Asher is a rockstar and singer in a rock band, while Addison is a photographer, and the daughter of his best friend. Addison comes from famous parents, but she wants to experience life for herself. These two have combustible chemistry, and I loved how their love story evolved, as they make decisions together. This is a beautifully written story which is a fast paced, quick read, with secrets, family, friendships. Romance, age gap, and love, which leads to a compelling page turner.

This book is so cute wholesome. The dynamics between the characters was not only good but it felt like I'm watching this. Asher and Addison their first encounter was hilarious. Falling in love with your crush is always the best feeling ever. You get to see how naturally they fit into each others life.
I loved that Addison's parents were supportive and not protesting Harlan is really understanding dad. He and Cassidy aww they are cute!
I enjoyed this book a lot. It was light and perfect when you wanna relax 🤍✨

Tempted by Renee Harless is a fast paced, uber steamy and emotional age gap forbidden romance. Set in dreamy mountains, this rockstar romance has some amazing characters and the author captured their beautiful and passionate connections so easily.
Though it is a father's best friend trope, it was not that scandalous actually. There is thirteen year age gap. And the heroine is twenty four now. So it was cool. Addison had a bad time on her recent photography job and she chose to escape to her parents' cabin in the mountains. Unexpectedly, she meets Asher there who has bought the neighbouring house. Her rockstar crush since teenage years and main member of famous rock band Edge of Black and also her rockstar father's close friend. He is going through a tough time too. This secluded break ignites something between them.
I love how the author didn't concentrate on the drama of the forbidden romance. The focus was on developing their already existing almost friendship. Asher is in a messy situation regarding his health that can take away his music and Addison was a source of calmness and escape. She was in a troubled place too and Asher was the perfect distraction. The fact that she already had an attraction towards the brooding rockstar only accelerated their progress. It was super sexy and the author definitely brings the A game in making this story an explosive one. But these days also made them open up their hearts and made them realise that they have true feelings for each other beyond the sex. It was definitely complicated. But the author managed to give their story an inevitable pull and so it was just a matter of time. Addison is sweet but sassy and she is mature beyond her age. She doesn't want to use her celebrity parents' connection to get jobs. She is proud and independent and she wants to be recognised for her art. Asher is definitely bossy but he is also charming and can a be a complete protective sweetheart. The setting was blissful and so pretty. They had few fumbles, obstacles and misunderstandings on the way but it was overall an easy happily ever after.

I love age-gap, rockstar romances and “Tempted” is the perfect combination of passionate nights and sweet and tender moments between our super hot couple, Asher and Addison. Their romantic journey began years ago when Addison was a teenager. She had a huge crush on Asher, who was one of her father’s best friends, and that is one secret she wanted to keep close to her heart. Her feelings for Asher never went away and when they were unexpectedly thrown together at a secluded mountain hideaway the sparks flew, their passion was ignited and true love became the melody that surrounded them.
Asher and Addison’s story was tastefully written by Ms. Harless and their age difference wasn’t an issue because being together was all that mattered. Addison understood the life of a musician and Asher appreciated her compassion when it came to his secret and her zest for life and positive attitude. Together, they were a match made in musical heaven and the future was theirs for the taking. They complement each other, their chemistry is undeniable and their love is everlasting. I always look forward to new books from Ms. Harless, especially when they revisit characters from her popular Carson series. Both Asher and Addison were facing crossroads in their life and had escaped to a vacation home to relax and think. When Addison encounters her long-time crush and her father’s best friend in the shower next door, sparks explode. Both try to fight their attraction, but to no avail.

What a story! Tempted was just as spicy as it sounds. What’s better then a age-gap, father’s best friend, who happens to be a Rock Star? Nothing! This book has everything I want in romance.
When Addison finds herself in desperate need for a couple of weeks away her family’s secluded cabin is just what she’s needs. Little did she know her new neighbor was non other than Asher Blake.
Asher finally has a break from touring and it couldn’t have come at a better time. He’s facing a crossroads in his life and needs time to regroup. His cabin is the perfect place to relax, or so he thought.
I enjoyed the pace of this story everything was so well defined. You got a sense of the characters and their priorities without the story being drawn out. I absolutely loved Addison and Asher they were complexed without being immature. They matched so well, you could almost feel their chemistry with every turn of the page.
If you’re looking for a fun read with plenty of steam and light drama. I highly recommend Tempted

If you enjoy books that have age-gap, rockstars, father’s best friend, and swoon-worthy moments then you will love this book!
When I think of rockstars, I always think they’re gonna be very vain and egotistical… Asher was none of those things at all. He is so sweet, considerate, and loving towards Addison. I really admired Addison standing up to her boss and also trying to make a name for herself without using her famous parents to achieve that. They have such great chemistry and having known each other for so long really helped their relationship to have a deeper connection.
I find a lot in age-gap and taboo books that the characters spend a lot of time conflicted and going back and forth about how they shouldn’t be doing this and the age difference is an issue etc and I cannot put into words how much I loved that this book did not do that! They discussed it for one maybe two chapters and that was it and it wasn’t constantly brought up. Loved that!

This story was a quick and steamy read! Their relationship is forbidden but the heart wants what it wants. Addison and Asher have such great chemistry. They did not let the fact he is best friends with her dad or the age gap get in the middle of their relationship. Addison is strong and wants to do things for herself regardless of having famous parents. Asher is faced with a tough medical diagnosis that could have a large impact on his future in music. They leaned on one another and supported each other when trying to make the best decisions moving forward for their future. Loved that there was no messy drama, Addison is mature even for her young age and knows exactly what she wants.

Oh wow! Dad’s Best Friend is my weakness. So when it was suggested to me to read Tempted I don’t hesitate and go deep in and read it ASAP. Asher and Addison are so good, so so good together. He was her crush as teen and now a dream come true. Asher fall for her in an instant. It was really amazing read this story, a couple of hours and done. The Rockstars and the photographer fall in love for each other in this wonderful cabin, full of sweetness and h0t moments. I totally loved it. It’s highly recommended.

This story was an age-gap, rockstar, spicy whirlwind! Although, it was a shorter read it was full of emotion and tension and I loved that both Asher and Addison dealt with real life problems. Yes, the spice was top notch, but these two characters also had a history that grounded the story and made you invested in their relationship. They just fit together and were there to support each other. The story grabbed me emotionally and I really felt the connection Asher and Addison had. A great read!

I loved this book. Asher and Addison’s not so meet cute was hot and funny. They had really good chemistry. Loved reading about their love story. And I love a good age gap dad’s best friend story. Highly recommend checking this out. It was such a good story.

This was a fast paced age gap/dad's best friend romance. Addison is looking to get her life back on track and runs to her family cabin to gain some insight. Unbeknownst to her the property next door has been purchased by none other than Asher, rock God and her dad's best friend.
The two are at the cabins for different reasons but temptation is too much to ignore and these two fall hard once the lines have been crossed.
Asher and Addison have great chemistry that fuels the story. I enjoyed reading their story and an intrigued to read more in this world.

Tempted lead us to Addison, who after some problem in her jobb wants to get away from it all and rest from everything.
Little did she know that on this holiday she will cross her path with her teen crush the rockstar Asher Blake, who is happen to be also her father best friend.
To say that this was forbidden romance i will lie,because the heroine was 24 and he 37 so not so scandalous for me.
They relationship prosperity fast and it was giving me insta vibes ,that's why I give this rating.
But overall the book was fun to read ,with steamy quantities,hot moments and happy end that both deserved.

When the author reaches out to you directly to read their new book, how do you say no?
Renee Harless is a new to me author and I was definitely impressed. Tempted follows Addison and her attempt to out her next steps as she quits her job due to unethical reasons. She escapes to her parent's cabin to escape her reality and to figure out her next steps. What she doesn't know is that her dad's best friend and musician has moved next door. On a break from tour to deal with his medical issues, Asher needs to figure out if he needs to walk away from his career or stay and keep his ailment a secret. No matter what decisions are made, they are supporting each other.
This was a quick read. Although this is a forbidden/dad's best friend trope it didn't focus too much on the drama. It was about the characters and their chemistry. They are both dealing with personal issues and the way they were able to balance each other out, is what Happily Ever Afters are made from.
If you are looking for a quick forbidden, rock star, father's friend book, this is it!

Renee Harless is a new to me author and I was definitely impressed. Tempted follows Addison and her attempt to out her next steps as she quits her job due to unethical reasons. She escapes to her parent's cabin to escape her reality and to figure out her next steps. What she doesn't know is that her dad's best friend and musician has moved next door. On a break from tour to deal with his medical issues, Asher needs to figure out if he needs to walk away from his career or stay and keep his ailment a secret. No matter what decisions are made, they are supporting each other.
This was a quick read. Although this is a forbidden/dad's best friend trope it didn't focus too much on the drama. It was about the characters and their chemistry. They are both dealing with personal issues and the way they were able to balance each other out, is what Happily Ever Afters are made from.
If you are looking for a quick forbidden, rock star, father's friend book, this is it!

This is a quick, spicy age-gap romance. It was enjoyable and had an interesting plot. Both Addison and Asher are facing decisions about their careers. Addison decides to escape to her parent's cabin. She doesn't know that Asher has purchased the cabin next door. Asher is spending his two-week break relaxing at his cabin. When Addison catches him in his outdoor shower, things accelerate quickly.
This is a fast-paced, insta-love romance. I was in the mood for a quick read and this was the perfect solution. It was spicy and full of tension, but low on drama. Addison was independent and knew what she wanted. Asher was protective and only wanted what was best for Addison.
This is a story about two people developing a relationship and supporting each other. I enjoyed the storyline. It was full of SPICE, but plenty of plot. There were a few things that were resolved a little quickly. I enjoyed this short read. If you read Coming Altered you've met Addison's parents.

Rockstar and a forbidden romance between a father's best friend x daughter with an age gap!!
I ate this book up! I loved both our main characters Asher and Addison, you could feel the temptation and connection on each page. Although they tried to deny it, their connection naturally drew them together until one night, they just gave in!
The chemistry between the characters was off the charts. This was such a fast-paced and steamy read that you won't be able to put it down. The author made it more about the characters discovering their connection, rather than the forbidden take on it, which I really enjoyed. The way that they truly cared for each other and wanted them to have the best, warmed my heart.
While they started by thinking this was a fling as they were both taking a breather in life, they quickly realized that they meant so much more to each other than a simple fling and they would not be able to simply go back to the way things were.
An amazing read, absolutely loved it and will be reading more from the author!

If you like fast paced novels/novellas with all the steaminess and fun times, this one is for you!
You know when you need to get out of a slump and are craving something short but that scratches a specific itch? This one was that for me.
The plot was one I've not read before and it got me hooked right away. We get rockstar, age gap, forbidden, tension, banter, childhood crush and friends to lovers vibes.
I read it basically in one sitting, the characters and plot interested me which is also why I wanted more from them.
As a character driven reader, I love to understand their thought processes and how they develop through out the story is my favorite part. Both characters definitely had their own trauma to deal with. So it was interesting to see how they came together and supported each other throughout it all, however I would have liked to see more of their backstory, there's definitely tension but I wish I knew more of what drove them to crash and burn.
Overall it was an entertaining fun read. And I would like to read more from the author in the future.

This was such a fun, quick read. The spice was SO good. Those 🚿🛁 moments!!! Their chemistry was intense. And although they fell hard and fast, they've known each other for so long it didn't feel forced. And I love how honest and straightforward they were with one another. It was refreshing.
This is the perfect short book to read in between heavier books, a great palate cleanser full of great spice, no drama, and could definitely be read in one sitting with how fast you'll be turning the pages!

I was anxious to read this book once I read the summary. I love the age gap trope and had such high hopes for this book. As much as I felt the attraction between Asher and Addison from the beginning, I feel like they got together way too fast. I wish the author had built up the sexual tension between them over time and not let it happen right away. I think if we had seen more of their interactions in the past it may have helped the reader get the full picture. There were a lot of things that I liked about this book, that scene with the outside shower was one of them. HOT! This book was an easy read and perfect for those who do not want much drama.
