We’re messing around when we call our boss Santa. But the truth is, I’d die to sit on his knee. Jack is burly and bearded, with silver in his hair. He’s generous and kind, and he always knows when we’ve been bad. But the storybook Santa rides a sleigh, not a motorbike. And he runs the North Pole, not a whisky-soaked bar. Jack took me in when I was a runaway. He gave me a job and put a roof over my head. He’s given me so much already, but now... I want more. Please, Santa. I know exactly who I want this year. Santa Baby is a short and steamy age gap instalove story, where the hottest holiday wishes come true.
1.5 for the sweetness and -3.5 for this and other cringe: Plenty of nights, knowing she’s asleep just upstairs, I’ve gripped my cock in my office. Worked myself over, thinking about climbing those steps and joining her in that single bed. Pushing her pretty legs apart and wedging myself home.
This one was hard for me to get though.. I couldn’t find with the characters.. I wish Jack was more Alpha he was more of a beta guy.. I can understand when she was underage when he hired her, but when she turned 18 he should at least tried to show Clara he cared for her in some way instead of a boss.. both were pinning for awhile (this was after she was 18) so idk why both didn’t say anything.. when they finally made a move Jack left making Clara question things.. well both were questioning stuff and it was already 80% of the book… so yeah

Eh. 2.5 ⭐️ This was fine. It’s an age gap where the fmc was a teenage runaway that showed up at the mmc’s bar in need of a job and a place to stay. 4 years later they both are making big heart eyes but don’t think the other would be interested. Then Christmas Eve, it gets steamy. He’s older and sweet. She’s younger and a virgin. It was fine, nothing I will scream that everyone needs to consume. But more like something I will easily forget about.
I like that they both have been pining and this is about the right time for everything to come out. I think she's 22. Not sure how old he is.
But it's just so 0-60 physically. This is a Cassie Mint thing. She always takes it there so fast. And then we get an epilogue with the heroine pregnant. Sometimes it's not great. This one is a fine "snack" of a book but not a favorite.
2.5 stars rounded up because I’m in a festive mood 😂.
A short novella about a young barmaid and an older guy. She’s 22 and he is… not so sure. There were a lot of adjectives describing his age but no number. However, he is starting to look like a silver fox with abs. So the best kind.
Easy read, great as something you might want to read to keep going on your kindle reading streak but you are in a reading slump. That’s the case with me my friends.
This was such a fun Christmas novella! This is about Clara and Jack. Jack hired Clara to work at his bar a few years ago, and ever since then, she has had a huge crush on him. She doesn't know that Jack feels the exact same way. But he has never revealed his feelings because of the age gap between them. On Christmas Eve things happen, and the two finally reveal their feelings for each other.
I thought that this was a super hot, fun, and entertaining Christmas book. I have been in the mood for Christmas novellas, and so this one definitely hit the spot! I would have just loved it more honestly. I wanted more character development and more time between the character's romances. But you're going to get what you get with a novella so 😂
TROPES: age gap, Christmas books, forced proximity, kindle unlimited, novellas
Didn't care for this. She acted like she didn't know what was going on half the time. Didn't care for this. Surprised I have it two stars honestly. However, I want to keep up with this Arthur.
Very short and probably more like an extended sex scene than anything else. But it was well-written and engaging. My biggest quibble is that he's not a real Santa which annoyed me for some reason. If I'm gonna read Santa smexing then I want the real deal not just some dude with a hat 😅
She was a runaway who needed a job and a place to live. He was the bar owner who gave her protection and a roof over her head. She was forever grateful because of it, but there's something beyond that between them. She crushed him hard; a man way older than her. The thing was, he was actually also crushing hard on her. But he kept the distance because of the age and she was scarred barely legal when they met. So four years passed, and came along one opportunity to finally confess.
Cassie was always able to make her story smutty hot, and this one was one of them. The story was actually a claiming moment. I liked how the H kept his distance and protected her while she nursed herself back. She was running away from a bad home situation. And he never asked and gave her time. It was kinda sweet. But when everything was revealed, both really burned the kindle down. A good sweet but steamy read for a one sitting occasion.
Virgin h, Celibate H No condoms Dual PoV, 1st person No cheating, No OW/OM No drama/angst Safe read, HEA, epilogue Overall score: 4 steamy stars
Sub par writing. Not even any shower scenes, just a fade to black... What a let down. Very disappointed in this book, it had such potential! There wasn't any chemistry between characters, and then all of a sudden they were proclaiming their love for each other. The writing and dialogue was awkward and stilted.
Also, what is the obsession with with pom-pom on the hat?! Every few lines they are squeezing it like a stress ball. Weird....
This is what I get for reading smutty Christmas books at 2 AM.
let’s be honest, give me any silver fox in a book and i’m happy
this is a cute little age gap holiday romance between clara and her boss, jack. they both have been pining for each other for years but aren’t sure how the other would feel about it.
not super spicy but the tension is great and it’s a super quick read. i loooove an age gap dynamic and the mmc is a motorcycle riding silver fox who wants to shower her with gifts and praise - where do i sign up?
only 4 stars because i wanted some extra time after they got together
SANTA BABY does not really seem particularly Christmas-y to me outside of the fact that one of the characters buys her boss a Santa hat and we are told it is Christmas Eve. Outside of that, nothing about this seems holiday-related to me. I was not particular drawn to the characters in this one. Our lead male, Jack, is not as burly or alpha as I expected him to be. And our lead female, Clara, seems years younger than her disclosed 22. She seems more than insecure and confused, and her decision to just make a move on her boss, Jack, did not seem authentic or genuine. And Jack sort of treated her as a mix of actual father figure combined with "I will marry you tomorrow if you let me," and none of that really screams spicy to me. The sex scene was a little timid for me and I just couldn't really get into the whole setup. This one will likely work better for readers who enjoy a little more cooing romance than straight up fkathon? I am fine with some insta-romance in stories like these, but even that was a little... too forced and stumbled upon for my taste. There is a HEA as well that may delight some readers.
Clara isn't the only one who wouldn't mind sitting on Santa Jack's lap....
Jack was the best part of this story by far. I wouldn't call him "alpha" though. He was definitely a bit more relaxed than I was anticipating. He craved Clara sure, but not in the aching way I was expecting from the blurb and the comments.
Clara wasn't bad but I felt like she wanted Jack but maybe only because it was a lack of options.
Either way this was an adorable festive Christmas romance about finding love with the person you have been longing for.
It was just fine. Short and nice, but I personally thought the hero was too soft, and that pregnancy kink AGAIN is not doing it for me, luvs. It was actually not dwelling on the Santa theme as much as it could have, and the whole atmosphere was not Christmasy enough, so that’s a shame. Still not bad.
