The Vampire King

This is the story which introduces us to the Moretti family. A family of royal vampires. It has everything I love about this authors books. It has passion, love and lots of sex. This book has an ending you won’t expect. I loved it and cannot wait for Brayden’s story so I can continue with the Moretti’s story.

This is the introduction into the Morretti family. Like Juliette's other books, it is fun, exciting, deliciously naughty and full of twists and turns!

The story started off interesting for me but there were some holes in the story. It mentioned Bram Stoker but then he just disappeared. The story was kind of disjointed because it kind of jumped around. I think this could have used a prologue to set up the ending.
Also, I really, really, really did not like or appreciate the "promise". It was extremely selfish and after the amount of time I feel it was silly and unwarranted. It did not feel to me as the reader, like an act of true love.
The heat level was 🔥🔥. This one was just a meh for me, as I feel it had potential but left too many questions unanswered. I'm not too sure if I want to read the next book to find out.

Juliette's writing flows well and this is a wonderful intro to her new series.

Juliet has a way of writing, in that you immediately connect with her characters. At any given time I was chuckling, excited, anxious, and even feeling gut wrenching sadness! I found myself reading faster and faster just so I could find out what happens next!! The Vampire King introduces you to the Moretti's world, and they are definitely a family you will want to know more about.
Patiently...ok IMPATIENTLY ...awaiting Brayden in The Vampire Prince to come along and sweep me back into their world. Bravo Juliette! ❤

If you love J.R.Ward or Jeanine Frost then I would so suggest for you to read up The Vampire King. The Vampire King is a passionate, hot, steamy and sexy short story you do not want to miss. I love love love the whole story line. Amazing introduction to our moretti brothers. Thank you juliette banks. You are an amazing writer, love your writing style and I can't wait for the Moretti Brothers Books to be published.

This book is a must read! We all love to read about hot men but this book is filled with hot vampires which makes it even hotter. Juliette is such an amazing person and author that puts so much time and passion into her books. She is definitely an author you will want to follow because you will not want to miss what she does next. I won’t put any spoilers here because I hate them. Y’all enjoy!!

I love this book so much. All of the characters and learning more about everyone. It's got just the right balance with drama, action, and romance. I can't wait to see what else is in store for the brother's and their friends and family.

Amazing start to a series of Alpha vampires. Bank's style is easy to read and is addictive. I'm looking forward to reading the other books in the series. This is a prequel novella to the series.

Great prequel novella to introduce Morretti brothers from a new author!
If you love alpha vampires this is solid gold!
Not a slow burn but straight into it from the start, great action and enjoyable sex scenes.

I seriously recommend this book and author. This is a prequel novella for The Moretti Blood Brothers that gives you the back story on Vincent & Brayden's parents, the King & Queen, before Vincent becomes King. It was as great as everything else I've read of hers. Super great getting some backstory. I can be a sap but not sure what I was thinking. Read it in one sitting but probably shouldn't gave right before bed. No spoiling but I was a blubbering fool, should'veseen that coming lol. I can't wait for the next book to be finished. I'm completely in love w/Prince Brayden. Give this one a shit, you won't be disappointed but you will be hooked. Juliette Banks is a new fave of mine!

Sexy, adventurous Vampire royalty. A compelling family drama that draws you in. A lingering sense of wanting to read more and more so you can figure out all of their secrets? YES! Juliette has managed to fit in all of that and way more in this introduction to the Moretti world. I've never read anything of hers yet that has failed to take me on a sexy and intriguing visual journey. This is one of her best yet!

Sloppy and inconsistent. I don’t require a very deep and thorough research but a basic fact checking should be a minimal decency for an author. And 1892 is not 20th century ffs.

When I initially started reading romance, it was all paranormal, and somehow I transitioned to contemporary and never looked back. Until now. Until this book. And I was woefully unprepared for this book.
This one introduces us to the Moretti family of vampire royals in the early 20th century. The king and queen have been married for a thousand years, but the oldest heir, Vincent, has been groomed to take his place on the throne should that be necessary. He has yet to find his mate and seal the deal, but it looks like the lovely Kate will be the one for him.
And then we have the randy prince who's a warrior in the Moretti army, at least when he can manage to keep his breeches buttoned. He's a bit of an equal-opportunity debaucher and loves a good group debauchery party when royal duties aren’t intruding.
Truthfully, some of this wasn’t for me (see above debauchery reference) but no matter, I quickly got drawn into the Moretti web and the stellar writing. Now I’m hopelessly tangled and absolutely have to know what happens with this family.
With the same chemistry and steam you love in a Kenyon or Ward book, Banks sets her series apart with a royal family, an insouciant prince, and a timeline spanning centuries. Jump in here at the beginning with me, and let’s find out what comes next for the Morettis.

This is a short and sexy introduction to the Moretti family, who are vampire royalty. This novella has a little bit of everything: sexy vampires, bloody action (not too gory, don't worry), fated mates, plenty of steam and some tugging on those heart strings.
In this novella, you get to meet the Moretti family but the focus is on the king and queen. The king and queen have an interesting story, it has such a mixture of emotions to it; love, hatred, sadness, betrayal and a deep connection. While we get some background on the king and queen's relationship and how it began, we don't really get to delve into that backstory too much, but I'm really hoping the author might expand at a later date because I'd love to read that story unfold from the beginning! (Hint hint)
I'm looking forward to delving into Vincent and Brayden's stories! Definitely recommend this one to all vampire romance lovers.

This is a paranormal vampire romance novella that introduces you to the king, queen and their sons. It’s a short read full of hot, steamy, sweet moments that you’ll get addicted to.
I cannot wait to read Vincent’s and braydens stories after reading that little teaser of a book. This will make you want the full length books even more quicker like it did for me.

J'ai trouvé cette lecture perturbante. On passe du coq à l'âne au niveau des dates. 1891, puis 800 et 2021 ?? Il faut vraiment suivre.
Et puis, la relation entre les parents ?? Si ce n'est pas de la toxicité, je ne sais pas ce que c'est...
