Whew… this sequel did not come to play! Minka was fighting for her life emotionally, physically, spiritually, you name it. She’s dealing with secret family revelations that should’ve stayed six feet under, and Sasha, that girl is still loose, unhinged, and plotting like her full-time job.
Jahquel served drama piping hot baby daddies acting up, court dates, shady bloodlines, and skeletons flying out of the closet like they heard their song come on. Milan and Donovan had me screaming at my Kindle. One minute I’m swooning, the next I’m cussing him out in my head. Why do men lie unprovoked?
And Micah?? Whew. The way these exes just keep multiplying like roaches. Everybody wants a piece, and nobody respects boundaries!
This book was messy in all the best ways. Drama filled, binge worthy, and gave everything I came for, plus extra chaos for good measure.

wonderful read
I was beginning to wonder if Micah was stuck on stupid or just absolutely naive, I’m so glad he finally put his foot down with Patrice. Minka I thought had a touch of post partum it helped when she shared how she was feeling and got her gym back in. She was a true selfless friend to Ashley. Ashley had her moments of ingratitude where I wanted to pop her, glad she got her babies. Milan showed growth with Donovan and stopped realizing he wasn’t trying to not support but protect her. It would have been real hard for me to forgive and be around Kareema, I’m with Milan on that one.

This author has me addicted that I r the past 6 months her books are all I read, and for me, this series really showed me the power of love Minka has for her friend and family. Though Minka is the star, it's Mikan for me that stands out the way she at 19 is about her business is next level . Munka story is that of many women doing what they got to do. Friendship is a major part of this series. For me, anyone looking to read a captivating series that pills you in from the first chapter of book 1 to the last chapter of book 2, you definitely found it in this series. Enjoy the ride

Still ended up wifey 🤣
This book touched on a lot of different topics in a way only Jah can do . Minka grew up and even though her heart has always been humongous her mind and common sense grew in this last book. Micah grew up to and as much as I disliked him in book one I learn to love him in book 2. Glad her and her mom reconciled and she was able to understand her disconnect. I still don't like Ashley , she's selfish . Milan grew on me and is definitely a rider . Sasha didn't disappoint with her craziness. Definitely recommend this series .

Welp Sasha crazy self had more issues than a little bit. Definitely didn’t understand why Micah never installed cameras or have security for him and Minka. He was blinded by his former love in Patrice and it for Milan to talk common sense into him. Happy that Milan and Donovan got their relationship together and Kareema learned how to grow up. Ashley and Minka’s friendship stood the test of time and happy to see it all work out for them all.

the most ratchet
characters I’ve ever read from any book. It doesn’t get more ratchet than this story. I grew up in the hood and this was over the top even for me, I don’t know how anyone else got through this without a headache. The story was all over the place like the characters.
This is one of the author’s first books, so it’s nice to see that her writing has progressed significantly from this.

I loved this series it was fire from the beginning to the end. I’m glad that Minka was definitely a great best friend to Ashley. I loved the fact that Minka carried those babies for her best friend. Yes I was so happy that Minka killed Sasha crazy tale. I can’t wait to see what you have coming next

There was no review page so I had to come rate it on Goodreads. I wasn't feeling part 1 but this part was good. It was all about Sasha for me. Ole crazy was showing out. They probably could've titled the book Sasha because everyone else was just ratched. The thing I didn't like was how it kept repeating entire scenes from part 1 plus the typos but I got through it.

Ehh..it wasn’t as amazing as I expected
First of all, I used to love the name, ‘Sasha’ and now I despise it! lol she was insane. This book tied up loose ends, however there was a lot of repeated scenarios from earlier situations. I guess to remind the reader of what happened in book 1 or 2, but I didn’t need that.

LOVE LOVE LOVE
I absolutely loved this series. It was so many twists and turns and surprises but it kept me very entertained. I didn’t expect to love this book as much as I did but I did. I wish there was a follow-up. I selfishly wanted Milan to get pregnant but I know she was young and not ready. Overall a good book and I enjoyed reading it

Too much
This book had to much going on in it. A 19year old girl doing to much, all these different moms that didn't do nothing for their children. It was just to many characters in this storyline.

I could really see the growth in Jahquel J writing from then to now. I really enjoyed Minka story because she has been through so much, but in the end, she came out on top.
