The plan was to let loose in Vegas. It didn’t involve falling for a player.
Since my not-so-amicable breakup, all I’ve wanted is a nice guy. One who understands my desire for order in every facet of my life. In other words, I want the opposite of Ty. Although his flirty smirks and tattoos are perfect for his unconventional profession, they’re too dangerous for me. Ty oozes sensuality, not marriage vows, and I should stay far away. But one trip to Sin City changes everything. Ty’s walls start to crumble, surprising me with his vulnerability, and I can’t help but fall for his charm. I start questioning everything—even my own sanity. Because I must be crazy to give in to Ty, right? Can one night in Vegas turn hate to love?

This book was recommended on TikTok and someone said it had good grovelling and no cheating. So I was like ok 🤷🏻♀️imma give it a try.
Oh boy, this book has one of the world's worst tropes ever written. Playboy x dormant-sacrifise-everything-for-you-i'll help-you-through-this-even-though-you-hurt-me- heroine
Let me explain, H has a dark past
H sleeps around, has an annual situation-ship with a woman name Naomi on the anniversary of his sis death. One day the h catches them in his apartment. First he lies about the woman when she texts him, then when the h catches them and it blows up this happens:
True, but I know you. And you need to be with someone who gets you like I do.” “We don’t have a future.” My gaze bores into hers, anger rising and my blood boiling. “Look, I can never thank you enough for being there for me all these years, and I want to continue being your friend, but I can’t offer any more.” “Why? We never even gave us a real chance. We could be great together.” I laugh humorlessly. “Even if you didn’t live in New York, we still wouldn’t work. Whatever relationship we have is unhealthy.” “And you think she can give you a healthy one? Don’t fucking kid yourself, Ty. You know better.” She steps closer, and her tone turns dark and chilling as she briefly touches my lips with hers, whispering, “We’re alone in this world.” 65%
The author clearly uses this OW as a tool for a breakup because she is never seen again. he knows this woman caused intentional trouble for him and yet he's still offering her friendship???????
What an idiot. Actually no, that title is reserved for our h. Because weeks after this happens (yes he lets her walk away. No grovelling, no apologies, nothing), this happens:
I miss him. And because he hasn’t been answering my calls, I hopped on a plane to see him in person. (...) 71%
“I’m not here because you deserve anything from me, but I want to help you move on. Not with me, but with your life.” I choose my next words carefully. “I’m sorry about your sister.” He pushes his food away, his obvious shock at seeing me here now gone. “You don’t know the half of it,” he spits. 71%
oh behold the power of scarifies of a woman. She wants HIM to heal. Even though she catches him kissing the OW after she saw them at his apartment and left, she comes back and catches them kissing.
“What’re you doing?” “I don’t know why you came all the way over here. I haven’t been answering your calls for a reason. I’m a big boy. I don’t need you to babysit me or worse, try to understand how I feel.” 71%
There are only a handful of people walking around the parking lot. Nothing surrounds us but the night sky and devastation. As we stand facing each other, I realize I’ll gladly be his punching bag if it’s what he needs. If it will help him see he’s not alone. If it’ll help him move on. Not for me or us. For him. 71%
backbone, who? we don't have her...💁🏻♀️
I promised myself I would never be this intimate with Ty again, not after he hurt me, but if this is what he needs to know he’s not alone and that his life is worth living, I’ll give myself to him over and over again until he understands there’s someone else out there who cares. Because I do. I care so much, and I’ll likely never get over him, but at this moment—with his kisses and movements laced in more pain than alcohol—I don’t want to. Because I sense that he cares too. I wouldn’t have thought he did last week or even yesterday.
Fisting my hair in his large hand, he tugs harder and harder the closer he gets to release, and I know I’ll have bruises and a headache in the morning. But it won’t matter. I gladly accept them if it means he finds some semblance of peace, even if just for one night.
so they sleep together and wanna guess what this playboy does next?
I turn around to kiss him but find the bed empty. The kitchen, living room, and bathroom are all empty, and his toothbrush and travel bag he leaves by the door are gone too. No smell of coffee or pancakes. No note. No text or call. There’s no sign of him. And just like that, my world stops spinning too.
And even after all this one day Ty (the manho) calls the h again and SHE PICKS UP. I'm sorry why do you have any kind of contact with this man AT ALL?
And she’s right. Ty’s not the forever kind of guy. But I am that kind of girl. I want the family and the doting husband and the backyard where we can barbecue. To create the wholesome family I never had. I deserve that, but it makes me sick to accept that it won’t be with Ty. 78%
You make me sick.
And then in the last part Ty has an epiphany and decides he DOES LOVE the h and wants to be with her. the whole entire book everyone is telling him to go after her (he never does), to not hurt her (he doesn't listen) but suddenly the book is ending and we NEED an HEA. So obviously the author decides to sacrifice the h's pride and says 'bit8h you thought'. Because which 21 century woman needs independence. Not this girl for sure 🤦🏻♀️
This is the first book that I've read by this author and I didn't know what to expect but it was fabulous. I really enjoyed it.
Ty is a real mans man, a total alpha male. He's a womanizer and is very arrogant man, at first. He really thinks he's gods gift to women and thinks women are falling over themselves to get to him.
Emma has had a real crappy break up and all she is looking for is a man that can treat her right, treat her with respect and love her the way she needs to be. Emma doesn't want to be distracted by Ty because surely he's not that man especially with how sexy he is and his sex appeal. Emma doesn't think Ty is marriage material but Emma and Ty both have a connection and good chemistry between them both but will they give into there feelings of lust for one another? (NO SPOILERS).
This author has written really in depth characters and really brought them to life. I really like Emma and who she is and how she deals with everything. At first I thought that Ty was going to be a big A- hole and that I wasn't going to like him, when actually it turns out you really do like him he's cute. He likes Emma but he thinks that he's to broken to have her in his life. This is what an author does makes you feel as the reader and this book does have some parts that make your emotions really spike. I liked reading this book and will look out for more in this series.
Thank You to the authors and the publishers for allowing me to read an early copy of this book.
ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.
This book is expected to be released 7th April 2020.
Ty is a stripper and total alpha male. First glance you might think he's arrogant and not marriage material. Emma has been through a break up and just wants a man to treat her right. She thinks there is no way Ty could be that man until he shows her. Ty was actually a sweetheart and so loveable but thinks he is too broken for Emma. A great read.
Georgia Coffman's sophomore book is just as intriguing as the first. And I'd love to know how peanut butter, raisin, and cheese sandwiches paired with expensive Merlot came to be. Lol
"Her hands grip my face, and she kisses me fiercely. It does weird things to my heart, things I've never felt before, and I'm not sure how to deal with it."
4 No Distractions Stars! Great story and great characters! I was hooked!
Ty is a total womanizer, God's gift to women, look up alpha-male in the dictionary and his picture is there. The last thing he wants is a relationship. Emma has been through bad break-up after bad break-up and she's not fully immersed herself into her job. The last thing she needs is to be distracted by relationships, let alone Ty. But when he starts to woo her, and when she falls and he proves her right that men are horrible... can he redeem himself?
This is the first book by Georgia Coffman I've read, and I thought it was super cute! I loved the build up between Ty and Emma. There was never a dull moment, there was so much steam and chemistry! I didn't read the first book in the series, but that didn't take away from this book at all! I will definitely be grabbing other books from Georgia in the future!
So excited for the second installment of this series! After getting a little backstory of Ty and Emma from the last book, which involved Emma’s roommate and Ty’s best friend, we get Ty and Emma’s story! Emma has been jaded from her past relationship as well as the relationship between her parents. She has continued to keep herself focused on her business and career and avoids relationships and dating at all costs. Ty has found the family he never had with the group of guys he strips with, but you can tell that he’s using it to fill the voids in his life. Extremely cocky, he finds himself enamored with Emma and continuously peruses her despite her rejecting him. Until she doesn’t. I loved the development of this couple fighting their relationship until they finally give in and start to learn about each other. But when Emma’s the only one opening up, she gives Ty the chance and he doesn’t take it, and they have somewhat of a messy breakup. But when Ty realizes his faults and realizes he has true feelings for Emma, will she take him back? I loved the back and forth of this storyline and the Georgia’s style of writing. I can’t wait to see who’s next in this series! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Sexy Male strippers in Vegas? Yes, please! I loved the mental images I had of the characters; hot, sexy, alpha and ... hung and I wasn’t disappointed. The writing was good throughout and, other than the usual ‘heads needing to be banged together’ moments, the story flowed along slowly.
Ty is such a typical, cocky, well-built stripper but has some serious hang-ups that he really struggles to deal with. He’s so lovable but, I have to say, he’d be far too much hard work for me.
Emma is an organised saint, she’s the spirit animal I WANT to be. I admire her so much. She is dealing with her own demons and handles Ty with finesse. She’s sassy and quick with her comebacks and is an amazing person. The attraction between her and Ty is magnetic and if they both let down their barriers... scorching hot love!
The story was mostly funny but had some sad moments but, for me, I felt it dragged on a bit. Having said that the good doesn’t happen without all the drama to make it all the sweeter and this story is worth reading.
In Let Loose for Me, Georgia Cates gives her readers an opposites attract romance that includes a hot male stripper. The book was like a romance read and Magic Mike all tied into one.
Ty and Emma (my daughter's name, so it was a little weird) are friends by association, meaning Ty's best friend is marrying Emma's best friend, so they are always thrown together in couple situations. I liked Ty's personality from the get go, it was Emma that had to grow on me a bit. She was stuffy and had lines a fifth grader would say.
Up and down on the emotional roller coaster we go with Ty and Emma. He's not looking for love and she's dealing with some heavy emotional baggage, so it was interesting to see how it was going to play out between them.
The book is well written and quite predictable. Again, I liked the Ty character, he was outgoing and fun. The book is part of a series, however reads well as a standalone. These guys all have an interesting story to tell, that's for sure.
Meh... The h is a doormat. She sees the MMc kissing his friend who "she doesn't have to worry about", and then says that she'll never understand him the way the friend does. Then they break up, the FMC is broken hearted and wallowing. Then she goes after him (cringe), he says some mean things to her comparing their lives (mind you, the FMC had an alcoholic mom and a deadbeat dad, but she doesn't now what struggle is like), then they have sex. The guy is gone in the morning with no message or anything..the FMC is once again broken hearted. Months go by in which nothing really happens. Then they meet again and BAM the MMC suddenly realizes he can't live without FMC.
There's no development in their characters. The MMCs, who is possibly suicidal and depressed, probably has alcohol problems too, never seeks any professional help. There are some things love can't cure, and depression is one of them. Also, I cannot see this relationship working in the long haul. I mean... The guy is a stripper (nothing against it, but the FMC obviously doesn't like his job).

When you think of Male Stripper does cocky, player and womanizer the words that first come to mind. If I had to describe Ty when I first met him in Strip for Me those were the words I would have used. After reading Let Loose for Me, total opposite words come to mind.
We all know that it takes the right woman to fix something that might be a little broken. But what if that woman is broken herself. What will it take then? Ty and Emma have a Love/Hate relationship that will drive anyone mad. They always seem to be trying to make the other jealousy to see what the other is feeling. Will these two be willing to stop bickering long enough to see what is right in front of them.
I said Georgia's first book was captivating and the same hold for this one too. Let me add addicting because I couldn’t stop reading. Georgia has a way of pulling you in with her writing that you feel like you are along with every step these characters make.
I can’t wait for Weck for Me and see which Naked Heat stripper is next. I think I know who’s and let say it's going to interesting.
This was a first read for me by Georgia Coffman. I really enjoyed this book. I liked the writing style, the sexiness, the banter.
Ty is a typical alpha male and he knows it. I loved his transition throughout the book. When we first meet him - he is the typical "slut", however, we then learn more about him and his past and then realize why he is the way he is. I loved we get to see his vulnerability.
Emma - she is a petite fireball. I liked her snake like attitude towards Ty. She can act tough, but she is a softie underneath and all of it is an act.
I really loved their banter and their chemistry. The build up is great as well. They might seem different, but they a lot of common.
It was a really good read. Definitely will read Sebastian and Kendall's story.
This is the 2nd book in this series and the 1st time I have read any of this authors work, but I will certainly be looking out for her work in the future. This is Ty and Emma’s story. Ty is a womanizing alpha who is a stripper in Vegas. Emma is jaded by her past relationships, and just want a man to love and respect her, and that is not Ty despite the chemistry between them. This is a well written story which had me totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I highly recommend for all.
This book was so so good! This is my first book by this author and most definitely won't be my last. Ty is a ladies man, a real casanova when it comes to the ladies. The last thing he's looking for is a relationship. Emma has been through a bad break up, and is avoiding dating and immersing herself in her career. Ty finally wears her down and she gives him a chance, only for things to end up with a break up. Will he be able to get her back and prove himself to her? I loved everything about this book, there was never a dull moment, and I definitely highly recommend it.
I skipped around some when I got bored but liked the ending.
I was hoping that I would like this one better than I liked the last book in the series since I did like the Stuck with the series, but I still struggled. I was hoping to learn more about them, and honestly maybe I skipped those parts, but I did get bored so I skipped. I liked the ending and bought the whole series so I will read the next one too.
This book blew me away. I loved that we finally got Ty and Emma's story. It was hot as hell for sure! The story plot was even better. I love how this author writes this book. I laughed out loud at some parts and was brought to tears in others. It was amazing. I can't wait to see what's up with Leo in the next book in the series!
Can't wait for Leo's (and Bailey's...?) story next
I had a hard time putting this down. I already wanted to see Emma and Ty end up together in Strip for Me and I finally got to see where their relationship ended up.
I didn't like this story the MMC he is portrayed as someone who avoids commitment and only has hookups because of his trauma. And I'm not talking the occasional period of hookups, rather years of it.

Even better than the first, I really fell for Ty. He was just so much fun! To be honest, I was already crazy about him when I read “Strip for Me”. He stole every scene he was in and I kept looking for hints about him and Emma even then. I was so looking forward to their love story! There was so much heat between them, even then.
The heat between them was even greater than I expected and when they finally let loose, it was explosive. He was so obviously in love with her almost from the beginning, he was just so determined not to find the happiness he so wanted. (I loved the way Georgia used the title “Let Loose for Me” in the actual book. It’s like a lot of songs do.)
I had no idea he had so much sadness living inside him. He broken my heart more than once. Em is perfect for him and he is exactly what she needed as well. I’m so happy they found each other.
