#1 BEST SELLER in NEW ADULT & COLLEGE ROMANCE
What begins as a kinky game ends up as something else entirely.
When I start a new job as the Ink Factor tattoo parlor receptionist, I have no idea what to expect. My skin is virgin, so I've never stepped foot into a place like it. But it's not the graffitied walls or the crazy loud music that overwhelms me; it's the eight huge, sexy, tattooed men who own it.
Dex and Lex are twins with pierced tongues, wicked grins, and snake tattoos that disappear beneath their waistbands to goodness knows where.
Nash, Niall, and Noah are triplets who have marked their skin to make their gorgeous jacked bodies less identical.
Kase and Kole are dark and mysterious, watching everything I do with a mix of suspicion and fascination.
And Carl is the boss. With ice blue eyes and hair like a Viking, he makes my knees weak every time he gives me an order.
They hire me to sort out their admin. I spend my days trying to stay professional and my nights tangled in dreams filled with men of ink and sin. But it's when they overhear me talking to a friend about my lack of bedroom experience that things get really interesting.
They offer to help in a strictly educational kind of way. They each have a different kink, and they're confident they can help me figure out what I like. They treat it like a game, telling me to score them on satisfaction and technique. A little more experience will help me find Mr. Right-For-Me. At least that's what they say.
Except, each night I spend with them makes me more confused.
You see, my problem is that I don't want to find someone else. I think I want them all.

INKED 8 is a Tattoo Shop Reverse Harem Romance with a happy ever after ending. It's book 6 in the Multiple Love Series of standalone romances with characters who continue to make appearances!

Oh my God this was hilariously bad.

Heroine gets a job at a tattoo shop and takes up with all 8 guys who works there.

There’s a set of triplets, and two sets of twins. And not only that but their NAMES… Dex/Lex. Nash/Niall/another N name. Kade and Kole, I think? WHY. And then one straggler solo guy.

It was a fun idea… the guys each put a date idea and kink on a slip of paper and she picked one at a time to go on the date with, but the fact that there were 8 guys who we didn’t know… and we didn’t even know the heroine either… it was just ridiculous. And not even good smut.

4.5 stars.
This was really fun.
All the guys have their date with Kyla and each if them have different kinks they want her to try with them.
It’s hot, for sure.
Plus we get the guys’ POV every other chapter or so, and being able to see what’s in their head is just satisfying as all hell, especially since this is sort of a fuck buddies to HEA kind of book, and Kyla is having all these doubts about herself being enough for them. Seeing each one of them have the same thoughts about how once would never be enough for them was just perfectly reassuring for me.

The plot is super fun and something I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything quite like.
The sex was steamy and all the different kinks were executed in the best ways.
My only gripe with that is that we got a fade to black with Carl. Like what the fuck? All of the others got their time with Kyla on page and we only get the tiny bit of kink that Carl shares with her and then just a reference to them fucking later. I was not down with that. I feel a bit cheated there.
And once again, no anal, ever. And I don’t think it’s a necessity for harems, but I was just hoping we’d get some DP action in the group scenes. Instead we got DVP once again, so I’m not sure if the author just doesn’t like anal sex or what but I was a little disappointed.

Still.
I really liked it and I liked all the guys so I’m definitely calling it a win.

🎧 Audiobook Review: Inked 8 by Stephanie Brother

A reverse-harem romance featuring seven inked alpha male tattoo artists and a girl new to the tattooing scene with virgin skin.

🧍🏻‍♀️ The Heroine: Kyla

Kyla works hard at The Daily Grind coffee shop, where her manager overworks her. Her friend Dawn suggests she apply for an administrator position at Ink Factor Tattoo, believing Kyla's organizational skills make her ideal. Though Kyla doesn't see herself as fitting in there, she decides to visit the tattoo shop.

🧍🏽 The Heroes: Dex, Lex, Nash, Niall, Noah, Kase, Kole, Carl

The 8 handsome tattooed men own Ink Factor Tattoo, which is a franchised chain of shops all over the country. Despite the large cast, each character is surprisingly well-developed.

• Carl – The boss at Ink Factor and he also likes to be the boss in the bedroom. He is dominant and kinky and loves a submissive female.
• Dex and Lex – Twins that like to work together when it comes to women. Dex likes challenging puzzles and has a crazy imagination. Lex has a more easy going temperament than his brother.
• Nash, Niall and Noah – they are identical triplets with flirty and cocky attitudes. They all have different ink to differentiate themselves. Noah is entranced by Kyla from day one and stalks her a bit. Niall has a sharp tongue and quick wit.
• Kase and Kole – They are twins. Kole volunteers at a youth boxing club once a week, for kids who don’t have anyone else. People think he has a temper but actually Kase is more volatile.

📖 Plot Snapshot

Kyla gets the job right away and starts to get to know her coworkers right away. The first customer she meets is a pop star named Luna from the previous book, Steel 7. Luna has an unconventional relationship with her seven bodyguards. Between Luna and Dawn’s other friends that are in similar relationships, each with a bunch of men, Kyla is immediately immersed in a world where it is not so odd to have a harem of men at your beck and call. So when she finds herself attracted to all of her coworkers at the tattoo shop, it isn’t out of the realm of possibility to think she can be in a polyamorous relationship, though she does think that she is too ordinary for something like that.

👍 What Worked

• I enjoyed the oddity of the gang of guys, how there were triplets, two pairs of twins, and a huge viking boss.
• The steamy scenes were sexy and I love the kinks, not too deviant, but not vanilla either. Things like exhibitionism, voyeurism, role playing, bondage, eating food off a female, and more.
• I love the fact that each of the men think that Kyla is someone they want to keep even though their game is not set up for her to keep any of them.

👎 What Fell Short

• Eight men for one woman doesn’t make sense and is just too many, I like reverse harem, but that is one big harem.
• There isn’t a ton of story other than the dates she goes on with each man and the kinks they have.
• I wish all the sexy scenes would have been told mainly from the males points of view, because Connor Crais talking dirty is the best.

🎙️ Narration Highlights

Told through multiple POVs, the audiobook features dual narration by Connor Crais and Melanie Hastings

Connor Crais is one of my favorite male narrators. He has a deep, sexy voice that I could listen to all day and I don’t even care that he uses the same voice for multiple characters. His harsh but soft voice during the intimate scenes was so hot.
Melanie Hastings has a soft, youthful tone which is very enjoyable. She is able to project vulnerability and strength with subtlety. Though there is something about the way she talks that I don’t really like. She isn’t exactly whiny, but I think it is the way she stretches out some words. Her voice for male characters isn’t bad at all, which is great for the dual narration style.

💬 Quotes

“Haven’t you heard that the bush is back?”

“If eight inked gods want to show me a good time. Who the hell am I to say no.”

“There is enough variety in our predilections to blow Kyra’s mind”

“She’s naked and perfect, and I’m hungry for my dessert.”

💋💋💋

Really enjoyed reading this book, it’s set in a tattoo parlour with eight wonderful men, triplets, two sets of twins and a beautiful Viking type of gent. What more could you ask for.
It’s R/H all consensual play, and lots of steam, as well as a very well thought out storyline from Stephanie.
Enjoyable read and very satisfying too.

WASTE OF TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this book was incredible boring and surface level, like every date she would someone say something “deep” and that is how they got their “connection”, how on earth am i supposed to believe all these people love each other with literally nothing in common???? well besides they’re ability to say random bullshit.

there’s no chemistry, no flavor, no connection, not even the sex scenes were good, like this is supposed to be a kink game how does someone manage to make that so boring and tasteless, that is real talent right there.

i wish i could take all time i wasted in this book into something else literally anything, this is so incredibly boring that it made want to read about math, witch i loathe. so if you want to read this, please don’t, save yourself some time and go like clean your house or something.

I love a reverse Harem but the most annoying thing is keeping track of each of their names and personalities. Tell me why of the 8 men the author was like, "yeah I'll have two sets 0f twins and one set of triplets, and all of the siblings' names will either rhyme or start with the same letter".

i wasn’t expecting a good plot line and i was kind right about it. the author tried to write a plot but it was lacking in all areas. there are triplets and two sets of twins and each sibling group acts the same like you can’t tell them apart, and they only real was is from their tattoos. the spice was there..it was there but colleen hoover books are spicer. the female mc was ok i wanna think she had some character development but she really didn’t. the female mcs friend is a big no for me she’s so ugh. anyways i think i will read the rest of this series since i started with the last book.

uhm… oddly Eurocentric? idk

This guy does a 23 and Me, discovers that he’s 20% Scandinavian, and decides to center his identity on his “Viking” heritage. Cool.

Also in the description of one of the guys types, he specifies “milky white skin” as one of the qualities of his perfect woman. Odd (to me at least) but moving on, whatever.

The plot itself was mediocre, which made for an easy (but sometimes boring) read. Lots of stuff that didn’t make sense; by themselves, they’re easy to ignore, but they start to add up and get annoying. Didn’t really get to know any of the characters.

No glowing reviews but also no heavy criticism. Just mid.

To Anna: Yes, I’m very ashamed to have read this book. Don’t read it!!! This book didn’t really have a plot apart from sex and even the sex scenes were badly written and felt somehow incomplete. The star I gave it is actually a star for myself for finishing this mess of a RH.

There is twins Dex and Lex, triplets Nash,Niall, and Noah, twins Kase and Kole and Carl and she thinks to herself they all hot. This is not my first book by Stephanie Brother. And the best part is that she is able to make each person as different as each human on the planet.
Stephanie Brother makes sure that you are intimately introduced to each main character. Which to me feels like meeting new friends.
The writing pulls at your heart...makes you want to fight for love, and will make you not want to put the book down!!! I cant get enough of the characters. The emotion that you can feel through each page. Love that makes your heart want to...re-read.

I was giving a ARC of this book and I was so happy!! I love sweet (and a bit bad) tattooed guys in my books and this book didn’t disappoint in that front!
I already have read a lot of Stephanie her books and she really never disappoints. What I loved about this one is how wel al the guys are being described and really come to live true these descriptions. I loved the game idea and the sweet HEA at the end. If you are are looking for a sweet, hot and a little bit kinky book this one is for you!

great read

Stephanie Brother is such an amazing RH writer, the storyline is perfection with the highs and lows - the sexual tension and the steam.
It’s got 8 hot AF inked up men, on which most are multiple births - twins and triplets.
Overall a great read, as with all Stephanie’s books I couldn’t put it down until the very last word.

Well....

I gave it a try because it was set in a tattoo shop.
It's poorly written, the plot has so many holes, and every chapter is basically just another kink scene.
Props to the author for writing this, I just wasn't a fan.

Good, solid, easy fun.

There was so much to love and enjoy here.
The kinks were on the lighter, gentler side (yay). The underlying feminist message was awesomely done!
Particularly liked the manifesto snippets within. Excellent writing there.

Due to the number of guys involved, there wasn’t as much story outside of the sex as I would have liked.
Particularly the draw for the men to the FMC. That wasn’t as developed as it could have, should have been.
Her inner monologue was also a little draining at times, since her character never seemed to grow or mature…

There was a depth missing here, that could have taken this to another level of storytelling.
Just as the end scene was seriously cringe, and not equal to other parts of the book.
That definitely needed some editing.

The whole justification for the RH relationship wasn’t as well developed or believable as it could have, should have been.

Overall, this was a fun, flirty, easy read, extremely well done.
While I couldn’t buy into all of it, I did thoroughly enjoy the entertainment, and was never once offended or upset, regardless of personal preferences.

Educated and verbalised consent was clear and present in a way that was gratifying and relaxing!

“This girl might be small. She might lack confidence in herself and need to be organized to almost crazy levels to hold herself together, but she has power. Power to love and power to bond. Power to make all of us devoted to her, and to the life we can make with her.”

Tropes ✨
🌹Reverse Harem

Quick synopsis: Kyla starts working at the tattoo shop which is owned by 8 friends. When they overhear her discussing her sex life and her sexy new colleagues with her friend, they offer to help her. 8 dates, 8 kinks. New experiences to explore so she can decide what she likes. But they catch feelings along the way.

Hero’s:
💎Carl, Dominant-Submissive
💎Kase, Public Sex
💎Kole, Role-Play Strangers
💎Nash, Group Sex
💎Noah, Bondage
💎Niall, Outdoor Sex
💎Lex, Body Dessert
💎Dex, Voyeurism

Heroine: Kyla, sweet but bold. She was a good FMC.

What I thought: We read books like this for a reason, so wasn’t expecting greatness 😝 Easy, sexy, satisfying read. Multiple POV.

What I liked✨
Nash and Niall were my favourites, they were so sweet with how they talked to her 🥰

What I didn’t like
😠Hated Dawn, Kyla’s friend. She was fucking annoying. I know the author meant her to come across as supportive but I didn’t like her.

Quotes✨

“I want us to share Kyla because we’ve shown that we can. We’ve shown that we can handle being with her separately and as a unit. We work well together, and we play well together. She’s become a friend as well as a lover. She’s perfect for all of us.”

"We love you. We want you. We're not going to let you leave us."

“Happiness surges, and my hands move to draw Nash closer until my legs are wrapped around his back and he’s holding me so tightly I almost can't breathe. "Do you want to let someone else take a turn?" Noah says from above us, and I feel Nash's lips quirk with amusement. Even though he's reluctant, he steps aside for his brother to take his place. And that's how it goes. I'm passed from man to man, sinking into loving kisses and tight embraces, being shared by brothers and friends without jealousy.”

My favorite Stephanie Brother book I've read so far! Oh, the storyline with this one is amazing! Kyla is struggling with the dating scene after her last break-up and is stuck at a job she hates. Her friend, Dawn, comes to visit her at work one day after getting a new tattoo, YOLO, with a job proposition she heard about at the tattoo shop. The men at the tattoo shop are drowning in paperwork and struggling to keep things organized and they need someone with strong organization skills. Cue Kyla! She LOVES to organize but is scared to quit her job at the coffee shop. From the minute she walks into the tattoo shop, everyone notices. After one of the guys overhears her conversation with Dawn about her love life a "game" is created and kinks are explored. Yummy! Stephanie has really written beautiful characters in her guys this book. With so many guys they can blend together but we get to see the story from each of their POV and that helps to differentiate them. All I can say is I devoured this book and I encourage you to do the same!
