the term of racism and white supremacy not the case. He tells his experiences of being black not what we are constantly being told from our Democratic Party and black leadership. Being a white conservative was a welcome to hear that it’s based on all lies. In fact I am getting a hard copy for my grandchildren to read for the history books.
After briefly listening to this person talk about his experience as a worker in jail and contributing his life experience to one political party or group was hindering my spirit in a negative way. After listening to the first chapter I had cancelled him out. I can’t allow evil, demonic chatter like his message to invade my peaceful space. One star for him only because he has the freedom to express himself in writing a book.
Vince Everett Ellison is fearless and forthright. Overly harsh? Considering the nature of the subject, Ellison would be a fraud if he were less critical. Faith guides Ellison and he will not be deterred. His point in writing is to get others to acknowledge and understand the evil in democrat party politics he exposes.
Interesting and enlightening. There is a lot to process here. Though repetitive at points, this was well worth the read. Too many people I know vote Democrat without understanding the truth. They claim compassion but the fruit of their policies is corruption. Thank you, Mr. Ellison, for laying out some difficult truth.
All I can say on his one is EVERY black person in America should read this one and wake the hell up!!! The DEMOCRAT party is NOT for you. Well they are, they are for you being their SLAVES!!! Slaves to them!!
He keeps the 25 things hidden so that you must buy the book. That's a sign of real dedication to one's country over and above profit. why do people erroneously refer to the Democratic Party as the Democrat party? Laziness, lack of education, or deliberate insult?
The reviews for this book will cover the full spectrum. Liberals/progressives will hate it and many conservatives will agree with it. One thing is certain: Mr. Ellison is a man of faith and conviction. I applaud him for not becoming weak-kneed in the face of cancel culture.
