3.5 stars—RIPPER is this fourth instalment in Ivy Black’s contemporary adult BLAZING REBELS erotic, MC series focusing on the members of the Blazing Rebels MC. This is mechanic Veronica ‘Ronnie”, and Blazing Rebels members Elias ‘Ripper’ Serrano’s story line. RIPPER can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary but I recommend reading the series in order for backstory as there is a continuous premise throughout.
WARNING: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Ronnie and Ripper) RIPPER follows the building relationship between mechanic Veronica ‘Ronnie’ and Ripper Serrano. Ronnie is a mechanic working for her uncle Axle, a loner biker from back in the day, who warns Ronnie not to get involved with the bikers as their world is rough, and their lives are short. Always one to follow her own path, Ronnie finds herself attracted to a biker who looks like he has gone through some tough times, times that are about to get tougher for our everyone involved. Enter Elias ‘Ripper’ Serrano, the man with whom Ronnie will fall in love. What ensues is the building relationship between Ronnie and Ripper, and the fall-out as an old enemy takes aim at the Blazing Rebels, pulling Ronnie and her uncle Axle into the middle of the fight.
Ronnie is a little bit naive when it comes to the life of a biker. Desperate for friends, she is quickly pulled in by a pretty face and a sob story, a face that is all too familiar to the Blazing Rebels MC but when someone she loves is used as a pawn between rival MCs, Ronnie is all too willing to forget the rules, risking everyone else. Ripper never expected to fall for Ronnie, and our heroine is desperate to join the Blazing Rebels MC.Promising to show Ronnie the ropes, Ripper never thought they would be betrayed by one of their own.
The relationship between Ronnie and Ripper is one of immediate attraction. Ronnie had been warned, several times, to keep her distance from the local MC but her heart wants Ripper, and Ripper is the man with whom she will fall in love. The $ex scenes are erotic and intense with some scenes of spanking.
There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including most of the members of the Blazing Rebels, Ronnie’s uncle Axle, as well as the exponentially growing number of Freeway Kings MC members, their president Ray, and Ripper’s ex Anna.
RIPPER is a story of betrayal and vengeance, family and friendships, possession and love. The fast paced premise is engaging; the romance is fast and furious; the characters are charismatic and dynamic but once again, I have to question the ‘allowing’ of a woman into the MC. If an author wants their stories to be believable, an honest path must be followed, and in the ‘real world’ women are NOT allowed to become members of the all-male MCs. Women are club wh*res, old ladies, wives or working girls, but never prospects or patched in members, regardless of their family or lineage. I get it, these are fictional story lines, but believability means keeping it real.

Veronica/Ronnie is back home to be by the only family she has left. Her Uncle Axle runs a repair shop and works on Blazing Rebels MC bikes even though he isn’t a member. He and his brother, Ronnie’s father, were well known nomads at one time so he knows how MC’s work and wants to keep his niece safe. All it took was Ripper walking into the shop and all bets were off. Beside Ronnie has biker in her blood.
The Blazing Rebels MC have the Highway Kings MC looking to take over their territory and things are heating up for the club. I guess Ripper has another enemy he wasn’t aware that has returned to town as well. Now what’s worse…the club or the ex.
I loved the relationship between Ripper and Ronnie. This book was action packed “biker style” with a lot of suspense and steam.

This book can be read as a standalone, because Black does an amazing job summarizing plots from earlier in the series, but reading the series in order gives the reader a deeper understanding of the Blazing Rebels MC life. I can’t wait for to read Claymore’s story! I hope that is the next one coming in the series.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This book in the Blazing Rebels MC series is about Ripper and Ronnie. He meets her at her uncle's repair shop. From their first meeting, they certainly have an attraction that cannot be denied. Getting caught up with the MC can be both great and deadly for her. She did not know who she could really trust. Ripper will do everything he can to protect her and have her back. They could not plan for the deceit and threats that surround them though. This book has the danger, conflict rivalry, betrayal and vengeance you would expect. It also is about family, friendship, loyalty, lust and love. I thought the storyline and their fight to get what they wanted was done well. Veronica and Elias were perfect for each other

This is the fourth book in this amazing series and is Ripper and Veronica / Ronnie’s journey. Ronnie has just returned to town to be with her uncle who owns a motorcycle repair shop, and from the moment that Ripper walks into the shop, there is an intense connection between them. The Blazing MC is still recovering from attacks from their rivals, and Ripper will protect and keep Ronnie safe by any means necessary. This is a well written fast paced action-packed story, which has betrayal, secrets, danger, suspense, passion, vengeance, family, friendships, drama, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to a steamy and addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

When her relative has been taken, she must help the kidnapper,head of the Kings. She hates to do it but not sure who to turn to for help/
Ripper and the Club are having a hard time because of the Street Kings. This is someone they thought they had run out of town but they keep coming like cock roaches, when you turn on the light.
They work it out and find a mutual understanding with each other, and their love for one another makes them unstoppable.

In this fourth book in the Blazing Rebels MC series we meet Veronica aka Ronnie who works as a mechanic in her uncle's shop, it's there she met Elias aka Ripper a member of the Blazing Rebels MC, their story was fun to read but be warned it does contain adult content.
You can read their story as a standalone if you must, the author tells us anything we need to know but I would recommend reading the whole series you'll enjoy it much more that way. The storyline is fast-paced and held my attention from beginning to end. No spoilers from me you will have to read it yourself to find out what happens.

Ronnie returns to be with her uncle the only family she has and assist in his bike shop. Her uncle was a Nomad along with her father years ago and has tried to keep Ronnie away from the biker lifestyle. That becomes difficult to do when he works on the bikes of a local MC. Ripper brings his bike in for repairs when the two meet and nothing will get in thebwaybif these two and their future, not a rival MC and certainly not his ex. This book has many twists turns, danger and excitement on their way to a HEA.

An okay book. Just so many things that there's no way that it happened like in the book. The beginning I was having trouble figuring out what was going on. Felt like it jumped back and forth in time.
Possible spoilers ahead:
How can doc do surgery without anesthesia and if he had it how can he do both at the same time? Nobody's getting shot in the back and back working in a couple of weeks much less working on a car.
Please don't get me wrong that I've read other works by this author and enjoyed them but hopefully this is an early series and she has gotten better with time. We newer things I have enjoyed.
One more book to finish the series.

Ronnie moves back to her hometown and starts working in her uncles repair shop. Ripper brings his bike into the shop for repairs after being run off the road. Ripper and Ronnie keep bumping into each other and there is an instant attraction between them. Ronnie becomes friends with someone from Rippers past, the Kings are back trying to take out the Rebels and there is chaos from all angles. Tons of action and some steam keep this fast paced book moving.

Ronnie works at her Uncles bike shop. Her uncle does work on the bikes of Ripper’s group, Blazing Rebels MC. Although her uncle and her father once lived that lifestyle, they were nomads and belonged to no club. Her uncle tries to warn her to stay away from the bikers but she and Ripper have an instant connection. But nothing is ever that easy, with other clubs trying to push there way in and then a surprise from Ripper’s past. Their path to happiness turns out to be a windy road with lots of obstacles.

This is the 4th book in the Blazing Rebels MC series. The Rebels are being attacked from all side by a rival MC. This is Ripper and Veronica’s story. He meets her at a motorcycle repair shop where she works. They start seeing each other and she’s drawn in to the chaos! There’s drama and action from beginning to end in this story. Lot’s of suspense, as well. This is a very entertaining addition to the series.

This is a fun read for fans of MC fiction. Ronnie is the typical good girl, with a passion for mecanical work and especially bikes. Her job brings her into contact with Ripper, and this changes the direction her life is going in. Fast paced, with lots of action, club rivalry, jealous exes, and a whole heap of passion. This is good stuff.

I have not read a bad book from this author yet and this book is no exception! The great plot and character development kept me so engaged throughout the entire book that I had an extremely hard time putting this book down until the very last page was turned!

Highly Recommend
I enjoyed this one for sure. It was refreshing to read about the girl wanting to be part of the MC and not just as the old lady. These two are badass together. Ronnie and Ripper are my favorite so for. Can't wait to read next book.

Sweet Revenge
Secrets, lies and revenge in the MC world will destroy everything, if you don’t rely on your MC family. This is a helluva ride that you must read. Definitely recommend this book.

Disappointing. Without spoiling anything, the heroine of this novel is incredibly dumb and makes on bad decision after another. Also, she's a motorcycle mechanic but she's never ridden a motorcycle before? I honestly couldn't even finish this one.

Ronnie is the tomboy type working with her uncle who is friends with the bikers fixing bikes for the locals who drop by in need of repairs. Ronnie and Ripper are like a match made in heaven.
