If you are someone who roots for adventure, road trips, treasure hunts, and some dose of revenge, then Brian Clifford’s Venomous should be on your reading list.
The story follows Oliver, a young school boy from Boston who usually has a hard time at school due to his sneer and sarcastic remarks. He is always under the impression that he’s intellectually superior even though he dreads moving out of his comfort zone.
To teach him a lesson, his parents take him to Arizona to his uncle’s family. Little did he know that Tucson, Arizona will hold a once in a lifetime adventure for him. Amidst the scorching heat of the desert, the danger of slithering and venomous fauna of the landscape, a chance lies to become richer than they ever anticipated.
With ancient clues, structures, ruins, statues, and a lot more, Venomous is a nicely written treasure hunt with a considerable amount of action and mystery.
