I'm sober now, off undercover work, but still vacant. Still searching in every crevice for a piece to fill the void. Nothing lasts longer than an orgasm, at least not until Rosie pops back into my life and helps me feel worthy again.

I have an addiction to books. There I said it, isn't admitting it have the battle. I have always read everything I can get my hands on. My greatest joy is writing a review for a fellow author that has blown me away.
When I set down and decided to take the leap to make my life time dream come true and write a book I was terrified, but in a good way. Publishing a book is the most thrilling thing I have ever done. That's with having 14 grand-kids. LOL!

The storyline for Caged Fear is an exciting mix of crime/police drama, romance, suspense, and action. The slow-building relationship between Rose and Mike is both sweet and intense. Mike's sister Macy and Rose are best friends, making it one big family love fest. The characters are engaging and believable. Caged Fear is the second book I have read with these characters. Mike, Rose, Macy, and David have been through so much, and the storyline takes them all to the edge again. However, they get through with each other as support and backup when needed. With tons of drama, suspense, action, and romance, Caged Fear is an engaging page-turner.

This was my first read from this author. This story pulled me in immediately. I loved the first person point of view of the story, this is always a deal breaker for me. I really liked Mike, the hero and for me is always a guy who makes or breaks the story. I will be reading more from this author in the future.

This is the 3rd book I've read written by Nancy Chastain; I can’t wait to read more of her books.

The story is about Mike trying to put his life back together after his sister was shot. He joined the force to take down the Guardians; all of them are either dead or in jail now but he can’t forgive himself for his sisters getting shot.

This book was so good I read it within a day. Nancy has a way with her words that draws you in and keeps you entranced. The twists and turns were epic and I loved every second of it.

The blurb was interesting. Unfortunately the book was not. The story jumped around and changed, the situations were improbable, the characters were one dimensional and the writing was full of errors. By the time I got to the end I didn’t even care. If it wasn’t an Arc I would have quit by chapter 3. It’s actually second in a series but I have no interest in reading anything else.
