Seth and family didn't think things could get much worse. But this vacation from hell is giving them one hell of a run for their money. There is nothing they can do but fight and do everything they can to try and survive. Not everyone is going to make it through this one, which of your characters will make it to the end? Check out This is The End!
After 56 books I have finally made the decision that the about the author section is my least favorite thing ever, no really. The idea of writing about myself is about as exciting as watching paint dry. I know what you are thinking but you are an author. To be honest, I'm just like you, a regular guy/gal that lives in the Midwest. I'm married with two amazing kids(most days) and one very energetic rescued dog named Maggie. If I am not working on new tales of horror then you can usually find me on a motorcycle hauling a$$ down the highway or working on a new recipe with my daughter. The stories I write will make you think that I get some sort of sick pleasure stringing you along page after page...well, I do, but it's cheaper than therapy. I have been releasing since 2014 and still have a lot of nightmares up my sleeve yet to write.
Their vacation has been rudely interrupted by the undead, as in zombies!
We've got zombies from the Civil War. Confederate Zombies, Union Zombies, modern day bite victims turned zombies, and aliens in spaceships come to abduct humans for their galactic zoo turned zombies! The sweeping blue rays of the alien spaceship gathered up Seth, Kate, their three kids, and, of course, Earl and deposited them inside the flying saucer (sorta) but the alien zombies were running rampant and boy could they run, and jump, and bite. Fortunately, there were untold number of alien weapons just laying around and Earl figured out how to make them work! Old zombies, new zombies, Confederate zombies, Union zombies, alien zombies! All wanting to eat them! They're doomed! Unless they figure something out quickly! Just a little romp through a Civil War battlefield and graveyard resulted in a romp through the woods chased by zombies! The characters are outstanding with the typical inter-family verbal and physical fisticuffs. Earl is . . . well, he's Earl! Nobody wants him around, nobody wants to be without him either. Annoying as a mosquito in a pup tent, Earl is a good man to have in a fight. I love the family interplay, the sweeping storyline and the entire amusing tale. This is a great read!
Aliens, zombies and Earl, oh my. What a fun zombie and alien book. I know the girl says This is the End, but maybe Mike will reconsider... You know, like Motley Crue
Will that was a trip read that's for sure, full of aliens, zombies, and alien zombies, and a whole slew of smart asses to round things out .A little cheezy, But a whole lot of excitement.
I can't wait to read more in this series. The characters have become friends in my imagination, and I feel as if I have lived this with them. To the point I feel drained at the end of each book.
Be too much trouble, as Earl suggested. The aliens dumped them back on earth, unfortunately they sent the zombies too, even the alien ones. But, they dumped them in France! Just another thing to blame on Americans.
I enjoyed listening to this one. I was upset at the end, but Mike changed it up thank goodness. The characters were a good mix of people. Left me wondering if there will be another book?!
Seems to be the norm with Mike's books, very entertaining story and characters but it ends without really an end, left me wanting to see what happens next, there is no closure
Earl is the true hero of this amazing tale of zombies, aliens and alien zombies. Seth and his family must now face being dropped in Paris with all the zombies from the spaceship. How are they going to survive this vacation from hell?
