The Blind Split

Rate this book
Detective Wayne Nichols and Investigator Dory Clarkson have recently joined the staff at Rosedale Investigations, a PI business run by former Detective PD Pascoe and his young side-kick Billy Jo Bradley.

Their first case begins when Cara Summerfield engages Rosedale Investigations to find Danny insisting on complete confidentiality. She's received a letter from her son Danny's girlfriend saying he's been assaulted for unpaid gambling debts. She wants to send the money, but the return address is unreadable. Cara got pregnant in high school and Danny was given up for adoption. She met her husband, Grant, in college and they have been married for decades. He's a rising star politician and theirs is a good marriage, although childless.

This book quickly became a page turner, I had to know if Lexie and Teddy would ever have a relationship.
Can you imagine finding out you have a brother when you’re about to get married? Lexie hires Rosendale Investigations to find said brother. He is a toddler, and your heart will break for him!
This story kept giving and giving, and bombshells drop, surprises abound!
If you enjoy a good mystery, this one will keep you guessing!

I received this book through Great Escapes Virtual Book Tours, and was not required to give a positive review.

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

If you are looking for a cozy that is a little different then the norm then look no further then this gem. We get to follow the entire staff of the P.I. office providing all sorts of different POV's as each does their part. This creates a well played investigation that is constantly evolving as they find new clues while also coming up with lots of questions. Makes for a fabulously fun read that I found very enjoyable from start to finish. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
