Brenda Murphy writes short fiction and novels. She loves tattoos and sideshows and yes, those are her monkeys. When she is not swilling gallons of hot tea and writing, she wrangles two kids, two dogs, and one unrepentant parrot. She reviews books, blogs about life as a writer with ADHD and publishes photographs on her blog Writing While Distracted.

oh man, this was beautifully sad. I didn't know it was possible to ugly cry with so few words and here I am writing this with a blurry (by tears) vision.
And that's why, folks, I avoid this kind of story, not because they are bad, quite the opposite, it was so sweet, but in the end it's so sad if you think about it and I don't like to feel sad. So if you like to feel the feels, go for it without a second thought. It's worth it.
4 stars. This was so damn good! It’s super short but Murphy really tells such a wonderful and oddly romantic story between Brandy and Liza in such a bite sized read. Liza is a ghost by the way. I loved it. Well written, has a haunting feel to it but it’s also sexy and romantic and I liked both characters a lot. I thoroughly enjoyed this from beginning to end.
