Another great story in the Aspen Pack world! I can always count on Carrie Ann Ryan to deliver on everything I love about the mated tropes, possessive alpha heroes, strong heroines, dynamic pack dynamics, amazing steam, and adrenaline packed story lines! This was a fast-paced and fun read, and I've not read a ton of fated mate type stories that involve a THROUPLE- so I really enjoyed her take on it. Great addition to this series!

Mated in Chaos is the third book in the adult paranormal romance series called Aspen Pack by Carrie Ann Ryan. Though this is the third book in the series, it can be read by itself, because each of the books follows a different couple. While I didn't have any trouble picking up and diving into this world when I started with book two, I think I might recommend reading the books in order because you will learn more background on the various packs and the ties and issues between them. Not reading book one didn't hinder my ability to read and enjoy books 2 and 3, but I do kind of wish I had read them in order because I can tell there is a plot thread that was continued from the first book and will continue on in the next book.
Mated by Chaos is the story of Cole, Adalyn and Nico. Cole is the alpha of the central pack, which is cool because it puts the focus on a different pack than the last story. I really am enjoying watching more pieces of the larger world fall into place. Cole has always been drawn to Adalyn and Nico but he has always assumed that the two of them were destined for each other and not for him. Mated in Chaos features a throuple, which is always unique and I dug their story.
This is a great series if you are a fan of fated mates, shifter romances and possessive heroes. I can't wait to read the other books in the Aspen Pack series! In addition to the romance, there is also a lot of action that takes place in this installment. The central pack is also known as the cursed ones, and they are not short on enemies. This book felt explosive from the first page to the last and I loved how fast paced and action packed it was. This was a great installment in the Aspen Pack series, and I can't wait for more.

Cole is the Alpha of the Central Pack and he feels like he has so much to atone for. He never expected to find his mate, much less two. Adalyn and Nico have felt a connection with each other, but something is not quite right. Enter Cole.
The chemistry between these characters was hot and steamy, even when they were figuring things out. Their journey is slow burning as they get to know each other, what they feel is undeniable and their mating may just change things to come. I loved watching these three come together and find their strength individually and together. I devoured this story from start to finish and am a big fan for this series!

Mated in Chaos is the next book in the Aspen Pack series and focuses on Cole, the Alpha of the Centrals, as well as Nico from the Redwoods and Adalyn from the Aspen Pack😍
The vampires are at it again and once again all Packs are on the defensive and trying to fight the onslaught of attacks that the vampires keep lobbing at them😢 At the end of one of their fights, the moon goddess snaps into place the triad bonds for Cole. Adalyn and Nico and force them to face their new reality during this time of war😳
A fabulous action packed story and an ending I didn’t see coming…plus a hint as to who’s up next to mate😉

I originally read an ARC of Mated in Chaos by Carrie Ann Ryan, so when I had an opportunity to listen to it, I jumped at the chance. Narrated by Aiden Snow, Tim Paige, and Kit Swann, this is part of the Aspen Pack series and gives us an emotional and exciting story with so many surprises. Cole is the Alpha of the Central Pack and he feels like he has so much to atone for. He never expected to find his mate, much less two. Adalyn and Nico have felt a connection with each other, but something is not quite right. Enter Cole.
The chemistry between these characters was hot and steamy, even when they were figuring things out. This was the best of both worlds, no it's the best of three worlds because we have Cole Levin The Alpha of the Central Pact, Adalyn Anthea who is part of the Aspen Pact, and Nico Jamenson who is part of the Redwood Pact come together as one unit. Their fated mates whose bonding is forced upon them by the moon goddess and while it stuns all three of them including their individual pacts everyone soon discovers the strength in this bond.
I am really enjoying this series, there is a common thread that runs through each of the books so while each one focuses on a different couple or triad I would highly suggest reading them in the order they have been released. There is a war being fought and you won't want to miss a moment of it.

Cole is the Alpha of the Central Pack. Like Chase, Cole was a new Alpha but he wasn't as strong and not just in strength. The Central Pack was the smallest of the packs and their bonds and magic had been stripped by the moon goddess after she had nearly died defending the pack after the previous Alpha had opened the portal to the demon Caym and used black magic in a war against the other packs.
Unlike the other packs who lived in their dens and were self-efficient, most of the Central Pack lived in the city with the humans as it was safer for them to blend. The Talons and Redwoods Packs were the most powerful of the alliance as their bonds were becoming stronger as they mated across pack lines.
But the moon goddess had changed the mating rules and it could be centuries before you found your mate. No longer was there an immediate connection letting you know that you had found your mate. And although the moon goddess restored the Central Packs bonds and overnight he found himself as Alpha.
Now he had been blessed with two potential mates, but he knew that as Alpha he could only have one mate, but refused to choose between them.
Niko was different from most shifters are he was the son of the Redwood Triad so he had the power of three. He was not only a wolf but an elemental witch which made him faster than the other wolves, witches and humans.
Adalyn was a hunter with the Alpha Pack and was one that the pack protected because she was a cat shifter...a cougar. She had once been blessed with a prospective mate, but he hadn't picked her and had instead become a traitor alongside Blade. And now the moon goddess had blessed her again, but she wasn't falling for her tricks again to just be turned away especially since she is now given two prospective mates.
I loved this book! It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This is book three of the Aspen Pack series and I suggest that you start with book one even though this book has its own HEA. The characters are recurring and the main storyline continues throughout the series as the packs fight again the vampires who are determined to still their magic and take over the human realm.
This book is action-packed, full of danger and suspense and smoking hot. This is a poly-romance so beware if that's not your thing, but the moon goddess had a reason for putting these three together. Highly recommend this series and can't wait to read more!

These three certainly didn’t do things the easy way! That just made when things worked out all the more emotional and wonderful <3 Denial, fear, confusion, and anger rule the interactions of this not-courtship. Even when fate intervenes, the rocky moments are still the norm. But, as things do, acceptance, calm, clarity, and peace settle in and take hold, along with letting loose the love they have all been holding back. During it all, they are fighting for their lives, literally, and finding their place in the worlds, big and small. Full of action, full of heat, full of bonds, this was a great read!

I was Very Quickly wrapped up in this Story from the get-go! I never wanted it to End. The Tension between the three was so so Good. Just enough drama, Action-packed, breath-stealing danger to keep you on the edge of your seat! I do warn You tho, this Book has major, mega feels. I laughed and cried.
Can They figure out the future and keep the pack safe or will they lose it All? I can't wait to Read more in this series.. Definitely Your Next 5 ⭐ Read..

Even though this is Aspen series is mostly about Central pack and the new mated trio that was part of other packs.
Absolutely love that all the members of the trio are part of other packs that mate into central.
This book feels more like a plodder book a bit of action but more about the mating which isn’t bad but doesn’t develop the vampire story much.
Absolutely love Carrie Ann Ryan and her shifter series can’t believe how many have come since redwood series
Carrie Ann Ryan picks the best audio narrator’s definitely worth the cost to listen to these fantastic voices bringing these amazing books to life

The war with the vampires is really heating up. As Alpha of the Central Pack, Cole has been trying to rebuild his pack. He gets the mating urge whenever he is around Adalyn and Nico, but he knows that an Alpha only gets one mate. It seems that every time they take a step ahead in the war, they fall two steps back due to new magic. While they are fending off the vampires, Cole, Adalyn and Nico are thrust in to a mating where they need to figure out their places in the pack. Lots of great standoffs between the packs and the vampires. The end was a dramatic and there were some major surprises thrown in. Really looking forward to what happens next.

This book had everything: twists and turns, scorching heat, emotion, pain, and a satisfying ending. Cole, Nico, and Adalyn’s story was a great addition to this series and if you’re a reader who has followed from the first wolf shifter book then you’ll notice a rules are changing and I’m excited to see what these changes are going to mean. A great read.

Audiobook review
This is another good story in the Aspen pack series. The three major characters have always felt something for each other but each one has their own reasons to believe that they are not worthy of the other two but when the three are thrust into mating their world is turned upside down. The enemies are not stopping and always seem to be one step ahead. How can they think of mating with the threat of Valec constantly looming over them?
I enjoyed seeing these three find their way. Cole is the alpha on the Central pack and has so much on his shoulders but he soon finds that his mates are ones that he needs to lean on. Adalyn and Nico are both alpha wolves yet the pull to Cole is just as strong as the one to each other. The three have a lot to learn as they fight the enemy and learn to find just how they fit together. The bond that they share is strong and it was nice to watch it turn to love. While I am loving each pairing in this series, I am not a fan of the vampire enemies. The action is well written but the big vampire characters did nothing for me. Every time Valec or his mate were the focus I lost interest as their characters seemed to annoy me. The war that is happening between the vampires and the wolves is an interesting plot it is just these characters for me. The author does a good job of moving this story along with each book and has readers eager to find out what will happen next in this world. Narrators Aiden Snow, Tim Paige and Kit Swan to a nice job of bringing these characters and their world to life. As you listen you can hear and feel the emotions of the characters.
This is another good story in the Aspen pack series. The three major characters have always felt something for each other but each one has their own reasons to believe that they are not worthy of the other two but when the three are thrust into mating their world is turned upside down. The enemies are not stopping and always seem to be one step ahead. How can they think of mating with the threat of Valec constantly looming over them?
I enjoyed seeing these three find their way. Cole is the alpha on the Central pack and has so much on his shoulders but he soon finds that his mates are ones that he needs to lean on. Adalyn and Nico are both alpha wolves yet the pull to Cole is just as strong as the one to each other. The three have a lot to learn as they fight the enemy and learn to find just how they fit together. The bond that they share is strong and it was nice to watch it turn to love. While I am loving each pairing in this series, I am not a fan of the vampire enemies. The action is well written but the big vampire characters did nothing for me. Every time Valec or his mate were the focus I lost interest as their characters seemed to annoy me. The war that is happening between the vampires and the wolves is an interesting plot it is just these characters for me. **Audiobook Review**
The heat, steam and thrill was turned up for this one! “Mated in Chaos” is a steamy, emotional and action packed fated mates shifter romance that I devoured in just one sitting because I was pulled into Cole, Nico and Adalyn’s love story.
Cole is the Alpha for the Central Pack and he works hard to protect his pack from any outside threats, especially from the ones that they are currently fighting. Cole has always been attracted to both Nico and Adalyn but has stayed away because he thought they were fated mates. Their goddess has other ideas and lets them know not so subtly that the three of them together are fated mates. However, a darker power that lost their mate in a previous battle is out to ruin their HEA.
I loved, loved Cole, Nico and Adalyn’s story so much. I was pulled in immediately with the pull they had towards each other and thank goddess she stepped in to help them find their way to each other. Cole is a great alpha and I loved his take charge attitude. Adalyn is a dominant and I loved that about her. She was the perfect match to have two fated mates who wanted to nurture and protect her, when had been doing that for herself for years and could take care of herself. I loved Nico who is a shifter and an elements witch, the best of both worlds. The three of them had off the charts chemistry and those steamy scenes with all 3 or just 2 together, were some of the hottest.
Aiden Snow, Tim Paige and Kit Swann were AMAZING as Cole, Nico and Adalyn. Each brought so much to each character and were the perfect choice. Their voices complimented each other and I enjoyed this audio so much,

Cole doesn’t feel like he has anything to bring to the table. It’s sad when the man who's in charge feels helpless. The reader will see his vulnerability coming off the page. Adalyn shows that it’s not always the men who are clueless. At times she seemed a little lost. Nico shows how some men can’t show emotions – they feel that they must keep them buried inside.
This is a great book to relax with. Even though there’s some enemy action going on, you will find yourself getting sucked into the story that you might feel part of the pack. If you’ve already stepped into the Aspen Pack world, then this is a great addition. If this is your first book, you won’t feel lost but hopefully it’s an incentive to read what you may have missed.

Triads are the best
Cole is the alpha of the decimated and rebuilding Centrals (wolf shifters). He's sure that the two people he's attracted to, Adalyn and Nico, can't possibly be his fated mates as alpha's aren't in triads.
Well the moon goddess has a surprise in store for all three of them and forces their mating. She's got plans and things need to happen and Cole, Nico and Addy weren't falling in line.
This is book 3 in the Aspen Pack series. It is a stand alone and doesn't need to be read in order. But I do reccomend you do so because of the over arching plot line going on, you'll have a better understaning of it if you read the previous books first.
It's a wonderfully written work. The characters are all loveable and sometimes, like in real life, you want to just shake them and tell them "Stop being stupid" lol. They make mistakes and have to find their way when things change between them suddenly. But they're all strong, smart and sassy and with dedication and support from their loved ones they'll find their way.
They have a lot going on and a threat that is making life for all the packs difficult. We don't see the resolution of the overarching plot in this work so we know there's more to come ... and I can't wait.

Moon Goddess is just throwing surprises left and right that has everyone stunned.
The vampires are out to destroy the wolves.
And the packs are scrambling with the goddess’s choices and the vampires powers.
Yes it’s a right mess.
And I loved reading every second of it.
I adorned Cole, Adalyn and Nico. What a perfect trifecta.
Their strength complimented each other.
Their vulnerabilities brought out the protective side of the other.
The action is nonstop.
I was nervously reading wanting to get to the next page immediately to see how things would turn out.
The steam and spice is delicious and hot.
The three of them learning and navigating around each other was at times unpredictable but also heartwarming.
Their chemistry cannot be denied. It was there even before the goddess deemed them mates.
The passion and lust between them sizzles and ignites off the page, it’s hot and sexy.
I didn’t read the previous two books in the series.
But had absolutely zero problems with reading book 3.
Ms. Ryan explains and gives enough details and descriptions to readers of who each character is and some background information on them as well. I never felt lost or clueless.
But I will definitely go and read the previous books just because this series is so riveting.
And I am absolutely looking forward to reading Harbored in Silence!

In this book we have Cole Levin the Alpha of the Centrals. The Centrals are known as the Cursed Ones because of the things their pack did years ago. Although it wasn’t Cole’s fault they still didn’t receive any blessings from the Moon Goddess because of the mistakes of others.
He never thought he would find his mate until Adalyn Anthea (an Aspen hunter) and Nico Jamenson (a Redwood and from the leading family) came along. Both of whom have known one another for a while and had been flirting with each other. However, neither Athena nor Nico would take things further because something was missing. I always love when Carrie Ann Ryan does a triad and this one is a good one.
Of course meeting Cole doesn’t make any of them realize just what the Moon goddess is trying to tell them. Sometimes she has to take matters into her own hands and make them pay attention.
This is a wonderful read as always. I love the idea of mates and as I said Carrie Ann Ryan does a great job of triads. Add in the action and suspense of what is going to happen and you get an amazing addition to the series.

I was so happy to final get to have a true Central Pack story. This was quite the doozie of a story that is for sure. We have all the crazy action and twists and turns of the never ending battle with the vampires. Just when we think that we have a good handle on the situation they get the rug pulled out from under them. But our new alliances and pack dynamics bring about some interesting things to the mix. I love how the story is evolving in terms of that power struggle and it is just so engaging. I never know what is going to happen which is awesome. Now to our awesome and fabulous stars of the show. The three of them Cole, Adalyn and Nico have been friends for many years but there has always been something brewing underneath but none of them had the guts to do anything about it. When the mating bond is forced upon the three of them they are literally thrown into the deep end on how to be together in a relationship. Oh yeah by the way this is all happening in the middle of an active war, they are trying to figure out how they all jell together it is funny and beautiful watching them find their footing. They realize that as they go they all balance each other out beautiful, they were all meant to be together to start with. Even with all the curveballs that get thrown their way they figure out how to make it work. I can’t wait for the next book and couple in the series.

This one was soo good! I really enjoyed this story and getting these three to finally come together. We have seen them dancing around each other and flirting in the previous stories. This time, their hands get forced since they were tiptoeing around and not really communicating between the three of them. They were all drawn to one another and no one wanted to choose only one and with Cole being an alpha they didn't think a triad was an option until it was thrust upon them. I loved watching them try and find the balance between what was going on around them and within their relationship. Choices were sped up and seemingly forced which had them attempting to play catch up with communication and intentions. This story definitely has twists involved regarding the action and what our pack is able to figure out with the vampires and their magic as well as a big one at the end. This story flowed really well and was really easy to read because of that. It has a great blend of the relationship building and the action/intrigue that keeps the story moving at a good pace without moving too fast. I can't wait for the next book and to see what is coming!

Over time their feelings for each other have grown, but they have danced around each other denying their attraction to each other. Cole, Adalyn, and Nico work together to fight off the threat vampires while protecting their pack. How will Cole, Adalyn, and Nico react when the mating bond is forced upon them by the Moon Goddess? Will Cole, Adalyn, and Nico realize their bond makes them stronger for each other and for their pack? Can the Packs get the witches to help fight the vampires? Can Cole, Adalyn, and Nico survive the danger that Vlac poises as he seeks revenge for the killing of his mate? I loved Mated in Chaos by Carrie Ann Ryan. Cole, Adalyn, and Nico complemented each other and learned they could be vulnerable with each other. Their chemistry is HOT, HOT, HOT! Mated in Chaos has danger, intrigue, steam, chemistry, and action. Mated in Chaos has twists and turns that will keep the reader on the edge of their seat with a shocking surprise of who has been betraying the shifters. I would highly recommend getting Mated in Chaos and the other books in the Aspen Pack series by Carrie Ann Ryan. I received an ARC copy of this book, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

Another fabulous shifter story by Carrie Ann Ryan. This is book three in her Aspen Pack Series. This book had all the feels, the action and danger, and even a forced mating bond by the Moon Goddess. The main characters that Carrie created for us in this new addition to the series were absolutely incredible.

Thinking that they were fated for each other he stayed away and his wolf hid that they were truly his fated mates. So when the Moon Goddess forces their bond they are unsure of how to navigate their new relationship. So as they continue to fight the war they also have to learn to balance each other out and grow together as they learn to be together. Their story truly is a beautiful story and the way they bond and connect will truly pull at your heart.
Their story is beautiful and they will even have you laughing and catching feelings. This is a definite must read and I can’t wait for the next book and new couple. Highly recommend this and the rest of books in series.

Engaging with a lot of action!
This is the third book in the Aspen pack series, but is heavily connected to the other pack series books that Carrie Ann Ryan has written. I loved that this one was a triad/poly relationship and different from some of the most recent books in the series. Adalyn, Cole and Nico had all felt the attraction to each other but were confused by it, since Alpha's typically only have a single mate. Mated Chaos is aptly named as everything about their situation is chaotic and fast, along with the larger situation their packs are going through. Although these books could be read as a standalone, I found it really helpful that I had read so many of the others because we have met Adalyn, Cole and Nico before. I very much enjoyed their romance and how different it was from previous matings in the series, but I also wish we had more time with them and their relationship and less on the larger war their packs are fighting. This was an intense book with a lot of action and a lot happening at a fast pace, which made for an engaging story and a fast read.

This is the third book in the series. They should be read in order. While I still feel like I am missing some things I love this series. I haven’t read any of the other shifter books Carrie has written. The book focuses more on the central pack than the aspen pack. Cale, Nico, and Adalyn have been attracted to each other for some time. Each for their own reason haven’t come towards each other to complete the bonding. Cole believes that they can’t be his because he is an alpha, Adalyn has been hurt before and doesn’t want to risk it again, and Nico believes because no one has come towards him that they aren’t his. Well, the Moon Goddess has had enough. She forces a mating in a way she has never done before. They figure they must need to be together for some reason. Now the three of them must figure out how their mating will work. The packs are still being attacked by the vampires as well. They must figure out how to stop them before they lose more people. This book was a fantastic read. I am loving the series more and more with each book. I have added the other shifter books by Carrie to my TBR list. I can’t wait to read them. Cole, Nico, and Adalyn are perfect for each other. They all fit together and fill in where the others need. They are the first alpha triad. Fantastic job Carrie. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

Love these series so much. The continuation of the story is seemless, the characters are each unique and always true to themselves.
