The Hunter #2

Hunter’s Promise

Rate this book
I was strong, I was deadly, I was a Hunter
Until I became more.

There was an enemy with a plan to take over all vampirekind.
They were creating revenants that were smarter than they should be.
They listened, they followed directions, they killed.

They killed me.

Amazing! I Loved it from Start to Finish

Book Two picks up right where Book One left off with Ivy seeking the truth about the tragedy that occurred while she was held captive. Together with Crispen, she tries to unravel the secret behind Iris’ disappearance. Old enemies are confronted and new ones are discovered in the second installment of this amazing trilogy.

R. Sullins does not disappoint in this book. I love how the relationship between Ivy and Crispen has grown and matured and Ivy has finally come into her own as a skilled hunter. As in HUNTER’S BLOOD, Ivy and Crispen share some very steamy scenes that are guaranteed to melt your Kindle screen! There were a few surprises in this book. I won’t spoil them. Just know that if you loved Book One, you will absolutely adore this book!

I cannot wait to read the conclusion of this amazing series! Highly recommend you read this entire series if you haven’t already started.

Happy reading!

When she goes to see her sister she’s met with a gruesome scene, he adopted mother has been murdered and her sister is missing and turned into the thing that Ivy is supposed to hunt and kill, she knows she has to be the one to hunt down her sister but a lapse in concentration leaves her and Jared fighting for their lives, Crispin must work fast to save them both.

Still love this!!

This is the 2nd book in this wonderful series!! Ivy and Crispin are back and they are still fighting against the person who is taking Hunters and making those devolved creatures. And... her mother is back!!! Yay. This book is still action packed but has a lot more of ivy and Crispins love in it.

Unfortunately, the antagonist does something truly horribly to Ivys twin and now she has to take care of it herself so no other people get hurt. Except she does get hurt and Crispin has to make the decision to turn her... the only person he'd ever turn.

Absolutely adore this series!

I received an ARC for my honest review!

Katerina the evil vampire killed her sister’s nurse and turned her sis into a revenant, so Ivy was hunting her sister to kill her before she killed quite a few people. But they walked into a trap where Jared and her almost died but Crispin turned her and another vampire turned Jared to save them. Finally found her sister and killed her then her mother captured Katerina. When questioning Katerina Sean one of Crispin’s sentinels who was helping Katerina ended killing her trying to get her out. Good book!.

In this second book, Crispin and Ivy are still getting closer and trying to find out who all is connected with Katerina and the whole taking Hunters and making the revenants and stop them. In this exciting and fun book two, the plot thickens and unexpected things happen within Ivy’s immediate family and Crispin’s inner circle. I hope there are more books in the future good series!

Sometimes the second book isn’t usually as good as the first boy was I wrong about this book it’s entertaining, thrilling and nail biting so bring on book 3. There is an evil female who makes an army of new born vampires/ revenants she captures Ivy’s sister now the race is on for Ivy and Crispin to get her sister back or will they be too late?. I loved this story, the action, suspense and danger and I highly recommend this book/ series.

The story line and character work were good. The book had a fairly smooth flow to it. This was a good addition to the series and while I enjoyed the book, I still could not seem to connect to the characters.

A Deadly Enemy . . .

Ivy Moore had taken care of her sister since the horrible accident when they were teens, giving up years of her life because of that accident that was never her fault. With the help of a powerful vampire king, Crispin Decius, she found out she was a strong, deadly Hunter. Now the insane Katerina is building an army of monsters fed on Hunter’s blood. She has captured Ivy’s sister and is tormenting Ivy with her vengeful threats. As insane as she is, they may be much more than just threats. Can Ivy get her sister back? Can Crispin and Ivy find and defeat Katerina before she destroys everything and everyone in her path?

This is an intriguing story line with compelling characters and suspense over what the insane Katerina is up to next with her evil army. There seems to be no stopping her!
