The Phantom: the Ghost and the Monster

Rate this book
Travel back to 130 years ago… to Victorian London… where the hopes and dreams of a new, modern, industrially-driven British Empire squat side-by-side with its horrid, downtrodden, dystopian, evil twin brother… just beneath our notice… and seemingly out of sight. The few people who can see them both… the Phantom, Mary Shelley and her monster, give us a glimpse into this frightening paradox… not that fiction has become fact!

Frankenstein’s monster is being stalked by an even greater monster, so he turns to the Phantom for help. An intriguing premise and the excellent flashbacks to the 17th Phantom led me to expect a better ending — and a less cringey villain.
