I am a mental health author and motivational speaker on a variety of personal, emotional and workplace wellness topics.
My books offer therapists and their clients, as well as self-help readers, practical solutions to deal with common problems such as low self-esteem, depression, anxiety and relationship issues. My four book “Tips and Tools for the Therapeutic Toolbox” series published by mental health publisher PESI, offers counseling worksheets, psycho-educational handouts, worksheets, activities and visualizations to improve communication, stay positive, think more rationally, develop more self-compassion and mindfulness, and improve stress management skills. The focus of my books, coaching and presentations are based on widely accepted therapeutic modalities, primarily CBT, DBT, ACT and Positive Psychology.
I am also a WW Norton author (The Therapist’s Ultimate Solution Book), and my book for New Harbinger, “Embrace Your Greatness: 50 Ways to Build Unshakeable Self-Esteem” will be released on January 2, 2019. Later in 2018, I will have my first therapeutic self-help card deck released, published by PESI, entitled “The CBT DECK: 55 Tips and Tools to Manage Anxiety and Stress.”
After 40 years of working as a psychotherapist, I now offer mental health coaching and consultation via phone and Skype. I also promote emotional health and wellness in my interactive and experiential presentations and trainings, as well as in my books. I have spoken nationally at various conferences, workplaces, retreats, Governor’s conferences as well as offering Continuing Education programs to other mental health professionals.
