I cant remember how I came across this book, but I am glad I did. I am interested in spirit/spirituality, so the idea of this book appealed to me, though being honest I was slightly skeptical of it being a kind of spiritual novel. This book is very unique. It is written very well, in the sense that it is readable, emotive, imaginative and although a novel theres sense spirituality and even self help themes underlying it. I found the main characters, Eva and Thomas in particular, likeable. There are/were many points through the book which were emotional, but for me personally, the ending of the book was very emotional, I still struggle to understand Eva's decision fully as a parent myself. Besides from this, although the ending was somewhat predictable, the twist at the end wasnt, which has led me to want to read the rest of the series. A really enjoyable, thought provoking read and a book which is hard to put down. Worth read in my opinion.
