Ivy Layne has had her nose stuck in a book since she first learned to decipher the English language. Sometime in her early teens, she stumbled across her first Romance, and the die was cast. Though she pretended to pay attention to her creative writing professors, she dreamed of writing steamy romance instead of literary fiction. These days, she’s neck deep in alpha heroes and the smart, sexy women who love them.

Married to her very own alpha hero (who rubs her back after a long day of typing, but also leaves his socks on the floor). Ivy lives in the mountains of North Carolina where she and her other half are having a blast raising two energetic little boys. Hands down this is my favorite book in the Winters/Sinclair series. The pacing and development of Knox and Lily's relationship was perfect. Both were sympathetic and likable characters. The Sinclair's father (Maxwell) and his various evil doings have been slowly teased and pieced together since early on in the Winters series. This one moved the story arc forward considerably and gave me a lot of satisfaction we're getting answers and close to a resolution.

I think it would be difficult to read as a stand-alone. It runs parallel to the end of the last book with Evers/Summer. Although Violet (Aiden's book) isn't directly mentioned, there's a direct link to her story. Given that, I was disappointed Violet didn't make an appearance, but it was great to see Charlie and Lucas (who works for Sinclair Security).

Lately, I've been skimming a lot of books and thinking I need to take a book break. I found myself reading every word and was so engrossed I almost fell off the couch when my oven buzzer went off seconds before the bomb exploded. Scared my poor husband.

This book for me was like opening a Pandora's box that is as I submerged myself into the story, a series of twists opened up before my eyes. I don't want to share the entire story because I would ruin all the anticipation but what I loved most of this book where mainly the characters and their love in its entirety. The story is fast paced, there is actually never a moment in which boredom could likely permeate. Knox is the quietest of the Sinclairs and when he meets Lily, he realizes that he is a goner. One thing initially tears them apart and that is a mutual trust but as events unravel both characters will come to terms with their uncertainties and finally they will let go of their prejudices. Basically this is one of those books that once you put it down, it stays imprinted into your mind.

Ivy Layne writes in-depth story lines and Undone is no exception. I have always loved her character development, the complexity of the relationships and the interaction with many supporting characters, all with a touch of mystery that continues from book to book to book. And she writes about family relationships we all wish we had.

Lily Spencer and Knox Sinclair first came to our attention in Ivy Layne’s first installment of her Untangled Series entitled Unraveled. By the end of Unraveled (a book about Evers Sinclair and Summer), Knox was already knee-deep in his relationship with Lily and that’s about all we know. Now, Ivy Layne has given us Undone, her second book in the series that focus on Knox Sinclair and Lily Spencer and the Sinclair sons and their security company. And if you are a fan of the Winters Family and their saga, we get to see snippets of our Winters family favorites from time to time.

Lily is a widow with a young son named Adam. Her deceased husband has been a mystery and Lily is now aware of just how much she does not know about what he did and who he was. Strange things are happening in her life that scare and concern her and she was advised by her deceased husband to call Sinclair Security if she is concerned. She makes the call and Knox Sinclair shows up on her doorstep to figure things out…..not only for Lily but for his family as well.

Knox is immediately “taken” not only with Lily, but her young son Adam. But Knox is also cautious. He doesn’t know how involved Lily is/was with her deceased husband’s activities/business, and unbeknownst to Lily, her deceased husband is also linked to the Sinclair brothers’ shyster father. To say there is a lot to figure out is an understatement!

And Lily? She is surprised at how easy it is to be around Knox. How caring and considerate he is. And before long it is apparent to the reader that these two are falling head over heels in love with each other, but when you add a 5 year old to the mix, it can be a tricky terrain to manage.

This is the first romance story that Ivy has written that involves a widow with a child. It was refreshing to see that you don't have to be young, single and amazingly attractive to find love. A different twist to her normal story line but one that I enjoyed reading.

This was good. I like it. Not as crazy as Unraveled but still had a good amount of suspense. Undone is the second installment in Untangled series which focuses on Knox Sinclair and Lily Spencer's romance.

The story and the action that came with it were intense to read. The mystery leading to Lily's late husband Trey and his son Adam will urged you to kept reading until the end. Knox and Lily's story was sweet and the relationship formed between them were heartwarming. Knox is one admirable character. I really like how protective he is to Lily and Adam. This was a one real good family story, to be honest.

Looking forward to Cooper's story!

Sinclair brother, Knox, gets his full turn. No little glimpses or side views. We get his whole story. And Ms. Lily was along for the journey. It was enjoyable to watch the two of them fall in love. And this was deep. There was an extra element in this story that you did not or do not find in any of Layne's previous writing. Was it that something extra that changed the game or was it what made it so much fun? Lily and Knox were a delicious couple.

Wow! Lots of suspense and bad guys in this crazy roller coaster ride!
Everyone told Lily not to marry that sneaky, sleazy and deceitful Trey. Now that there are mobsters threatening to kidnap her and blow up her house. Finally Lily realizes that they may have been on to something. YA THINK!!!!!!
But super hot Knox Sinclair, of Sinclair Securities, is not about to let anything happen to Lily or her 5 year old son, Adam. Will Knox change his mind when some of Trey's down and dirty secrets are finally revealed?

I love this book, and hope I can do this review justice! For me, I love suspenseful romances and that is what this is. Since I have read all of Ms. Layne’s precious books about the Winter family which included the Sinclairs, I feel like I am meeting up with old friends and finding out what is going on in their lives. Knox is one of the Sinclair’s that owns Sinclair Security, and I am glad he is the one who comes to help Lily. I felt bad for all the things Lily has gone through in her life, but loved she had her son Adam. I enjoy books with children in them and Adam was a cute character. Knox was so patient with Adam, and the two got along great. There are hard feelings between Ivy and her parents; the Sinclair sons and their father; and Lily and her dead husband. The Sinclair’s are not only trying to help Lily, but help their mother. The Russian mafia is involved as well. This book keeps you on the edge of your seat at times, gives you warm fuzzies at times, and makes you want to hurt people at times! I strongly encourage you to read the book. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book. I can’t wait for the next book!

I hesitantly decided to continue on and read this one, even though I was more intrigued with the last book coming up. You have to stay in order though in case things are mentioned and you don’t know what is being talked about. I’m glad I read this one even though there was a sleepy time in the book where time stood still and kept going at a snail’s pace. However, once Lily and Knox explored their feelings with each other, that’s when the book seemed to pick up, only to slow down again, then pick back up. This was the main issue I had with this book. One minute I was going, going, going and then the next it was like an immediate stop and a crawl. On top of that, you didn’t get many passionate and intense intimate scenes with Lily and Knox. Every time they had a moment to themselves, they would get caught up in the moment and right before Knox or Lily releases, they are pulled away and have to take care of something at that exact moment. It was either Lily with her son Adam or Knox needing to tend to a Sinclair Security issue and with Cooper’s disapproval with it. I’m not sure why the vibe was like that with this book but it was just a little annoying and that is my only other complaint about this book. Everything else I didn’t have a problem with. I liked how we learn more about the scandal involving the Winters clan, but in this series it morphs into the Sinclair scandals that ends up entangling with the Winters and pretty soon their background gets more detailed because it stemmed from the Sinclair’s father, Maxwell. Hopefully if you’re reading this you will have read the Winters Saga series because I can confidently say that by reading those books first, you’ll understand this series more and why everything and everyone had a motive and the way it all comes down to money and what is owed to people. The poor kids of the Winters parents and the Sinclair’s parents wound up just digging themselves into a hole and having the kids pay for and deal with the outcome of that. All they really were was just caught in the crosshairs and pulled in different directions when they weren’t even part of the elaborate plan and illegal actions from the beginning. It’s just about closing loose ends and solving mysteries at the same time with the use of hacking and elaborate planning. It’s funny, I’m reading another series with men from the military and for whatever reason, the Sinclair’s seem more detailed with their plan, while those men in the other series are quicker thinkers on their feet and with plans of attack but not as intense as what the Sinclair’s have going on. Both are good reads but for different reasons. The other ones seem to have more excitement and passion in it though, which this series seems to be lacking in. Regardless, this gets a 4 from me, and it’s way better than the first book even through the slow parts in this one. While I was annoyed by it, I could still get by without getting bored or wanting to hurry up and finish. It had enough suspense and mystery with their father missing and them putting the pieces together as well as the involvement with the Russian mob that it didn’t lack substance, just the romance and exciting flow in chunks of the book.

When Lily finally calls the security company whom her late husband told her to call if anything ever happened, it sets off a ripple effect that will change her and her son's lives irrevocably.

Knox is the typical security badass alpha, with a big heart, and he's immediately attracted to Lily, and bonds with her son, Adam. But, the whole reason Lily called Knox could not only threaten Lily and Adam's lives, but it could hinder the developing relationship between her and Knox. For his part, Knox isn't sure at first, how involved Lily was in her late husband's business dealings. If she was involved at all, it would certainly mean he can't become involved with her.

Whew, I loved this installment of the Untangled series. Like Unraveled, it's suspenseful, steamy and fast paced. I can't wait for more of the Winters/Sinclair world!

Lilly have been having strange things happen since her husband Trey died. Sinclair Security has sent the best over to look into it. Knox Sinclair is trying to get to the bottom of all that his father did in the past. The brothers’ haven been working on this for a while. Lily knows something or is she innocent. And I have a feeling her son Adam is a big part of the puzzle.

Well there is more mystery to unfold. And it always goes back to the past. Lily’s marriage was totally loveless but she has a beautiful baby boy. And if you know the story about the Sinclair and Winter family, you know there is so much more. Yes, Adam is adopted. Lily’s dead husband Trey was mixed up in it big time. Knox has the help of all his brothers’. I love that we get to see Charlie, Lucas and Griffen again. You always need a hacker. We also have a Deputy that is plain annoying. I was so glad when Knox finally got his hands on him. The chemistry between Lily and Knox is as hot as all the Sinclair’s and Winter’s stories. Lily needs not only family but someone to truly loved her and we know that Sinclair’s and Winter’s love with everything they have. All the books in the series are filled with mystery and romance and this one is no exception. I can’t wait to read about that Cooper.

If you’re into the strong, silent type, Knox is sure to be your next book boyfriend. With him, actions speak louder than words, and his body talked nonstop! From the way he lit Lily on fire from the slightest touch or a mere look, to how he seemed to be so in tune with her needs, it was enough to make me melt in a puddle. But then, to see how caring and thoughtful he was with Adam was pure swoon factor! Seeing this big, tough guy transform in to father-of-the-year material made my ovaries dance! Then there’s Lily: innocent yet strong, totally clueless about her dead husband but also terribly astute at realizing the danger that threatens her and her son, she’s a tough cookie who goes with her gut in the midst of chaos. Lily may not have been playing hard to get, but Knox had his work cut out convincing her they had a future together. Their story was as powerful as it was touching. As usual, Ivy Layne serves a perfect blend of intrigue, steamy scenes, raw emotion, and appealing characters you can’t get enough of. I loved every minute of reading this book and feel it’s become one of my favourites in all three series.

I absolutely loved Lily and Knox's story. When you add in a sweet little boy it brings more to the story and creates a happiness and completeness that is deserved. Knox and Lily is so heartwarming and I really like how Lily isn't afraid of Knox or trusting of anyone. She has reason to be suspicious of anyone. She's feisty. Knox is hot. When Knox takes out 6 guys - wow. This book is one to be read over and over. Of course, any of her books are. I love all of Ivy's series and it is always so difficult to wait for the next book. Now I will anxiously await Cooper's book and while I do I will reread this book and Charlie's too. Great job Ivy! You just keep getting better and better.

Ivy Layne had been one of my favorite one-click authors for a while now. Her writing style allows us to discover the stories of different people linked together by a common thread. While it may get suspenseful for a while, you know there must be a happy ending somewhere in the pages. The intenseness her characters have, along with the love they have to give, keeps you engrossed throughout the book. No more so than Ivy’s latest, Undone. The story of Knox and Lily certainly untangle some of the mystery we have been following throughout her books.

You'll love Knox and Lily's story. It's full of emotion and chemistry. Well written with lovable characters and an engaging read. They both have trust issues and problems dealing with them. Knox & Lily. This wasn't my favorite book in the series. I don't love the characters in this one but I did enjoy the end of the book. Even going back to do this review has me bored.

I love the strong, silent, brooding type of men. He is a man of very few words (grunts a lot until he has sex with her). I didn't find it very believable that he fell for her when she opened the door.

Lily was oblivious to important things happening in her life. If it wasn't her son Adam or cooking then her head was in the sand. ex:
- Her hubby shows up with a baby that looks exactly like him for her to mother. She had 2 miscarriages and he was done with trying with her but he knows she wants a baby so he brings her a baby. She didn't really ask any questions.
- She doesn't know what her husband did for a job and didn't really care to ask.
- He dies and she inherits a ton of money but again no clue where it came from.
- He had a box with diamonds and other jewels on it. Never asked anything about it and never noticed when it disappeared.
- She doesn't realize that her hubby's friend (deputy dave) wants to get with her after her husband died.

Yeah Knox is a great guy for stepping up as Adam's dad (given that his real dad wanted nothing to do with him). It seems odd that he isn't a talker but is excellent with young kids (that are chatterboxes).

The only saving grace with this book was their visit to the chick that was involved in Adam's birth/adoption. She was a classy woman. No shame in telling Lily about the menages that she had with her husband and the younger drug addict that was the surrogate for Adam. Easily shares that the surrogate died of an OD. They find the missing box in her curio cabinet and take it to trade to the Russian mom guy that is trying to kill their family members (wanting bank account numbers that have stolen money in it). They trade the box and $1M for Russian guy to go away.

This book sucks you in – just can’t put it down so make sure you have plenty time to read it. It is a fast paced intense, HEA story for Knox and Lilly but continues on the underlying story line from the Winters and Sinclair families, and we meet some of shady characters from prior books again. Characters are so well developed that you love and laugh with Knox and Lilly and their family and friends, while hating the bad guys.

Lilly is a widow that discovers that her deceased husband Trey, was not what he seemed and was involved in some shady dealings with Knox’s father Maxwell Sinclair and the Russian Mafia leader Tsepov and they want “it” back from her and someone keeps breaking into her house. Trey, an all-around jerk worked with the equally shady and disgusting Deputy Dave, who is now making moves on Lily all while ignoring her reports on the break-ins.

Knox is there to find the money his father stole from Tsepov, so that his family can be left alone. Falling in love with Lilly and her son Adam was not part of the plan.

My favorite part – definitely where Cooper “reconnects” with his father – his fist with Maxwell’s jaw that is. As always, the book leaves some unanswered questions, who is the mysterious hacker and the details surrounding the little girl – the Sinclair half sibling? What has Maxwell been up to and where has he been? I can’t wait for the next book.

Wow... what an ending ... I can not wait for Coopers book! But back to this review... Knox and Lily ... loved the story. Lots of suspense, twist and turns. I liked how it paralleled with Evers story. Knox is this big tough guy with a heart of gold. He instantly stepped in to a father figure for Adam who never truly had a father. Just that there makes you want to swoon. Lily is a little bit naive. I wish she were a little bit smarter but I get where the author was going with her. I loved the mama bear that comes out any time her sons involved. She is fierce when she care about someone. I kind of those she would of been pregnant towards the end. I was waiting and waiting for it but guess I was wrong ... but the story was good and the end was awesome! I can not wait for Coopers story

This book had a really sweet relationship between Knox and Lily that included Lily’s young son. I enjoyed the mystery at the center, and the references to other characters from the series.

I probably shouldn’t have read it hungry though, because there were so many descriptions of cooking and food that I kept wanting to snack :)

Undone, by Ivy Layne is a 432-page contemporary romance novel and is the second book out of a 3-part series (other reviews can be found below). It is written from a first-person POV, two-sided.

Ivy Layne is an author who generally writes dirty, dirty sex scenes. So if you're someone who is looking for some dirty read (which there is nothing wrong with that) this is the book for you. much for my liking.

Spoilers Ahead ***

This book was hinted at in Unraveled with Knox Sinclair heading up to Maine in search of information on Lily's dead husband. This is all a continuation on the Sinclair brothers finding out what kind of shady business their dad Maxwell is up to.

Lily made some bad decisions. Her parents never liked him, but Lily believed it was love and went for it anyway and they "disowned her". Her husband's family didn't like her because she wasn't from the "right kind" of family and told their son to choose and he chose her. So it sounds like it's good...but it wasn't. Really weird things started to go down. He was incredibly controlling, he didn't want her to work, he had insane security, and Lily didn't seem to be weirded out by it. Maybe because she was estranged for her parents she didn't believe she had a support system to run to? That part was never addressed. Let's just say she was quite happy after her husband was murdered.

The Sinclair's were the ones who did the security on her home so Knox went up to Maine to check it out. That is the different of this one book compared to the others, this one takes place in Maine while the others took place in Atlanta. Anyway, I really like Knox as a character. Out of all the brothers he was the introverted, "easy-going", thoughtful one. Still alpha, of course, else it wouldn't be an Ivy Layne book.

Overall, I appreciated the relationship between Knox and Lily, but some of the scenes were boring. Lily can't bake because she treats baking like cooking and doesn't measure out ingredients appropriately so her baked goods come out salty or dry. Even though this could technically be read as a standalone it's much better to read the Winters Saga and then the Sinclair's because it provides awesome backstory to what's going on, who Maxwell is, and why he's a jerk.

In summary, I give this a 3 out of 5.

Wow! What a second story in the Untangles Series about Lilly and Knox Sinclair. The men and woman from the Winters/Sinclair families are some very interesting and very successful families that have had many struggles in life. Lilly has lost her husband, Trey and after a year she has had some unusual events take place and once she finds a business card for Sinclair Security she leaves a message in the middle of the night looking for help. Once Knox is assigned the case for Lilly he is taken with her picture and has some difficulty keeping his mind and body focused on the job! The Sinclair’s are aware that Trey was in some shady business with their father and they also have a jilted Russian mobster after their mother and family. Lily and Knox are keeping their information close to their hearts and trying to figure out if they can trust one another before they share what’s really going on around them. I fell in love with her son Adam who we know is Trey’s son and mysteriously turns up one night and Lilly lives her life giving all her love to him since her marriage had no love. We get to catch up with several of the other family and friends from other stories and I just love Charlie and all she brings to each story. It’s great to see how Knox’s brothers help when needed. When Lilly has a very pushy Deputy who was best friends with Trey wanting to get close with her Knox keeps him in line and eventually gives him exactly what he deserves... When Lilly and Knox finally take that step to be with one another the sparks are very intense and develop with pure love they know is something special. Lilly has only ever wanted her son, Adam and a real love from a man and Knox is exactly the man to give his love to Lilly and Adam and to protect them no whatever it takes to make it happen! Each story about the Winters/Sinclair families gives us a bit more information about the horrible past they had as young adults and children. I am looking forward to reading Cooper’s story. This was so much better than the first book, but….

Without giving the plot away, Lily does something that I can’t get past. She’s not stupid so knew it was wrong but still did it anyway. See below for plot spoiler.

Lily’s husband Trey was working with Knox’s father before he was killed. So when Lily reaches out to Sinclair security, as she’s had people creeping in her house at night, Knox goes to help her. He also keeps an eye on her, as they suspect she was working with her husband, and their dad. The plot with the evil Russian who wants his money, that Maxwell Sinclair stole continues. With the Russian setting his sights on Lily. As he suspects that her husband had the money. A bit bored of the whole ‘where is my money’ story now. Lily has a little boy called Adam, and Knox falls in love with them both, and realises that she’s innocent of working with her husband, and that she has no clue about the missing money.

It’s really sweet and there is some danger, but I still couldn’t seem to engage with either of them. I honestly don’t know why. I just couldn’t care less about either of them. Probably made worse by Lily’s decisions. Yea I will read the last book as I want to know what happens. To be honest, I’m bored with them and want to give up.

So Lily is desperate for a child, and has had miscarriages. So when her husband Trey comes home with a baby, that they’ve supposedly adopted, she doesn’t question it, or ask anything. This infuriated me!!! As she’s not stupid, so she knows that it’s not a proper adoption, as she never met the mother or was interviewed by an adoption agency. But she’s willing to overlook it all as she wants a child??? The birth mother could have been raped, been trafficked and used for having babies, but she wants a baby, so she’s fine with it??? That doesn’t make her a great person!! Then when she explains it to Knox, his answer is that she loves her son!! Oh well that’s okay then!! It totally put me off both of them.

Lily is hesitant, scared and untrusting at first, having been thrown into a mystery she knows nothing of by her deceased husband. Little by little she learns her husband wasn't only secretive and cheating on her, but a bigot and criminal in league with Knox's father.
Little by little, through needing Knox's protection and his help in uncovering the truth, she learns to trust and love Knox.

The ending leaves your jaw dropping and eager for the last story, the last pieces.


Ivy Layne is a master story teller. She weaves each series together expertly, always keeping the mystery dangling just out if reach and the time lines exact and on point. Each story is it's own piece for each of the characters. The epilogues give you a glimpse into those characters future, but with each new installment you're back where the last piece left off, keeping the story in the current time line. You can read each story on it's own as a separate piece. But once you start it's hard not to want to go on, gaining the pieces to the whole mystery surrounding these families book by book.
While I can't wait for the while of the story to come out, I'm going to hate seeing the end. This will be a story collection I will come back to again and a must have to add to my own at home library.

This is the second book in this new series and it features Knox Sinclaire. Knox was called in to help a frightened single mother, Lilly Spencer, who's husband died mysteriously, and now someone has been trying to break into her house and the police think she's stress over her husband's death, but somehow Knox thinks this family, the Russian mob and his father are all connected, after taking one look at Lily's picture, Knox knew he had to do everything he can to help her and her son.
Lily Spencer a single mother of 5 year old Adam, but what is the really a problem is that Adam is adopted and since Lily's husband Trey death, she can not find her sons birth certificate and the legal papers on his adoption. Now things are really getting complicated, when the Russian mob tries to enter and kidnap Lily, a safe box with important papers are found in a hidden drawer in Trey's desk, finding hidden files on the computer by one of Knox's men, Trey's betrayal of his son and wife and so much more, but with the help of Knox and the Sinclaire Security they plan to protect Lily, her son, Adam and also find the Sinclaire's father.
All I can say is WOW,WOW. This is a must read book, it add a little more answered question to the Sinclaire's missing father and why the mob wants him and love for one of the Sinclaire brothers.

I loved everything about this book! I can honestly say this one has become my favorite of the Wynters/Sinclair series. I would really love to have a Knox of my own, lol. The storyline was intense and engaging, the characters down to earth and likable, and the development and pacing of Knox and Lily’s relationship were great. I absolutely adored Adam, Lily’s son. I also enjoyed the appearance of the rest of the family/gang from other books in the Wynters/Sinclair series. Though you could probably read this story as a stand-alone, I would suggest reading it with the rest of the series for more enjoyment and a better understanding of previous events, since there is a continuous ongoing storyline that spans the series for all these characters involving the bad guys and the Sinclair’s father, Maxwell. This read does delve deeper into the mystery surrounding the father and his bad deeds and familial connections. This was a non-stop, intense romantic suspense that will keep you flipping the pages. I was completely engrossed in Knox and Lily’s story and read it in one sitting; I could not put it down. I also really enjoyed the two epilogues we get at the end; the last one was a doozy (major shock)! I cannot wait for Cooper and Alice’s story to come.

Romance and Intrigue together!!

I have fallen in love with Ivy Layne's novels! Her interconnected stories featuring the Winters, Sinclair and Sawyer families have willingly pulled my into their grasp. This particular book is the second book in a three part series with the Sinclair brothers: Knox Sinclair, the strong, silent brother. Like his brothers, Knox is still trying to find their father to straighten out the mess he's created for the family. He's also on the job to investigate a new lead involving one of Maxwell's former partners: Trey Spencer.
Trey's wife Lily contacted Sinclair Security, panicked after a possible break in. That Knox was enticed by Lily's picture in the suspect dossier he studied beforehand is a minor "coincidence," of course.... Everything about her appearance sparked fires, meeting her, seeing her devotion to her son Adam and her innate goodness set those fires ablaze. This book was such an amazing story, I've read it several times already, and will definitely do so again. As a MC, Knox is positively heroic: tall, dark, handsome, fabulously intelligent and let's just say handy with computers and firearms. What's not to like, or fall into instalust? Recommend Undone? If I had a print copy, rather than an ebook I would immediately send it to everyone I know....

Undone

I loved this book. This is the second book of a trilogy of the Sinclair brothers. This one was of Knox. He was a slightly younger version of his brother Cooper the eldest and leader of the security firm they built to be one of the best in the world for keeping their clients. Knox is quiet and tends to only speak of he has something to say. He has charged with looking after Lily and her son Adam. Her husband was a bad guy and he left Lilly with a lot of unanswered questions. One look at Lily and Knox is in trouble. He also loved her son too. Follow the ups and downs of this relationship as it grows into a full blown romance. Ivy Layne has outdone herself in this book. She has written about an action hero who is very kind, gentle and openly wants Lily but first he has to protect from the Russian Mob who are after the money that the Sinclair's father stole. Lilly's ex husband (now deceased) was a criminal who was best friend is the local sheriff who is trying to date Lily but also find something that he thinks he's owed but Knox sees to it he never bothers Lily again as he quietly goes about his business. This is a must read. Actually the whole trilogy is a must. I can't wait to read the third book now). The sex written by Ivy Layne is brilliant and gives me ideas to try on my man. Well what are you waiting on - get reading.

HEART-WARMING - DANGER - SIZZLING PASSIONATE ROMANCE

FASCINATING straight away attention grabber page-turner read. This story has all the emotional feels, action, gripping suspense, danger, fabulous characters, humor, fun times, and terrific scene descriptions. The romance sizzles with burning passion and the ending is perfection.

Unbeknownst to Lily, her husband was not the man she thought he was. His death left her in horrific danger. One good thing he did do was leave her a business card for Sinclair Security. A call to them has eye-popping hot intense Knox Sinclair showing up at her home the next day. He has the answers she longs for. Knox is there to protect her and her adorable son. He is also there to learn if she participated in any of her husband's evil deeds that included his dad. Keeping their fiery desires in check weighs heavy on each of them. Together they face many hurdles and danger before reaching there happy ever after.

LOVED Knox and Lily together; their romance is more than convincing. Knox warmed my heart the way he treated Lily's son. I found this to be a most entertaining read.
