I'm somehow back in New York, staring up at the dark sky. The lightning streaking through the clouds, basking in the down pour from the rain.
How did I get here? Was all of this a dream?
Was I really in Faerie?
More truths are revealed, while more questions are asked. I'm back on Earth to bring back everyone that should be at my side... if I ever go back to Faerie.
These portals need to be opened, the fae, all of the fae deserve to go to our own realm, be who we were meant to be.
But... Betrayal is all that surrounds me.
Are we doomed?
The Fae, a 73k word novel, is the second book in The Healer trilogy. This is a reverse harem, meaning the main character has more than three love interests and doesn't have to choose. Why choose, anyway?
This book is intended for readers over the age of 18. There may be triggers for sensitive readers, including, strong language, mature adult content, and situations.
Also includes: shifters, fae, vampires, mages, and adventures.
2,5-3 ish So i got mixed feelings about the second book, it feels like everything is just all over the place. I don´t know where i have the fmc really, unclear who she is gonna have join her harem. Mac is the only one i am 1000% percent sure about. I hope there will be more communication and talk between them all, like people ya need to communicate how ya feel to each other. that ending, was so not nice now i needs to know what will happen
Book two really expands the story and takes on a similar vibe to Artemis University, but without the weird stream of consciousness writing style. Its no copy, just close, and imo better in character development and story flow. Continues to be well written entertainment, but has strange formatting errors with bracketed numbers popping up in random places.
The first book was ok but this second book was an annoying read. The MCs musings were just rehashed over and over. That and her sudden need to claim anything male that looked at her made this book a bit of a drag to read. Not my cup of tea.
How does a sequel become an even bigger jumbled mess than the 1st book? Somehow this one accomplished that. The editing is only a tiny fraction of the problem. The constant contradiction of the "rules" of the realms are the main issue.
So many twists and turns around every corner of this book. The character development is amazing and well thoughtout. The storyline is very powerful and keeps me on the edge of my seat.
