Long Night Stands With Lonely, Lonely Boys

Rate this book
Long Night Stands with Lonely, Lonely Boys is a culmination of the many lives and loves of Augustine Paredes. This book started as a photography project in 2014 and has been developed for over five years. What began as a documentation of encounters with different people in different places turned out to be a journey of seeking home overseas, filling voids, and understanding love and longing.

The cover features an artwork by painter Erika Mayo based on Augustine's photograph A Boy Sleeping In Hostel Beirut. This book also celebrates Filipino writers—a foreword by curator and writer Carlos Quijon Jr., a letter by NYLON Manila EIC Angelo Ramirez de Cartagena, poems by writers Anna Bernice and Renee Ultado, and an afterword by artist Anna Miguel Cervantes. The book is designed by Manila-based design duo, Cara Santiago and Carlo Saavedra.
