I hadn't read the previous 2 books in this series but it might have helped me if I had. I did feel a bit lost at first now and then since mythology isn't something I've read before and some of these beings were new to me also. It didn't ruin my enjoyment of Twisted Magic and I got caught up in the story fairly quickly. New readers might benefit from binging the whole series. It's easy to get sucked into this world and the main characters intertwined stories so, if time allows, why not jump all the way in? This could be the perfect summer read and you won't forget it anytime soon!

I really enjoyed Shane and Fiori’s story I love paranormal romance and I loved the spin with Jekyll and Hyde retelling that was added to this story. I didn’t read the first two books which I will be going back and reading but I was still able to follow along the story. I loved the magical world this author has created her detailing made it so much more real ! Definitely will be recommending and reading more of Michelle Mankin !

Twisted Magic was a roller coaster to get through. I am not a huge paranormal romance fan, but Michelle Mankin has the magic touch and had me falling for Fiori and Shane's story. There was a lot going on, but the words flowed and the story interwined beautifully.
There was the dark of the emotions and trying to overcome internal battles. Then there was the parts that you knew everything will fall into place as it was meant to be. Twisted Magic is a story that will capture your attention and not let you go!

This is a PNR story, where we get Shane and Fiori's story, this story is full of mythology, I love myth, pnr and fantasy, so if you love them like I do, I recommend this story and the series. The story is very interesting, will hoo, you from the start and you don' need to read the first two in the series to enjoy it. Fantastic rollercoaster ride.

Twisted Magic was definitely a story that I never saw coming, and it was glorious. Shane is now a duality demon, and he's not pleased about the beast that lives within him, and he does everything he can to keep it contained. Fiori is a beautiful century with a very nurturing soul so she's all that is light in the world. Shane is dealing with a ton of guilt that he can't seem to get past, while Fiori struggles with the secrets she holds which is certainly doing some damage to her light. These two are fated but their path is not paved with anything easy that's for sure. They have a very intense slow burn situation going, but since there are sparks here & there, it's only a matter of time before it ignites. The world that Michelle Mankin created is full of magic (of course), & emotion that consumed me cover to cover, and now I really want more. I know it's a standalone book, but I will be reading the previous books in this wonderful world, so I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I savoured this book from start to finish. This was a very different genre and pace to what I have read of Michelle Mankin previously. But it still had her gorgeous depth of emotion and detail and angst.
I haven't read either of the books previous to Twisted Magic so wasn't familiar with the characters. As a result the love story that developed was very different to what I was expecting. The story had unexpected twists and my heart ached. And it takes a lot for a book to make me cry. But I sobbed big fat tears at places in the story.
This is a love story between a Duality Demon, Shane/Hyde, and his fated, Fiori. Shane has previously loved and lost a mate. He internally battles his demon and is weighed down with grief and guilt. Fiori is a Century and gives her life to help others. She is naturally nurturing and my heart broke for her repeatedly for the sacrifices she makes to help those under her care. Theirs is not an easy path as Shane is determined to control and subdue his demon half. He won't allow himself to feel or fall in love.
This is an intense slow-burn. You get hints of the chemistry and passion between them. When they finally give in it is an all consuming chemistry they share.
I adored this story and all its incredible characters who are just as captivating as the leads. This book took me out of myself and into this magical paranormal realm with its immensely satisfying love story.

Michelle Mankin has such an amazing way of turning a story into so much more. She takes her characters to such emotional depths that has the reader living the characters life along side them, lost in their emotions. Her stories aren’t pretty and fluffy, but have a dark side with so much loss and sadness, but the journey she takes you on as you watch her characters grow and transform is priceless. Twisted Magic, her Jekel and Hyde retelling is no different. Hyde/Shane and Fiori’s story is one of acceptance, understanding and finding yourself. It’s so much more than a simple love story. Beautifully written, you feel the love the author has for these characters. Another amazing story by this wonderful author.

This was my first paranormal romance, but not my first book by the amazing Michelle Mankin.
I did not read the first two books in the series, but as stated, you definitely can read as a stand-alone.
Twisted Magic is a wonderful story of light vs dark, fighting for what you believe in and true love conquering all.
Michelle does a beautiful job of writing characters that you become fully invested in and a story that pulls at the heartstrings. I was enthralled from start to finish. I’d highly recommend this book!

Twisted Magic is an amazing addition to this series! I went back and reread Strange Magic and Dream Magic before starting this ARC of Twisted Magic. I wanted the full experience, and I’m so glad I did! The cliffhangers from the first two, all come to fruition in Twisted Magic. Shane’s story begged to be told, and WOW! Michelle Mankin does it again, she brings you to the brink of happiness, roller coasters you over the edge until you are spiraling and brings it home! I can honestly say, I never saw it coming but I’m so glad it did!

This was a magical story that was certainly twisted. This is the third book in this series and it's recommended that the first two are read prior to reading this one. References from the first two books are in this book. This book was more magical and twisted than the first two. I felt like this book wrapped up and filled in the blanks for this series.
It was well written and I was able to follow along. There are quite a bit of twist and turns in this book. It's paranormal, it's slow burn, it's love versus hate, it's self acceptance, and it's loving unconditionally. I love it!

"Twisted Magic" indeed! I have read most all of Michelle Mankin's magnificent books however, this is the first paranormal genre of hers that I have had the pleasure to read. I was instantly captivated by the characters and their surrounding worlds, light vs. dark, good vs. evil, love vs. loathe. There are many twists, turns and emotions throughout Shane and Fiori's journey. I loved this exquisitely written book and highly recommend it.

Michelle Mankin is one of my favorite authors and of course she did not disappoint with her latest book in the Magic series Twisted Magic.
Following the story of Shane/Hyde and Fiori was a delight when you take the greek world and add a bit of jykell and hyde into the mix. I was team Shane/Hyde and Fiori all the way. The magical world that Michelle created has her gorgeous depth of emotion and detail.

I love everything Michelle writes. This hands down have to be one of my favorites. This twisted spin on Jekyll and Hyde is amazing. I understand fighting yourself to keep people you love safe. I love when they finally let fate take its course and love was fated in the end. I love a Michelle happy ever after story and this is it for me. You would not be disappointed.

Shane starts off not being able to live with himself for what he couldn't control. He fights his other self. When he he learns to live with his demon and figure out nothing is in his control.

This is the first PNR book I have read written by Michelle Mankin and it won't be the last.
It's very well written and put together and easily takes the reader off into a world where magic and gods exist and fight each other.

Shane and Fiori's story was a great change from my every day go to genres. There is just something about this dynamic and the paranormal genre that I loved! The world building was great and the characters really come to life in this story. I would really give this story a try!

Highly recommend reading this if you love romantasy with a unique magic system. Slow start but after 30% it really picks up, push through it’s worth it.

WOW! Absolutely just WOW! This story really drags you through the wringer but in the most beautiful way!!
This book is a long one and is jam packed with action but it’s written with so much detail and beautiful descriptions. I love all things mythology but Mankin really created a world unlike any other I have read because it’s not a retelling it’s a rewrite of what could be!
The imagination that this world creates is one I will always remember! The characters, the setting all of it just well thought out and expertly written.
I have not read the other stories and I was able to follow along and now I am intrigued and want to go back to the start. For anyone who is a lover of myth, fantasy and just a good adventure love story then this book is for you!

OMG!
Shane/Hyde and Fiori are the perfect threesome. This final book of the Magic Series is awesome. I cried both sad and happy tears throughout the whole book. Thank you very much for your wonderful storytelling. I highly recommend this book as well as the other two of this series. You won't regret picking up one of them.

A beautiful story weaving together light and dark, love and hate,friendships and enemies, magic and power,wanting and needing, secrets and lies. Powerful and emotional it swept me away on a journey that was unexpected and wonderful. With so many feels you'll need tissues and a moment to reflect.
