Adventure takes its toll on heroes and villains, and Logan Dodge has the physical and mental scars to prove it.
Needing a break from it all, the former Navy SEAL and his family venture south to the island of Cozumel. But it’s not all scuba diving, fresh fish tacos, and bottomless margaritas in this much-needed getaway…
While savoring the island paradise, a stroke of fate causes Logan to cross paths with a local charter captain who claims to know the location of a lost Spanish galleon. All the while, a string of mysterious murders plagues the region. And when the vicious criminals responsible catch wind of the treasure trove, they’ll go to any lengths to claim the fortune for themselves.
In the fifteenth Florida Keys Adventure, Logan fights to bring down the corrupt murderers and recover the lost treasure while dozens of innocent lives hang in the balance. Voyage in the Keys is a high-stakes, treasure hunting, pulse-pounding adventure that will have you flipping pages long into the night.

As Always Matthew Rief Delivers Another Great Adventure Thriller
“Voyage in the Keys” is everything, and more, of what defines a “great thriller”. I’ve read them all, and I’ve never been disappointed. That’s why this series, and this author, is on my “A List”…Matthew Rief writes it, I’m going to read it!
I highly Recommend this book, (and the entire series).
This is the 15th book in the Logan Dodge series. I enjoyed this fast-paced tale that took place in Cozumel, Mexico. Logan Dodge took his wife and adopted daughter on a vacation to Cozumel as part of delivering a sailboat for a friend. While walking thru town, he witnessed a young woman being assaulted and stepped in to help her. Warren Beauchamp the son of a wealthy man on the island thought he could do as he pleased and no one would mess with him, until he met Logan. As Logan got pulled into this situation and finds out the Warrens father is part of organized crime in the area who was bullying a lot of locals. Logan, a retired navy seal, and his wife Ange are both skilled security for hire around the world so they back down from no one. Logan, a Key West resident and part-time ship treasure hunter meets Mick Flanagan a dive master and shipwreck treasure hunter in Cozumel. Logan wants to dive in Cozumel and after talking to Mick they find they have something in common. Mick found a treasure ship and is trying to work out a deal with Mexico for a finder fee. Beauchamp finds out about the treasure and tries to take it and this is where Logan and his wife step in to help. Logan calls on friends from his past for assistance. Is Beauchamp the brains of the crime organization or is there someone on the inside of Cozumel Government pulling the strings. The opinions of this review are my own.
Matthew Rief takes me along in every scene. I almost can taste the saltwater on my lips. I happened upon the Logan Dodge series by accident when I searched for Carl HIaasen. great company to be in so I read the first novel and fell through the rabbit hole. The details are perfect for those that doubt the utter weirdness of Key West. The Conch Republic is alive and long live Logan Dodge
The action comes in spurts throughout the book. Some is kind of boring- sailing a friends boat to Cozumel -discussing scenery , breaching whales, sunsets etc. Arrival in Cozumel also blah, hand off boat, check in, sitting on the beach.
Then Logan comes to the aid of Dorothy who is being harassed by a jeck- and things explode from there. The top bad guy was obvious to me.
I found the earlier Adventure books much grittier but the later ones with wife and daughter not as interesting
Mr. Rief has written another great adventure for the Dodge family! He keeps thinking up plots that are very fast moving and characters that continue to evolve and change just like life does for the readers! This story is easy to read and get involved with. I hope he can come up with 4 or 5 more plots and show the Dodge family continue to grow and evolve! Thanks!
Matthew Rief kicks it up a notch with this installment of his Logan Dodge series. Not only does this book include his usual adventure....it takes a deeper dive into his relationships with his family, his friends, and his home. Having spent a lot of time in the Keys myself, the authors accurate portrayal of the Keys and Keys life transports me there every time I crack open one of his books.
After completing the set of fifteen books I can really say they were awesome and looking forward to the next adventure. If you looking for easy reading while twisting and turning if your seat, start from the first book and binge your way through great adventures. It may even inspire you to take a vacation to enjoy some of the great places mentioned in these adventures. Having visited the majority of them in my younger years, I can honestly say they are fabulous. Great work Matt.
Not as good as expected. This is the first novel by this author. Not impressed. As a master diver, the mother and teenage son divers scene did not ring true. What mother wouldn’t stay close to her son in current?? Too many issues with this. Could have done something else here and made a better story. Some of this just pushed beyond believable. Won’t bother with any others if this is how he writes. Too bloody in some places and boring in others.
I love these characters. The author takes you an incredible adventure. I have followed this series and have never been disappointed. The characters are so strong, morally incredible, loving to family and friends. They also fight to stop a wrong or injustice with skills, and insight you wish you possessed. Thanks Mr Risf.
I like Matthew Rief writing of Logan Dodge books. They are lively and enjoyable. They keep you enthralled and waiting for the next happening. I look forward to the next in the series!!
Another excellent Logan Dodge adventure by Matthew Rief. Thrilling from beginning to end with lots of twists, turns and actual historic events rolled into the story. Can't wait for the next volume.
Matthew Rief once again gives his readers a great adventure story. His characters and plot are interesting. Along with his narrative gives the reader a look at interesting times. Thanks to the author.
Words are said to give us strength, knowledge and to share takes of the history and takes of fancy great story and even got better as I read chapter after chapter. Great book to read in our rainy lazy days ......
A little wordy and long on description , but overall a good plot and storyline . An enjoyable read, along the lines of Jack Reacher. Lots of excitement with some violence . A good read.
Every adventure lights the way to the next adventure. Right is right, wrong don't belong. Love your family and friends, as who knows what tomorrow will bring. Rock on!
Started a little slow but worth the wait as the action for the Dodge family kicked in with nail- biting suspense. Tied up all the loose ends with a surprise ending! Great read!! Keep them coming, Mr. Rief!
Every adjective is a superlative - best beach - fabulous fish - nothing rings true. Totally lost me when two teenage girls join the hunt for their friends kidnapper. Best to find a better action series - try Gray Man instead.
Having lived in Florida I enjoyed reading about the Keys. Have also been to Cozumel, and this reminded me of all the great diving and wonderful people.
This book was so action packed I couldn't put it down. Definitely will be reading more of his books..
Logan Dodge and family embarked on a peaceful voyage only for it to end in a battle. Their battle for justice lasted over a period of several days. True friendship and honor will prevail when Logan Dodge is around!
Great read and hard to put down. Plenty of action and one could feel like you in the Caribbean enjoying the water and sights. The ending was a surprise that was very good.
Don't ever stop writing this series!!!! Couldn't get enough of them and have read them all and hated when I got to the end! What a great series! Keep it up!
Matthew Died never disappoints. I'm just too impatient and read each one in one or two days, then I have to wait for the next one. Keep up the great work.
