Madilynn Dale is an author based out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, U.S. She writes fantasy, romance, and paranormal pieces primarily. She spends most of her day with her son, tending to her pets, and writing.

Madilynn holds degrees in several areas. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from Southern Nazarene University, located in Oklahoma. She also has an Associates of Science degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Sciences from Oklahoma City Community College. She is licensed as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Oklahoma and works as a PRN therapist.

Madilynn has enjoyed reading various forms of fiction and the occasional non-fiction story since she began reading as a young girl. Writing seemed to be another piece of this addiction to books, and she embraced it after becoming a mother. Writing is now a piece of her soul to be bared to the world.

Madilynn's hobbies, when not writing, include reading, baking, crafting, hiking, and horseback riding. She loves to travel and explore. One day she hopes to expand her travels and see the world, but in the meantime, you will find her working on her next novel. She will most likely have coffee and some form of chocolate with her as she writes.

Wow, this book was something else! In the very good sort of way. I made the mistake of starting it late last night, you know, when you want to read a few chapters before lights out? Weeelll, 4am came before by the time I'd finished the book! Yes, that's right, 4am, I COULD NOT put it down!!! What started as a standard shapeshifter book, very quickly turned into so much more! Honestly, how was I supposed to turn away from reading more when Ember, the MC, waiting for her wolf to surface, fends off a demon and black flames erupt from her hands? But wait, it gets even better, she discovers her dad is not her biological father and she has ties to Hell! Then her friend Zeke brings forth some astonishing reactions, then she's kidnapped and her memory suppressed, then she discovers another who makes her gaga! Ok, let me start by saying, I absolutely loved the plot and the pace of the book! The characters are so awesome, all of them. I love how complex the entire situation is, how Ember's life takes a different turn, how she makes firm friends and their subterfuge. It is rife with romance, magic, scheming and escape. And this is only book 1! I'm salivating for book 2, I need to find out if Ulric is ok, is Kai who I think he is and so much more! This book sets the stage for a thrilling, compelling and very exciting series! I can hardly contain myself but alas, in dire anticipation!

Take a bite out of this awesome paranormal romance

Multiple mates, and steamy scenes don't disappoint, but I'm loving the story it's all wrapped up in, and Ember is such a fun character. Though, honestly her childhood friend should totally have a different name 😂 Amber is just too close to the MC name.

I devoured the fun read in a single day! And now I regret it because the next book isn't out yet! How dare you rope me in and the series isn't finished! I guess I'll just have to reread this baby when the next book comes out. Oh no, what a chore... Haha that was me being sarcastic because duh if you're into reverse harem shifter demon mates paranormal romance then dive in and get you some. What are you waiting for. Read it damn it!

Black Flames surprised me in a good way. The action kept moving and the twists kept coming. I don't want to give away the story, but Madilynn Dale does a great job combining the reluctant hero with the chosen one, while adding in Greek gods, werewolves, vampires, hellhounds, demons and angels. There might have even been a cameo from the Lord of Darkness himself. Well worth the time spent reading it. I bought the book on a whim, but will be buying the rest of the series for sure.

Finally getting around to reviewing Black Flames. What a great combination of mythology and fantasy creatures. Werewolves, vampires, demons, angels, gods, you name it. And they are all lusting after the protagonist. If you like steamy fantasy, this is the book for you. Well written and fast paced, it keeps you on your toes with bedroom breaks in between.

Inventive premise for a series

Marilyn Dale has kicked off a new series with a unique heroine and a killer premise. No spoilers, but be aware, it gets spicier than I expected ( in a very enjoyable way). Can't wait to read book 2

What a unique take on shifters and Hell. There are so many twists and turns. The action is full on and the characters leap off the pages. The story includes shifters, vampires angels, gods, demons and more. Wonderful beginning to Ember's tale. And the heat in on!
