This is a 50k word novella in the Hunter series world.
It may be read as a standalone, but you would find most enjoyment by reading the series.

I loved this side story about jerad the hunter!
again great worldbuilding, wonderfull charcaters, easy to read.
it did start slow at first this story.
But i still loved this story.

After a slow start, ‘Jared’ is an action packed romance that takes usual Vampire tropes and flips them on their head.

A quick read, with some interesting, complex characters, I highly recommend this book to lovers of action, mystery and romance.

I have never read a book by R. Sullins, but "Jared: The Hunter" was a really awesome book. I enjoyed the way it was written and how Jared and Jenna meshed together. This is my first time reading a book that is strictly about being a mate to someone. It was a very interesting read to see how they interacted with each other.

This story is about Jared, a vampire, who is protecting someone as his job. While he was doing this, he discovered who his mate was. Ever since then he was determined to have her. Luckily she felt the same way about him. Once Jared finds out what his power is then everything breaks loose.

I loved how R. Sullin wrote Jenna. She was very relatable and made me root for her with all of her life problems. I love when I can relate to a character because then I know exactly what would be going through her head at the time of a specific event or act.

I enjoyed how Jared disappeared out of Jenna's life for a bit and then came back into it. It made the romance that much more exciting. This book made me want to explore the series more. I am now looking to get a copy of the first and second book in The Hunter series.

I rate this book a 5/5 stars. I loved how the author wrote it and completed the story in such a short way. It made for a really interesting read and has made me want more.

Jared (The Hunter’s series book 2.5) by R Sullins is a 5 ⭐️ read.
Jared found out about vampires from his brother who was dating one and who wanted to be turned instead of waiting for permission to be turned his gf turned him but he ended up being a revenant and Jared ended up having to kill him, from then on Jared tried to find out as much as he could about vampires and he went to the local vampire king, who took him in and gave him a job. He was tasked with being the bodyguard of the local hunter and in doing this job he met his future mate. But when he’s turned to a vampire before he’s decided what he wants to do his life changes very quickly and he sets out to get his mate by his side.
Jenna has run away from home and a cruel step father who has decided to give her away to a man possibly more cruel than he is. Stopping in a small town she quickly finds a job as a waitress and meets Jared who sparks an interest in her, but when her home is almost broken into buy some locals and Jared comes to her rescue she needs to trust him to protect her from her past.
I really enjoyed reading Jared’s story and would highly recommend this whole series.

I loved this book so much, I read the first two books in this series and thought this was just going to be a little side story (given it's book 2.5) this book however is able to stand up on it's own, the characters are interesting and make you want to get to know them. The author was able to make Jenna soft and vulnerable without making her weak and whiney which was brilliant. I think this book is worth a read wherther or not you have read the other two.

This book is a novella in the hunter series. It can be read as a standalone but would be better as a series.
Jared has been turned into a vampire which he didn't agree to, as he adjusts to life as a vampire he wants to find a mate and has his heart set on Jenna, who has runaway from a abusive step father and wants to find away to save her mum.
This book is well written and I really enjoyed the story. Looking forward to reading more from the author.

This story was so different than any vampire story I’ve read. It took things I thought I knew about vampires and tossed them out the window.

I felt like the story started slow but once it picked up did it pick up!! Ugh I couldn’t put it down after I got past the first couple of chapters. It was so so good!!

Definitely recommend reading about Jared!

This series are all great. A few typos and grammatical errors, but I do mean a few. This series grabbed me from the start and I cannot wait for more. The slightly new twist on vampires makes this a refreshing read. Try it, you will like it, if like me you devour all things paranormal.

Jared: The Hunter Book 2.5

This was a very interesting and different story! There was some violence in it but not a lot, just enough to keep it more interesting. I loved how thy worked her Mother into the story helping to make it a very satisfying read.
I would recommend this book to other readers. Not your run of the mill vampire story but a really good read!

Jenna and Jared

What great story we met Jared in The Hunter books, but this is his story. What a great ride! A lot action, mystery and murder is in Jenna life. Jared is her hero! What great book. Hits all my requirements: action, mystery, drama and romance with some laughter.
