What happens when your twin sister lives her life so perfectly while you struggle to make yours pop? While everything seems to be going right in her life, you just can’t seem to catch a break. Do you just sit by and continue to feel like an outcast, unlucky and overlooked? Or do you plot to fix it all on your own terms?
Bitter As Fcuk! is a tale that takes a dark and twisted turn once secrets, lies and betrayal are revealed. Tears will be shed, pain will be felt and you’ll soon realize that sometimes blood ain’t no thicker than water.
This drama filled novella held my attention throughout. It proves family isn’t always supportive. I recommend this to anyone who likes an unhinged FMC.
It's sad that when a person life is not going right because of their own choices they become miserable, bitter, and jealous. Especially when they direct that anger towards someone they shared a womb with. Their own twin. I couldn't even begin to understand Karmani delusional ass. Her jealousy towards Kiani was seriously uncalled for being that is her twin sister. Jealousy can breed hate and become dangerous. Kiani knew Karmani was jealous of her job, her husband Nasir , and the fact she had kid's but she had no clue hate was embedded in Karmani as well. I don't agree with what Antwon was doing behind Karmani back but she pushed that man away and when she found out his secret. It pushed her over the edge. Karmani actions were unnecessary yet deadly
This was a short but good read. Karmani took bitter and jealousy to the max in this book. She was determined to eliminate her competition which happened to be her own sister. Antwon was also wrong for what he did as well and unfortunately he paid the price for his actions. Lives were definitely changed after the events of one day when a bitter, jealous and scorned Karmani acted on her revenge.
Mari was truly a sick individual like, girl, what was really your problem? How could you be jealous of your own twin, your womb mate? I’m glad Kiani trusted her gut and sensed something was off with her sister, because that intuition never lies. Nasir is a good man, now Ant honestly, I just wish he had left Mari before everything spiraled out of control. And Baylee… her snitching could’ve easily gotten her cousin killed, but thank goodness she didn’t set her sights on Cherie. I’d definitely love to see a part 2 especially if Mari comes back fake being paralyzed. That would be wild!
Who needs enemies when you have a sister like that chilee🥴….. Like her sister said they both had the same 24 hours in a day … Kamani had some people living in her head cause to be jealous of the person you’ve shared a womb with is crazy… she really was a Bitter Betty
this short read was great. it delves into the complex dynamics of twinhood, challenging the idea that an unbreakable bond exists between siblings. Karmani and Kiani, despite sharing the same genetic makeup, could not be more different. Karmani harbors a deep-seated jealousy and frustration and we get to see small glimpses of how she handles the feelings of inferiority and rejection. Marie did a great job of painting a vivid picture of Karmani’s internal struggles, allowing readers to feel the weight of her emotions even if we don't agree with her logic. Karmani really made at Kianni for living her life, when it was her own choices that has her feeling left behind. each twist in the story amplifies Karmani's mounting tension, making it impossible to put the book down. Karmani embodies the notion that sometimes, familial ties can be fraught with conflict and hostility, proving that blood is not always thicker than water. the fast-paced, twisty plot kept me on the edge of my seat, leaving me eager to uncover the next layer of this tumultuous relationship. the short length adds to the intensity, making the story super thrilling!
This was a good read. Even tho it was a short book, it was straight to the point without missing any important details. Karmani was definitely bitter AF
OMG! Karmani was bitter as Fcuk! Like seriously. She’s like that envious sister, cousin, or so-called friend that wants everything you have because her life isn’t going as planned. She’s miserable, angry with the world and always has a nasty attitude who keeps negative energy. Lord knows I wouldn’t want her in any aspect of my life. Kiani on the hand, is the exact opposite. A successful lawyer, wife and mother of three. It’s so hard to believe that they are twin sisters.
This fast-paced read was so damn good! Karmani was crazy as hell. I just wanted to slap her! Mental health is so real. Poor Antwan. He didn’t deserve that.
But to do that to your sister thou? Your twin sister!? Blood ain’t no thicker than water. Y’all gotta go read this book. I don’t wanna say anymore because I don’t want to tell the story. It’s a very quick read… but good, good!
Jealousy is an evil trait to have & Karmani crazy tail was one bitter jealous woman. I think she got off way too easy for the things she did. For her to ask to attend her husband’s funeral & then for a judge to grant permission for her to attend is even crazier.
they say twins have a special bond, but Karmani the memo. 🐍 in Bitter As Fuck, she didn't want what her twin had, she wanted to BE her, and the lengths she went to? I’m still screaming.
❛❜ There was a lesson to be learned in all of this craziness and I was starting to see it. You know how they always say respect your family and to love your family no matter what? Well shit, my sister just proved to me that sometimes blood ain’t no thicker than water. And that was something I was going to carry with me for the rest of my life. That bitch was bitter as fuck! ❛❜
i finished Bitter As Fuck by Thee Tasha Marie and wow… 5 stars! it might be a short read, but the drama is massive. i couldn’t believe the lengths Karmani went to. competing with your own sister instead of building with her? to the point of elimination?! 🤯 and don’t even get me started on what she did to her husband. i felt both POVs, but Karmani really frustrated me! instead, of working for her own success, she wanted to steal her sister’s. i was so mad about the husband situation—emotions are one thing, but her actions were next level. 😤
pro tip: look closely at her name… KARMAni. the karma was real in this one! this is my second read from this author and it for sure won’t be my last🤏🏽📚
They say your family can sometime be your biggest enemy. This proved to be true of Karmani when it comes to her twin Kiani. Kiani had the house husband and kids while Karmani had some struggles. Those struggles led her to be even more jealous than she had over the years. She was determined to have her sister’s life at any cost. The way she went about it with Ant after his secret came out was wild as hell. Ant kept his secret for as long as he could however all things soon come to the light. Nas didn’t deserve what happened to him and neither did Kiani. This was a great read and I loved all the drama in between. Great job love
“The thing with my sister and I was we barely got along.”
Whew. Sibling rivalry and then some. This was a fast paced 80 page novella packed with bitter jealousy. What lengths will a jealous twin do to feel fully validated? The answers speak for themselves with this.
Overall, it was underwhelming. I was waiting for a final plot twist or something shocking to happen at the end. Majority of the pages were the storyline but the last few were the plot. I needed a “wow factor”. But, it was a mildly entertaining read.
Bitter As Fcuk! follows twin sisters whose lives couldn’t be more opposite . One winning, one sinking, and all that jealousy and hurt finally explodes. The drama? Oh it was DRAMA’ing. Secrets, mess, chaos… I was locked in.
I gave it 4 stars because I ate this book up , fully invested, biting my lip swiping through my kindle. . But honestly? I needed 1–2 more chapters before the epilogue. Everything hit the peak and then BOOM… it ended. Like girl, wait…come back! Still a fire, fast read that had me hooked the whole time
This Was Short But It Was Good...I Swear That Chick Karmani Is Crazy. True It Was Messed Up How Antwon Did Her But She Ain’t Have To Kill Him. Yeah She Was Very Bitter And Crazy Wilth Her Jealous Ass. Yeah Nas Was In The Streets But He Treated Kiani Good...They Are Good For One Another. I Would Love To Read More About Them And How Things Turn Out & If They Would Get To Meet Antwons Lil Son. I Loved It! ❤❤❤
This was a good quick novella that has me flabbergasted. Like how are you jealous of your own twin sister that you shared a womb with? I thought Kiani was save when she threw out the drink Karmani gave her not expecting that Karmani had tampered with Kiani’s break lines. It was tragic that Karmani snapped and unalived Ant with his own gun because he cheated on her that produced him an offspring. I’m glad that Nasir’s head was on swivel and he didn’t allow Karmani to take him out.
Whew child karmani was definitely unhinged she needed some help for real all this wanting to be perfect to be like her sister was crazy I couldn't believe she did that to her husband I knew she had something up her sleeve when she told him to come home she was not to be trusted but to do what you did to your sister and brother in law that was crazy she tried to take everybody out
Kirmani was so unhappy with her life that she wanted the life her sister had including the man. She spent so much time being jealous of her sister when she could’ve been working to get the life she desired. Ant was low for what he did to her but he didn’t deserve to go out like that.
This was a dang good read! I love the fast pace of the storyline! Baby that sister was no joke! She was crazier than all get out! This is a book that will have you on edge the entire read! Definitely a must read!
I just can’t believe she did all this from jealousy She should’ve gotten checked out awhile ago Kiana was doing everything right with her life Nasir know has a scar on his face Antwon dead Lord part 2 me
This was a really good book, and a quick read. If you're looking for a page turner this is definitely one. I couldn't put this book down. Karmani was a hater and definitely got what she deserved.
Karmani!!!!! Girl, you didn’t have to do all that!!! Sheesh, your husband on the other hand 🤦🏾♀️ he just needed to be slapped up side the head, but not dealt with like that. And your sister 😭 she loved you no matter what girl. Whew chile, this was a good lil hour read.
Bitter bitches really do exist in families and this quick read proved it! Excellent read. Very compelling and engaging. This 78 page book packs a punch. You will always lose trying to battle someone's mind.
This was definitely a good read! The plot twists were insane! Jealousy and heartbreak are a lethal combination. You just never know how far off the deep end life will take some folks.
This book maybe fictional but we have all heard stories and even seen true crime shows based on characters like the twins. The book probably should come with a disclaimer that says this is a fictional book and not based on any true crime events.
I've been in a reading slump for a hot minute . This was so good and my first read by this author . I enjoyed this short novella ! Sister girl was crazy finna dive into some more books by this author .
Kiani had it all the perfect husband, kids, and a good career. But it was one person that wanted what she had and that was her twin sister Karmani and she was determined to get it….or so she thought!
It was a really good quick read. I enjoyed the plot and enjoyed reading about love and hate in different forms. This was a crazy outcome, but teaches you that comparison really is the thief of joy.
