🔪A weird coincidence ended her getting trapped in a fierce battle between two intelligence agencies- RAW and ISI- a possession of a vital defence asset. She somehow managed to escape, but she was an eye-witness to the twin murder. Another shocking news was that her fingerprints were found on one of the weapons used for murder.
🔪She was chased by the rivals, unaware about it. Alone, battling her predators. She felt like a haunted deer, wary of the hunter shooting her from any dark corner. Tired from being chased down she decided to take on her enemies and find justice.

Unbroken is a story that begins with the protagonist, Roma Anand, a painter who gets involved in uncertain tragic incidences of life that she is completely unaware of. The more she tries focusing on the possibilities and positivity of life, the more she feels trapped between the two worlds of right and wrong.
The circumstances of life are uneven, the roads are zigzag, we never know how much can our love be enough or when will we lose people we think we can't live without. Being adept for those situations is not easy but the heart and life have to go on.
The author has made sure to attract the readers through its thriller pace, do or die situation and also makes us understand to never give up on hope and the faith in oneself.

This story had so many things going on that it took me a while to gather my thoughts about it. No doubt of it being an engaging suspense thriller, this story has weaved multiple subplots together to form the base of the story and even though they made sense as the story progressed, there were times when they appeared detached and unrelated.
I enjoyed the steady pace of the story but there were times when extended detailing seemed to drag the pace for a while. However, the thrill of the chase kind of compensated for the slower pace. The simple language also helped a lot in following the plotline and it also makes this book suitable for all kinds of readers.
What I liked the most about this book is how the character of Roma developed along with the story. The way every situation and circumstance shaped her personality and attitude had me cheering up for her throughout the book. The supporting character of Aditya also added a distinct dimension to the story.
Overall, this was an engaging read, and suspense thriller lovers can surely give this book a try.

What an amazing book it was!! When I started reading i had no clue it would trun out to be such an amazing read. A book with RAW, intelligence and Terrorist operation. I am totally amaze with the story telling skills of Writer. An adventurous journey that took a normal house wife from hongkong to India and unknowingly getting involved with Raw and Terrorist to avange his husband's murder. A must read book.

An Edge-of-the-Seat Thriller
I loved this fast moving crime thriller. It shows how an innocent and simple woman is unwittingly trapped in a web of international espionage and is forced to run for her life. To her dismay, she realises that her predators are professional killers, but she fails to understand why they are after her.
But the best part is when she decides to stop running and take on her predators.
Beautiful story! Full of action and quite cinamatic!
The only risk of reading this book is that you will forget doing anything else till you finish it.

Unbroken is a crime thriller featuring a feisty heroine caught at the wrong place at the wrong time. Roma Anand is a painter who is celebrating the success of her exhibition in Macau. Little does she know that her life is about to take a dark turn when she gets caught in a war between two intelligence agencies- R&AW and ISI, who are after a vital item. Roma becomes an unwilling witness to two murders that night. She is chased endlessly by dangerous people, with no one to shield her from the troubles of the spy world.
But one fine day, she decides to fight back, and now the real chase begins!
What a thrilling read! The author has brought one of the prominent attributes of a spy thriller to life. The thrill of the chase. The hunter becomes the hunted. An unwilling participant is forced to run until she takes a stand. Get these plots right, and you have a heart-racing ride in your hands. I watched a film a few years ago, NH-10. The story is somewhat similar (granted, NH-10 was more bloody). Now imagine the same but on a global scale with operatives instead of rural villains, and you got yourself this book. The characters lend much-needed depth to the narrative. The protagonist is a person with fallacies who steps up in the moment of doubt, with courage and wit. This makes her character and actions relatable because if the reader were in this situation, they would act the same.
The title fits the story. Although the narrative falls short at times to relay a dire situation, emotional or otherwise. But the overall plot makes up for it. The cover is good, although more suited to the horror genre. (I suppose humans can be horrifying).
My rating is 4.5 stars.

After the function she retires to her hotel room just to witness 2 murders in the room. Now she has some unknown people chasing her and trying to kill her. Admist all this her husband gets killed. Roma is continuously running from the killers. The news channels are running news on the same showing Roma in a bad light and labelling her as an ISI agent. All this was not making any sense to Roma. All she had on the mind now was that she had to take revenge for the murder of her husband.
On the other hand there are some people who have hacked the Kampani Defence Research Lab Data Centre. Could this two be related?
Will Roma find out who are the poeple chasing her and why? Will she take revenge from her husband's killer?

The story is like a storm in a teacup. There is so much more to the plot than i could write here. Right from the start the book is interesting and will keep you hooked. The danger, the mystery, the twist and turns builds up the tension well. The pacing is good and had me on the edge of my seat. There was never a dull moment. If you like reading books on espionage along with danger and action then you can definitely read this one.
The language is easy and its not complex and complicated so even a beginner can pick this up given that spy genre interests them.

For Roma, it was a very special day to showcase her artistic talents in one of the ongoing event. But at the end of the, she finds herself trapped in a web of murderers, detectives and RAW agents. She lost her husband- only family member and nowhere to be sheltered.

Well I never expected this book to be power-packed with actions. Right from the beginning it hooked me with its context. The past incidents with regard to her parents was indeed saddening. And the story just went into a flash of multiple twists and turns, thrills and mysteries. Then there are different lives of men woven to form their own stories. Reading this book felt like watching Anurag Kashyap's Ludo. Every individual had their own set of moments and lives expressed with different chapters. These obviously holded some connections with each other.

It's gripping enough to not let you move from your seats. As for Roma, I was pitying on her situation. At the same time I had to take breaks from reading. Because I wasn't at all ready to face what's coming onto her life next. And on the top of that you can't even guess a single little thing on the book. The word building was way more creative and enthralling. I liked how the little things were expressed in the book, be it the feelings or any new place and surroundings.

Also, I would like to mention about the printing and page qualities. They were excellent. What disappointed me was with the binding. @notion.press please take care of it. Because at the end of the reading I had bunch of loose pages and not a whole book.

The story begins with intro of Indian origin Hong Kong settled artist and art critic Roma Anand. Roma is a beautiful and emotionally spontaneous young woman who leads a happy life with her loving and caring husband Vivek Anand. Roma costs visits Macau for to participate a week-long Vibrant India Festival. Here she meets Krishh, an Indian non-Islamic popular Urdu poetry, this accidental meet changes everything in her life.
Parlally back in India DRDO works with Kampani Defence Research Lab (private lab) on an advanced espionage weapon. Suddenly one night the labs firewall is breached and important information are hacked by a dark web operator Master.
Are these two events different or are connected in any way?
Where are the missing drives of Kampani Defence Research Lab?
Who is Aditya and how is he connected with all this?
Who is Roma - a victim, an assassin or a double agent?
I have read this crime and espionage stories but for the first time grabbed a tale where a normal civilian (or two) is/are forced to fight against government agencies and international crime. In this story Roma or Vivek or Aditya never expected/desired to face situations they are forced into. First while starting I felt Indian agencies are protrayed in an improper way but with the flow the reader will realise it takes time to decipher the darkness. I liked the end where the criminal were terminated, abrupt end was different something I felt right. Why to tire the judiciary for terrorists? All in all the book is a thrilling journey in an easy pace.

This was such a good thrilling read, with so many storylines, and so many characters and how this all mingled together at the end is something amazingly done by the author. I loved the narration and the strong portrayal of the protagonists. I really enjoyed how easy it was to get immersed in the story and the world that the author created.
The chase, the run against time and well, assassins are so thrilling they kept me on my toes throughout. Once you start reading this one and get the gist of the characters and story, you won't be able to stop. So this one totally worked wonders for me. Highly recommended.

“Unbroken” is one of the best mystery thrillers that I have read in recent times. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat and is definitely a page-turner. The plot primarily revolves around Roma Anand who is a well-known painter and celebrating the success of her painting exhibition in Macau. But simply due to a sheer coincidence, she gets caught in the crosshairs of a battle between the world’s two most dreaded agencies - RAW and ISI for possession of a vital defense asset. How she faces the circumstances following this incident forms the main core of this book.
The book also highlights an important aspect that we should never lose hope and give up in difficult situations. We think that we can’t live without people we love but someday we will lose them and life has to go on. So we need to be strong and adept in handling these strenuous situations.
Though it’s a fiction read that will keep you enthralled till the very end of the book. It has dollops of action, suspense, thrill, etc. sprinkled along with the story. This is a very intense and engaging read with lots of twists and turns that will send shivers down your spine. While looking forward for crime-thriller genre book i was suggested this book "Unbroken" by Pawan Kumar Verma. This book counterbalances every elements with some mist in it, it covers poly genres like love, crime, thriller, mystery. And on the layout of these book build's it's pillars of story.
So coming to the book , story line it introduces a painter who is also our lead character Roma Anand. She is contended with her normal life but things turned to be prevailing , just when she was enjoying her painting exhibition held at macau which has been carried out marvellously till that time. She gets pissed off in between battle of R&AW and ISI. This was because she saw 2 murders consecutively , and if this wasn't enough for the day she somehow gets her fingerprint on the murder weapon. To me it seemed as she was framed but story narrated something out of line!
You wanna, know just grab your copy.

"Unbroken",has everything you need to hook yourself with it. From crime thriller and suspense packed story to love and hate kinda plot,the book is filled with literally everything. I was intrigued to read this one because of the fabulous cover,I mean doesn't it appeals you?
The story starts with our protagonist Roma Anand,who is a painter and was excited for celebration of her successful exhibition,untill baggage of things take turns and she is somehow stucked in a murder...
The storyline is very unique and totally engaging. The character development has made total justice with the story and the plot and twist really keeps you hooked.
Loved the detailed narrative style of the author which intensifies the thing more.
The cover and the title totally suits the story and my choice of picking it up was indeed worth everything.

All of the books come up with a tale to narrate. This one comes up with a visualisation to showcase to the readers out there waiting for a new dimension like world of adventure to witness. Books on suspense in the modern era are quite common but what succeeds is the unique turning point of a book which actually depends on the way a particular plotline has been executed. I found the book to be interesting enough for its portrayal of scenes in the book right from the murder which takes place, is like a hurrying scenario where things rush and the reader has the complete focus stuck to the scenes taking place in Roma's side. I found the conversation sections to be worth the read as the things in the book appear to be natural and makes one believe in things like tales on real life incidents manage to. Over-all the book easily captivates the reader and grabs the attention which I feel is a thing matters the most at the end to a reader in terms of expectation from a book.

She was a happy artist until that night because destiny kept something very terrible for her. She unknowingly got involved in a murder case between RAW and ISI . Now the whole thing became a game for life with her as she was chased by many organisations . Overnight her whole life got upside down when her husband was murdered . This book really gets interesting with every single page . Will she be able to escape ? Will she get justice ? Find your answers by buying one copy of the book .
