Ezra's nightmares are coming true. When he dreams, he brings things back with him. Dangerous things. Meanwhile, his parents' arguments are getting worse, and it hurts him in ways he can't express. Ballet used to be his outlet, but now it's just another memory he would rather keep buried. A demon is stalking Ezra in his dreams, and he might be the only one who can help-for a price. But with beings from other dimensions hunting Ezra for his power, the clock is ticking.
I've been waiting to sink my teeth into another Lytle book since reading BASA back in 2020. Needless to say, I was overjoyed when I discovered this little (Lytle?) beauty had just been published. I'm a complete sucker for stories involving dream fuckery, so this was a treat. I remember one of my favorite things about BASA was how well the characters were developed, and the same is true here (although I will say this applies to Ezra alone, as this little novelette comes in just under 90 pages, which isn't a lot of room to work on supporting characters).
