It's like seeing old friends every time I pick up a Grace Goodwin book

Each and every book by Grace Goodwin that I've read has been a delight, and this series with the beasts has been both entertaining and heartwarming!

In Big Bad Beast, we get Maxus’ story, an Atlan warrior that was captured by the hive and has some serious hive (imagine cyborg) integrations forced on him. He escaped and went to earth illegally to find his bride. For money, he cage fights… and then he spends the rest of his time looking for his mate before the Mating fever is so bad he must be unalived.

Vivian, YES! A plus-sized, older single mom who raised her twin girls and is doing what she has to do to make a living. Paramedic by day, and a medic for an illegal fight club by night. She has been taking care of everyone her entire life. OMG I LOVED HER! When she finally puts herself first I cheered!

But that would be too easy right… fight club, boy meets girl, HEA… and you are right there is so much more to this story. Is it insta? YES! Do I care? NO… these are broken warriors that can scent their mate and will be devoted to them forever. Bring on the insta!

I thoroughly enjoyed Big Bad Beast, a hot, passionate, and amusing story. This story has it all: suspense, villains, and a slew of familiar faces! I loved it! As long as Grace Goodwin continues to write, I will continue to read.

If you're looking for a fantastic read, I highly recommend this one.

Vivian is a reluctant medic who patches up the fighters in an underground fight club. She’d rather be elsewhere, but the hard-working, single mom hasn’t raised two amazing daughters by being a fragile flower. When the gorgeous, and enormous in every way, fighter stage-named “Wolf” throws her over his shoulder and promises her pleasure and protection, even Vivian is shocked at her own eagerness to play Little Red to his Big Bad.

Fans of the Interstellar Brides Program series will be familiar with the formula. Maxus is the latest of a line of aliens masquerading as human (albeit uncommonly huge and muscled) who have only one fated mate whom they would kill or die for, forever. For. Ever. The mating is hot and hard.

If you are looking for next level, simplistic, alien erotic romance, Grace Goodwin delivers yet again.

I've also read the first 3 books in this series, and Big Bad Beast is the best one by far. It features an older FMC (by that I mean early/mid 30s) who has adult daughters. The MMC has spent time pretending to be a human on Earth and has an understanding of human culture, including that he can't just spirit the FMC away to his planet because his mating instincts have kicked in. Their relationship is sweet and mature (love how protective they are of each other!), and there is still no shortage of 🥵-ness. Really enjoyed this one.

WHEN YOU KNOW, YOU KNOW

While this new series is part of the Interstellar Brides Program, it has a unique twist that keeps the pages turning as this tale unfolds. This time, instead of coming to Earth through the coalition, Warlord Maxus has managed to arrive and attempt to find his mate. He will work at an Underground Fight Club to support himself and goes by the name of Wolf. It will be there, where he catches the scent of his mate and finds her.

Vivian Davis is paid well to patch up Snook’s Underground Fight Club contenders. She avoids going inside, and those injured come outside to her and her partner, Wayne. When a large man comes out, cut and bleeding, she tends to him, but she is as captivated by him as he is by her. For Maxus, his Beast is thrilled to find their mate. Now, he must claim her but be cautious in his actions.

The story’s plot will have Maxus and Vivian meeting outside the fight club, where she will patch him up. But it won’t stop there; these two will leave together, going back to his place. The chemistry between them is magnetic, and they are naturally drawn together.

The story has the good, the bad, and the ugly. Snook is trouble, and not just for Maxus, but for Vivian. For Maxus and Vivian, it is a pairing—even if she doesn’t know yet that he is an alien, one with a Beast who wants her too. But, the Hive and Nexus that integrated Maxus with Hive technology not only want him back in their control, they now want Vivian, too. They have sent other Hive integrated aliens to try and capture Maxus, but when they also want Vivian, he won’t be fighting them alone; other Atlan Warlords will be involved.
Now that Vivian has learned the truth, what will she do? Has Maxus Beast lost control with mating fever since Maxus has kept him suppressed? Will it be too late to save him?

The story has plenty of intense scenes of sensuality and passion between Maxus and Vivian. I love that she dresses up, and he gets as much pleasure out of their games as she does. Has the Wolf finally found his Little Red? Will they have their chance for their ‘happily ever after’ ending?

OMG, this book was fantastic! I have been a fan of this series for a long time now. I didn't think it could get any better and then this story came out. I couldn't put it down. I had to finish it in one sitting. I loved seeing Maxus find in mate, Vivian.

Maxus has come to Earth in search of his mate. He was Atlan Warrior who was captured by the Hive and experimented on. He managed to escape though. He has been fighting in underground fights to make money while he searches for her. He doesn't expect to find her during one of his fights. Vivian agrees to patch up the fighters after they are finished to make some extra money. She needs to take care of her girls. She never expected Maxus or how he makes her feel though. Maxus knows that she is his mate and he must gain her love before he tells her about his beast and fully claim her. When Hive trackers come searching for him, he must do whatever to keep her safe. Will she be able to accept all of him before it's too late?

At first I was a tad unsure about this story since I don't usually read older women stories. The female also had college age twin daughters and that is also a trope I usually avoid. Nothing personal it's just hard for me to relate as I'm only in my early twenties.
But in typical Grace fashion....she spun the story in such a seemingly effortless & captivating way that I could not help but keep on turning the pages. I was absolutely entranced with not just the steamy scenes ( But HOLY SH@T!! the SMUUUUT!! ) but because each and every IBP story is soo emotional. The pain and sacrifice of these warriors tears my heart every time. I loved Maxus and Vivien's story, the tough fight they had against the hive just to ensure their happily ever after and also, I cannot wait to see what happened with Vivien's daughter!!! I need that story like NOW!!

Unexpected and hilarious at the same time!
And the woman believing this is more unexpected. Even that all the signs was there….
But why not? He is all a woman want….. and more!
And She hate aliens! She can’t consider him an alien, can she?
Intriguing and thrilling, and full of steam - as all Grace’s stories.
And all the action is on Earth - as werw all the books from this series.
But diferent from this series, this Beast is not a Bachelor contestant!
I don’t say more! You must read it!

Big Bad Beast: Interstellar Brides Program: The Beasts #4 is a spin off from the original Interstellar brides Program.

Maxus is a contaminated Hive Soldier. Nexus Six wants him back in The Hive. Maxus wants to find his mate. He can sense her. Vivian is the Earthling that Maxus can sense is his mate.

I just want to say… don’t ever say never, because you might just find it forever.

I really enjoyed reading Maxus and Vivian’s story. I loved the ending and it appears that Adrian’s story is next. Adrian is Vivian’s daughter.

Oh my….I am in awe of the way Grace Goodwin (author) can spin a tale and have me soooo enraptured. I will say it again and again that she is in one of my top five favorite authors list. For one thing her books are known for her great characters that are so easy to love and want to keep reading about. I have not been disappointed in not one of her books yet. On top of that she can really get panty meltingly hot 🔥🔥. I highly recommend Big Bad Beast, Interstellar Brides Series, Interstellar Brides Program:The Beast (well, any of her series), and Grace Goodwin as an author. I have read all of her books and I have never been disappointed so it is with complete confidence that I can recommend Big Bad Beast along with Grace Goodwin and all of her books. I am always in tinter hooks waiting for the new release. Happy Reading 📖!

Atlan Warlord Maximus is hiding out on Earth and is presumed dead by his fellow Atlan Warlords which is just the way he wants it. With Hive trackers searching for him the only priorities for the moment are on finding his mate, then eliminating the Hive scourge. The two human fight club opponents currently annoying his beast, not so much. But then while in the middle of the bout his beast gets a faint whiff of what can only be his mate. Here, at a fight club??? Not quite, but this is where things really get interesting, and the story becomes a rousing good entry in the Interstellar Brides series.
Vivian and Max will singe the proverbial pages with their passionate desire for each other as the Atlan mating fever goes into full swing. There are many surprises and revelations in this book in between the finely honed narrative which delivers excitement, action, and adventure while carrying the reader along for an exceedingly good time. We have assuredly been primed for a fantastic, fast paced game of love read. I totally enjoyed this story, and any follower of the series will too!!!
The epilogues ending was a masterfully Goodwin “just dropped the mic” moment, and I CAN’T WAIT for the next book to see how THAT plays out!

This book was so worth the wait and I loved every minute of it and yes it kept me up till the early hours in the morning because I didn’t want to put it down. Warlord Maxus came to earth with others to take females for breeding but before this happens Maxus breaks free of the mind control collective that Nexus Six had them under. Vivian is a paramedic that patches up the underground fighters for Snook who runs the streets in her neighbourhood but she’s not happy but it pays good money. Maxus is pretending to be human and fights for Snook who he hates in his underground fight club until he finds his mate Vivian and everything changes for him because he now has something to loose. There are tracker’s sent by the hive to get Maxus back at any cost even taking his mate to be a breeder but with help from some of his friends from the coalition military will they be able to stop this from happening or not and what happens when the Nexus six takes back control over Maxus will his friends have to kill him to survive and what happens with Vivian when she learns about who and what Maxus really is after loosing her brother to the coalition will she still want him. To find out what happens with everyone involved you’ll need to get this brilliant book to find out.

Maxus is on the verge of Mating Fever. He has been on Earth “hiding amongst them.” When he catches the scent of his mate. It takes all his strength to hold his beast back. Vivian is a single mom and an EMT. She has been working to keep a roof over her head and making sure her girls had what they needed. When Maxus and Vivian meet it is magnetic. She brings on his beasts need to mate. She doesn’t believe in love at first sight. That can’t really happen? But these two are hot from the start. The only issue is that Vivian doesn’t believe the aliens are doing right. Her brother enlisted with the coalition and she hasn’t heard from him. Women are being taken as brides but she doesn’t see it that way. Maxus doesn’t want to lie to her but he doesn’t want to lose her either. I love that not only is their relationship hot and heavy but that he has been blending with the humans for a while. He learned how to survive here. When the Hive is hunting him, you know things are going to get ugly. I was so glad to read that we have other aliens on Earth looking for love. This is all do to the Mating Program that they have as well as the Ball that is to come. Then of course we end on a sort of cliffhanger. Adrian and Stefani are Vivian’s girls and one has found her mate but is he tame? NEED TO KNOW. These books are so good.

Maxus has escaped Nexus Six’s mind control and the Hive. He is impersonating a human while on Earth seeking his mate. While fighting in an underground cage fight he smells his mate on someone near the fighting mat. He finds Vivian who is working as a nurse at the fights, and he quickly seduces her.

Vivian is mom to college age twin girls. She was a single mom at 16 and she’s been working hard to keep her head above water.

Vivian is extremely attracted to the huge fighter and they spend several weeks having nightly sexathons which barely dulls their desire for each other. She is completely surprised when she learns Maxus isn’t actually a human, but an Atlan Warlord.

This is a very steamy read, with all the action taking place on Earth. The storyline is fast-paced and entertaining. I wish their would have been a bit more to the story, maybe some scenes when Vivian first arrives on Maxus’ home planet or a scene where she tells her girls where she’s moving. Overall it is a good read.

Maxus is fighting in an illegal fight club to burn off some steam and make money to pay the bills. Vivian is an older mom to twins and she works at night to supplement her girl's college and living expenses. Vivian's day job is as a paramedic, so she's qualified. Her patient is a huge guy, Maxus, an Atlan Warlord, but she's clueless about aliens and she and Maxus have an undeniable attraction to each other. Maxus scented her as his mate and proceeds to show her how much they belong together, before he must be destroyed due to mating fever. I enjoyed them together and the fact that Vivian isn't a young model type h, she's older and her body is lush, showing she has carried children before. The end shows a possible future with Vivian's daughter and I look forward to that story.

Another great addition to the series! Maxus is an Atlan warlord trying to find his mate before the fever takes him over. He has been strong and escaped from the Nexus who wants him back. When Maxus meets Vivian, his beast knows immediately that she is the one. Vivian is preoccupied with her job and kids and doesn't realize that Maxus is more that a human. By the time she finds out, Maxus' beast is in a frenzy to claim her. There is a HEA and a set up for the next book, which includes Vivian's daughter as the mate of another warlord. Excellent book and series!

Maxus is hiding on Earth hoping to find his mate before the fever takes over. He escaped from the nexus that had captured, tortured him and wants back. His integrations have kept the fever at bay and is starting to waver. He scents his mate while fighting in an underground fighting ring. This is how he makes money to survive on Earth. Vivian is a nurse/paramedic and takes care of the fighters once they are through fighting. She is instantly attracted to Maxus. There adventure begins. I love this series and can't wait for the next book. I love Grace Goodwin's books, they are hot and steamy. I wish she could put books out faster. I gobble them up as she does. You miss ing out if you haven't read her books. This continuation of the series doesn't disappoint.

Maxus has escaped the Nexus unit controlling him and is living as a "human" on Earth. He makes a living via an underground fight club while searching for his mate. Vivian meanwhile is a 36yo paramedic who moonlights as a nurse for said fight club. One day Maxus catches her scent, and the rest is history. Their relationship is the typical insta-love/lust/connection, but also different than Ms. Goodwin's "normal" in that Vivian has anti-alien prejudices (Yes, these prejudices instantly vanish once she realizes Maxus is an alien), so Maxus initially pretends to be human.

Other plot events of note include mentions of a "Cinderella Ball" being planned for Bachelor Beast Atlans, mysterious benefits of Maxus' Hive integrations, and finding out which couple will (IMHO) likely be featured in the 5th Beast book.

Generally, the Prillons books are my favorite in this series. And coming in a close second would the Beasts. After reading this one about Maxus, I may be changing my mind! I loved Maxus and the way this story unfolded. Whenever the stories take place on Earth, there is a different feel with some of the "fish out of water" trope from the aliens that I especially like.

Big Bad Beast continues the series with more knowledge to learn about the war with the Hive. I felt this story was different in an engaging way, but familiar in the level of details, fairly high heat, and caring Alpha males pairing with sassy women from Earth. Just love this Interstellar Brides series! (4.5 stars)

Fourth in the Interstellar Beast series as all of Grace’s books this one is hot! This time we have an older couple. Vivian even has grown children. Maxus, who’s a great male lead, has been living on Earth in hiding hoping to find his mate. Once he does the fun begins as we follow their steamy adventures to a happy end!

I just love Grace Goodwin and if you haven’t read anything else by her you can certainly start here. Just be warned, like potato chips one will never be enough!

Maxus in an Atlan warlord who is has been the all kinds of torture. He is battling the mating fever while on Earth. He is trying to blend in while trying to find the one who will save him. He finds her when he is in a cage match. He throws her over his shoulder and tells her he will protect and please her. Vivian is raising two daughters and she would rather do anything than be a medic for the fighters. When Maxus claims her, she does not put up a fight.

Maxus is intense and awesome and wonderful and just everything that Vivian needed and deserved. There was some pretty crazy stuff going on for these two but how they interacted was a joy to read about. The playfulness between them was awesome. Getting a glimpse inside an Atlan‘s head just makes you want one for your own. I’m loving getting to know these guys and their beasts and the ladies who love them.

Maxus, the male alien lead, is hiding on earth, having escaped his captors but not wanting be killed or exiled because he’s in mating fever, he’s searching desperately for his mate. Vivian, the female human lead, is the reluctant paramedic at the illegal fights Maxus participates in to facilitate being on earth. When he scents her, he chases her but they both need to escape from the evil still chasing him and she hates aliens, having lost her brother to the war in which Maxus was captured…

This story is dual POV, well written, and an intense, highly erotic story. I enjoyed the character development and Maxus’ willingness to sacrifice for Vivian’s comfort and preferences. I also enjoyed how Vivian’s young adult twin daughters engaged with Maxus and the ending was cute.

This story started off differently than the Bachelor Beasts books did and I loved that freshness and, frankly, my uncertainty on how things would work out ;P This story takes us on quite the wild ride of danger, drama, prejudice, sacrifice and just so much love that the feels really grabbed at my heart. I enjoyed seeing these two find their way to an HEA and I am absolutely dying to get my hands on the next book!

We don’t talk about fight club

This is the first book I’ve read from this series, but I absolutely loved it. There is so much heavy emotions and backstory, but the author made it fun and interesting when these sweet mates make a connection. I love how they both live their lives with honor and have that line they just won’t cross. The twins are amazing, and they are both strong examples of their mom’s influence. And the bad guys seem to come from everywhere, keeping the story moving and me glued to my seat. I truly enjoyed this weekend read, and I can’t wait to see what happens when the next book hits my ereader.

The next installment in “the beasts” spin off of the interstellar brides program is awesome. It doesn’t follow the same line as the previous books as their is no “tv show” part to it. It’s about an Atlan warlord who is hiding out on Earth searching for his mate on his own.

The latest Atlan Warlord to claim a mate on Earth, isn't even supposed to be on the planet legally speaking. Vivian is a paramedic at the beck and call of a mobster. Maxus is his prime fighter in the illegal fight club. Then Maxus finds his mate and things get even more interesting as five other Atlan Warlords find them. Absolutely loved the book. Can't wait to see who Adrian claimed as hers.

An Atlan and a Hive captive survivor puts Maxus at the top of my "drop everything and read this book" list. I really hate the Atlan practice of executing those experiencing mating Fever. Maxus and Vivian's story is a fast read with danger lurking behind every page. I love that every Coalition warrior would do anything to protect his mate, even from friends, family, and herself. I loved the epilogue and hope to see the outcome sooner rather then later.

This series has something for everyone so grab this and enjoy!
