I enjoyed most of this story. I didn't like when it got "creepy". A cruel man fantasizing,wanting to "have/hurt ladies" - that part turned me off. Made my skin crawl. (skipped a few pages there).
Apart from that, it was enjoyable to read. A lovely proposal and acceptance at the end. 5☆

It is Nikki Tyler's turn to fall in love. Only she chose to fall in love with a Hollywood actor who she is is sure will go back to Hollywood. After all, that is where Hunter Clark belongs. He is a sought-after Hollywood actor who just wants to write his own movies and open his own production company. But first, he is slated to make a docudrama about the Tyler family and Nikki was nominated to help him because she is writing her own book about what happened during the filming of the movie that most of the Tyler's were involved in. Of course, the road to love in Masterson is never easy and full of deceit and lecherous villains. Nikki has eye problems and three older very overprotective brothers who are hell-bent on protecting her. They provide some comic relief.
I really like this series and Nikki is a wonderful character. She is smart, a little shy at times, a little less confident in her writing skills, but she is real. She "sees" Hunter for who he really is and not the persona he projects on the screen. He in turn does the same for her, he understands her and loves her even if he is a bonehead about it for a while.
Ms. Bookes' books are full of action and suspense that keep me coming back for more. I love the characters and she catches us up on ones that had already had their stories. There are a few hints and who may be the next one but then again they are just so many Tylers and Tally's who knows! I just know that I can't wait to find out who is next to fall in love.

Meaning in Masterson😍
Meaning in Masterson is the next book in the Masterson County series and did not disappoint❣️Nikki is a Tyler and one of her family members asked her to help Hunter with a script for a screenplay. When Hunter arrives in town it’s to find he’s staying with the one woman he hasn’t been able to forget since he was in Masterson last😳
A great story once again, with lots going on and multiple interconnecting characters but makes these books all the more unique and intriguing…can’t wait for more❤️

Couldn't put it down!
Every time I finish one of Calle's books...no matter which series it is...I come away with the feeling that this was one of the best books I've read. Meaning in Masterson brought me that same feeling.
I love that Nikki found her HEA in this book...I have been waiting for her to get her story for a while.
Now to wait to see who will get their story next...

Great read
This totally went in a different direction than I thought! Nikki and Clark made it for themselves! The Talleys, Tylers, and Mastersons are a family that most of us only dream of having! Enjoy! Until the next one comes out. I'm curious as to how Ben and Dusty get along or it might be Fletcher !

sometimes
Sometimes you can have an opinion on how you are perceived and I do. I know I get a look now and then but then they see how clumsy and how I need just such a pair of glasses that are like goggles. No one wants a gal like me.
