As usual this is a brilliantly written book, Mr Chance never fails to get the juices running in every way with his wonderfully satisfying reads.
Levi is pure alpha male, a great football player and a brilliant dad.
But not everyone want to be a parent, that’s where the problems kick in.
Leah is a perfect match for our player, strong, massive personality and passion.
The two have a great chemistry straight off, but distance, rules and other things always get in their way.
A wonderful story and some entertaining times with older characters.
This one will have you heart breaking and your emotions in overdrive, but there are some extremely funny and lighthearted moments too.

Jacob Chance sports romance are always a to go for myself. He writes a great book and they always seem to be page turners.. This book did not disappoint. Levi & Leah have chemistry that is off the charts when meeting in the Hamptons. He lives in one state and she in another. Changes in their lives bring them back together, however there is a someone that may prevent them from ever being together. This is a great feel good book, don't miss it!!

Another excellent read by Jacob Chance! You can add Levi and Leah to the list of characters to fall in love with. Jacob always has such great, but believable characters that make you feel that you are hanging out with a bunch of your friends. Leah and Levi met during a weekend away in the Hamptons and they're the only single ones left in their group. They agreed they would act on their chemistry for the weekend. Levi's not thinking of having a relationship, football and his son. And Leah's the same in regards to relationships. However, they never thought Leah would become the new trainer for the Pirates. Their chemistry is still there but her job is more important and she never wants to become a mother for fear that she could not love them as her parents did with her.
I loved their story and I wished it was longer. I loved seeing her love and develop a relationship with Levi's son, Three. And oh my goodness, I especially loved seeing Levi with Three. Cue the swoons! I loved that Three's his entire world just like he is to Three. Loved it!

Single dad, hot football player…. Um YES PLEASE! Tempting The Baller (Charleston Pirates #3) made me so happy and everything about this book is oh so sweet and romantic.
Levi couldn’t have been a nicer guy who’s 100% devoted to his five year old son. Three (Levi III) is cute as a button with a tender heart and he loves Levi just as much as Levi loves him. I just couldn’t help but fall in love with him. Levi is very protective over Three and because of this, he doesn’t really date nor does he bring women into his life. Levi’s great grandmother Mimzy encourages him to go on a weekend getaway with his teammates and their spouses. And what a weekend it is especially when he met the beautiful and lovely Leah. Leah is a funny, no nonsense woman who’s looking to relax and have a good time. There’s an instant and undeniable attraction between them, they don’t live in the same state and chances are they’ll probably never see each other again. Once they agree to have no strings attached fun in the bedroom during their vacation, it’s on!! And hot damn Levi and Leah seriously set the bed on fire. Their sexy times are steamy and hot AF!

Tempting the Baller book 3 in the Charleston Pirates series. This books brings you back to the Pirates that you already fell in love with. Levi and Leah’s story is just full of chemistry and steaminess. I love how Levi put Three first and above all. A little boy that you just want to take and cuddle. I am glad that Leah was able to realize her real potential on so many levels.Levi and Leah open each other’s eyes to what love can truly be.

A full five star read and let me tell you. It Should have been more if it could have been. What I love about Jacob's writing is he has the ability to pull you in from the first page until the end. Pure escapism is what I relish as a reader.

( Side note, I was a little bemused by his son's given name but trust me we learn the nature of what's behind why he calls his son Three) Anyway he is invited by his friends to spend a weekend at the Hampton's and whilst his son is the centre of his his universe he accepts he should have a much needed break.
Levi is presented with the opportunity to have a no strings attached weekend tryst with another of the group's friends called Leah. At the end of the weekend they will part ways to go back to their lives and never see each other again.
Only, they do see each other when Levi sustains a shoulder injury and the newly appointed athletic trainer is Leah. The chemistry is prevalent as it was on their weekend away but there is a no fraternisation policy and they should stay away. Plus Levi's son is his priority.

I really enjoyed the Charleston Pirates series and Levi’s story is one of the best. It’s story about love and family taking a chance and becoming happy and not being afraid. It’s a great story flowed characters were amazing and time flew by as did the pages of this great book.

Heartfelt and Amazing
I really enjoyed this book. My favorite in the series so far. The chemistry between Levi and Leah is intense. The road to happily ever after isn’t an easy one, but the journey is worth it. I highly recommend this book.

I only wish it was longer. I felt like our heroine’s insecurities could have been explored more and maybe dragged out in a few more chapters. Nevertheless, it was a good read.

A touchdown of love
Jacob Chance does it EVERYTIME, and he's done it yet again, he's created two characters in Levi Mason and Leah Arnold who I fell head over heels for. From beginning to end Jacob brings his all, there's laughter, tears, friendship, chemistry, desire, emotion, and a little boy who will capture all of your heart. TEMPTING THE BALLER was another book of Jacob's that I couldn't put down.
"Levi's the kind of guy who's easy to fall for, and it's up to me, and me alone, to make sure I don't."
Leah was previously introduced during the Boston Terrier's series, I like her then, and I hoped that Jacob would give her a story of her own. Spending the Fourth of July weekend in The Hamptons with friends is always fun, but for Leah and Levi it becomes so much more. Happy to just fool around together, with no expectations of commitments, Lea and Levi spend a lot of time together, both in and out of bed. The chemistry and attraction between them are instantaneous, but both appear to be happy to go back to their usual lives without exchanging any details.
"I have real feelings for Leah and that's something that I never allow to happen. Somehow, she slipped inside my defenses and made me care."
A chance at a change of job position finds Leah in the same city and working for the same football team Levi plays for. An injury sees Levi needing therapy and is shocked to discover that his therapist is Leah. From here the story takes a different curve, we learn of Levi's background, which broke my heart, but explains his reticence in being in as relationship. Leah learns that Levi has a son and becomes hesitant at resuming anything with him. I adored Levi, he was such a wonderful dad to his son, his love and protective nature shone through. I loved how, even though he desperately wanted Leah to be a part of his life, he allowed her time to make her decision. Although it was a little boy who had had her making her final choice.
"I love you more than I've ever loved anyone or anything."
TEMPTING THE BALLER was a brilliant touchdown of love. It was witty, fun, sexy, and had a romantic hero who would melt any woman's heart. Jacob has never failed to make me laugh with the antics of his footballers, and this one was just as hilarious ... a miss thrown (was it?) jart was the perfect example of his humour. Jacob definitely brought on the heat and sexiness with this one, however it was a little five-year-old boy who really stole the show. I can't wait to see what he does with Knox's story, Coaching The Kicker.

As a writer, Jacob Chance is addictive. He lulls you into a comfort zone that becomes very satisfying, almost like eating mac and cheese. He always puts a bit of himself in his books and it is challenging to look for them. His words weave a spell and his characters come alive as we plunge ourselves into the story. The illustrative words he uses in his sex scenes are extremely graphic and picturesque—maybe steamy and yummy would be closer to the mark.
I always look for the snappy chatter, the sarcastic and teasing dialogue, words that can be both arousing and comical, depending upon which character is doing the talking. I also look for colourful words that show us emotion or action. Words have meaning, and Jacob, like the artist that he is, uses them as his pallet to paint his story on a canvas, a story of love, tenderness, and trust. Another winner for Jacob Chance!

I have come to know the things you can always expect in Jacob’s Terrier/Pirates books are wonderful characters, laughs, emotional situations and of course romance. Tempting the Baller has all of those in spades. The book is well written and kept me smiling and engrossed throughout.
Levi plays for the pro football team The Charleston Pirates. What only a few very close friends know is that Levi is a single dad and his 5 year old son is his whole world. He rarely takes time for himself other than for practice and the games and he certainly doesn’t have time for a relationship. But when he’s asked to spend the 4th of July weekend in the Hamptons with a few of his buddies before the season starts, he decides to go. There he meets Leah, a sexy woman who is the only other unattached person in their group. Since neither is looking for a long term relationship, they agree to have a weekend fling, even though parting won’t be easy as their chemistry is off the charts.
But what happens when Levi’s shoulder starts giving him trouble and the team’s new trainer is none other than Leah, his 4th of July hookup? Laughs, emotions, a few tears and romance made this an excellent read and I can’t wait for more. If you haven’t started the series (both the Boston Terriers and/or the Charleston Pirates) I highly recommend them both. You won’t regret grabbing them up.

Five…golden stars! Tempting the Baller is a beautifully written book, with such a heart melting story. Delightful characters who are witty, thoughtful and sexy. Three stole the limelight, what a little champ he was and everyone needs a Mimzy in their life. Life isn’t perfect, it’s the hardships that shape us and give us insecurities to rise above. Although this book can be read as a standalone, I love getting the whole experience as we get to meet with past couples and revisit past scenes from an alternate POV. The characters took a chance and if you’ve never read a book written by Jacob Chance, now is your time to take one.

All the swoony feelings!!
This book made me sigh more times than I can count and all for good reasons!! Levi hides from the world that he has a son but is the most caring and loving father. He meets Leah and is just looking for some fun over a holiday weekend. Leah is also looking for some fun and thinks Levi solve the prefect person for that! They go their separate ways never thinking they are going to see each other again.
Leah gets a once in a lifetime opportunity to get her dream job - with the team that Levi plays for. She has the thought of avoiding him but that doesn’t last long.
As they navigate their situation, Three comes in and steals Leah’s (and our) heart and makes her decision so much easier!!
Jacob did another amazing job with this book and bringing all the feels while making us feel like we are right there in the thick of things! Loved the connections to the other books in this series as well as some old favorites! Definitely worth the read!!

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, secrets, and heartbreak.

The baller was very tempting
I loved Leah when I met her in Coach and I was glad to see she was getting her own story. I also fell in love with Levi after I met him in Kissing the Quarterback and definitely wanted to see more of him. So I was overjoyed that he would be Leah 's love interested. I think these two had great chemistry together and are a great match. Now let's talk about Levi's son, who is just all kinds of adorable 😍 TTB gave me so many feels, I teared up at certain parts and I laughed out loud at others. This book was just so freaking good. I can't wait for the next book in this series, even though I don't know much about Knox I can't wait to see what his story holds.

Levi has overcome a difficult past and has two priorities in his life which are his son and career playing football. He can’t afford to be distracted from either one but that doesn’t mean he can’t have a little fun at a weekend getaway when he meets Leah as it is not like they would see each other again.
Having the chance to be the athletic trainer for the Charleston Pirates is everything Leah has worked for even if it means working for the same team that Levi worked for. They are both determined to keep their relationship strictly professional and forget about the weekend they shared, what could possibly go wrong?
Witty banter, hot chemistry and plenty of emotion as despite a little turmoil there is no denying that they are meant to share their lives and just one weekend.

Another amazing story to add to this incredible series. Jacob Chance never disappoints!! Levi and Leah’s story is sexy, heartfelt and really beautiful. Not to mention there totally scorching love scenes. It will definitely leave you a little flustered.
