Seth Taylor is used to living life as a lone wolf, going where duty calls him. ***
When Seth Taylor rolls into Harmony, Texas, a second chance with Camila Hartman isn’t even on the table. Her crystal-clear blue eyes bore ice daggers into him at first sight. One small gesture from Seth cracks her frigid exterior, resulting in cycles of vulnerability and fiery outbursts which confuse and incite a yearning within him.
Cami wasn’t ready for her world to be turned upside down once again by a man who does as he pleases. His Greek godlike physique, warm eyes, and sweet promises twist her brain, tease her body, and tantalize her heart. Unable to control her desire to know how real that unforgettable night was, Cami exposes her insecurities to the only man who ever haunted her dreams.
Will Seth maintain patience with the volatile Cami and prove he’s moving in the same direction as she is? Or will she let fear win over love, trust, and promises?

⭐ You don't have to read the first 3 books but you may want to, here's what one ARC reader had to say: This was the first book in the series that I read, and now I am eager to go back and start the series from the beginning. If you start the series with this terrific story, you won't have any problem of missing backstories. You might however share my regret at not starting the series earlier!
The fourth book in the Finding Happiness In Harmony series, Finding Promises is that feeling you get when you smell fresh air dried laundry or a delicious home cooked meal. It's comfort, it's relaxing, and it's glorious. With Seth and Camilla's story, we have love, second chance and a beautiful small town romance. This book is swoony with just the right amount of spice.
This is the first book I've read in the Finding Happiness in Harmony collection and can be read completely as a stand alone. The story offers a second chance romance between Seth, an ex-marine with a complicated past and Cami, a local cafe owner who suffers from a learning disability. I instantly fell for Seth, his quiet strength, his devotion to the woman he cares for and his sense of right and wrong. Cami is a self proclaimed firecracker and she had me alternating between cheering and yelling at her. She makes mistakes, but she owns up to them and for me this makes her a layered and realistic character.
Stacey Komosinski has created a universe of close knit, family value orientated, relatable characters in her small town of Harmony where the residents work, play, love and care for each other. I've never been to Texas but I'd love to visit this fictional town or the one the author has based it on because she has created a community where the place and the people came alive for me.
If you like insta-love, slow burns worth the wait, sweet heat, slice of life in small towns and romances where promises are made and kept, this story is for you.
Happiness in Harmony began as a coming of age series built around 3 young women, Chloe, Gabby and Jesse who met their freshman year in college and remained best friends after graduation sharing a townhouse in the imaginary Texas city of Galorstan. As the series progressed, as each of the young women found the loves of their lives, they all migrated to the nearby small town of Harmony which was the Gabby character’s hometown. Her widowed mother had become the pseudo mother figure to both Chloe and Jesse during their college years. In Finding Promises the author has chosen to extend the series beyond the stories of the original three characters and written a book around Jesse’s younger brother Seth a Marine, and Cami who owns a small café and has become a close friend of the three women. Their story began towards the end of Jesse’s book in the series Finding You Completes Me, where Seth, on leave from the Marines and Cami got together for a night of passion which apparently didn’t include penetrative sex because Cami while no virgin isn’t a one-night stand kind of girl. Seth leaves the next morning to return to duty in the Middle East. His communications with Cami from that point on are far from romantic love letters leaving Cami feeling as though Seth is just continuing to communicate with her out of a sense of obligation rather than having true feelings for her. Cami’s biggest issue for much of this story is that she feels more for Seth than he does for her. Seth for his part was trying not to be too romantic because as much as he liked Cami he didn’t feel its fair to ask a young woman he barely knew for 24 hours to wait for him while he’s deployed overseas in a war zone and is committed to making the Marines his career for the next twenty or so years. When Seth returned briefly to Harmony for his sister Jesse and Logan’s wedding a very hurt Cami gives him the cold shoulder making it clear to him she wants nothing to do with him. As this story starts with Seth finds himself unexpectedly on inactive reserve status and back in Harmony, Cami continues to treat Seth like something that fell out of the south end of a horse going north. At this point in the story Cami is a bit of a hot mess with some serious insecurity issues that continue to threaten her and Seth’s potential relationship. The title of this book Finding Promises comes from Seth consistently making promises to Cami to reassure her that he’s not going to leave her again. The author gives this book a bit of a different story arc than most romances which honestly, I didn’t mind. About half way through their story Seth and Cami have managed to put most of the issues (Cami’s insecurities) that were causing them problems behind them. They’re living together and dealing with the day to day issues most small business owners and new couples have to deal with. The rest of their story is watching them grow closer as Seth romantically reassures Cami he’s in it with her forever. There’s plenty of sex because as Cami tells us and Seth, she’s insatiable when it comes to wanting him and Seth being a guy in his late twenties and in excellent condition is more than willing to keep Cami’s libido happy. There may not be the usual 11th hour relationship crisis for this couple to overcome in this story that is standard in most contemporary romance arcs, but there is the big romantic gesture at the end that every good romance story requires. There is plenty of the three founding couples of this series Chloe and Chris, Jesse and Logan and Gabby and Brad present as we get to see how their now marriages are going and they all support each other. Splendidly of course. The author also devotes some time introducing some new characters and not being the least bit coy about whom the future couples in this series will be. Since Cami expresses her intention to play matchmaker in most of them, I’m sure we haven’t seen the last of her. Seth I’m certain was a very swoon worthy male lead for the ladies and although I sometimes found her insecurities that regularly manifested in a lack of trust more annoying than Seth seemed to, I couldn’t help but like Cami. She was the epitome of passionate whether it was her feelings and desire for Seth or her protectiveness of her friends. I’m looking forward to the next book in this series while wondering which of the four potential couples she will feature?
Finding Promises is the fourth book in the Finding Happiness in Harmony series and it is a beautifully written romance with emotion and steaminess. Ms. Komosinski gives us the story of Seth and Cami, their history and the relationship that they have formed when Seth is back in town. Seth is in the military and met Cami when on a leave for a wedding. They had a connection but he left and in turn broke Cami's heart. Years later Seth returns however his arrival was not met with open arms by Cami. Still hurting from having her heart broken, Cami tries to stay away but there is just something about Seth that has her wanting him, a pull that she cannot resist. The pull between them is strong that it scares Cami in more ways than one. First, she doesn't want to give her heart to Seth and watch him leave again and second, she feels that she is a weak woman for not being able to resist him and that he seems to have complete control over her. Is this something that she should be worried about? Is the fact that Seth wants to put roots down and does what he can to show her how he cares, give Cami some relief and get her to open her heart?
Jealousy, miscommunication and fear almost ruin what Cami has always wanted. Can she see that what she feels is not something that should be ashamed of but something that shows she is in love? When Seth and Cami get together the pages are on fire. They are the perfect fit for one another. I
Finding Promises is one book that you will absolutely love and not want to put down. It is sweet, a fantastic read and will make you feel good. A terrific HEA
This is the fourth book in this series, and this is Seth and Camilla’s story. Seth is a lone wolf who goes where duty calls him, and when he leaves the marines, he heads to a small town to see Camilla, a café owner, determined to convince her to give him a second chance. Cami is feisty, vulnerable, and insecure, and is afraid to trust Seth again. Will Seth be able to convince Cami to trust him again? This is a well written story which is a sweet story, with friendships, family, insecurities, promises, second chances, emotions, and love, which leads to a great small-town romance. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
Finding Promises is a great second chance book with all the feels!
Seth and Camilla has me on my toes following their relationship and at times i had no idea which way Camilla was going to go, which path she would decide. She had trust issues and was hesitant to trust again. But Seth was persistant and determined to win Camilla over once more now that he has left the life of being a Marine and heads straight to the small town and Cafe where he knows he will find Camilla..
This was a great read and will go back and read the rest of the books in the series. 4 1/2 stars!
I loved Seth and Cami. It was so good to be able to visit Harmony Texas to catch up with their family and friends. Makes me want to visit Harmony Texas. Thank you so much Stacey.
Finding Promises is book 4 in the already awesome Finding Happiness in Harmony series written by the talented author Stacey Komosinski. This series has been the absolute best with its beautiful stories and characters. This is Seth Taylor and Camila Hartman second chance romance story that takes place in the small town of Harmony, Texas. Cami & Seth have a magnetic pull and chemistry that is off the charts when she put her doubts aside. Love all the characters!! I highly recommend it!
This is a sweet story - Cami and Seth get there timing right finally. It’s a true Texas novel complete with guns and hunting but that’s not the main point - fear of commitment and insecurity brings 2 people together and makes their love stronger than ever. Can’t wait for the next one!
💜 MINI BOOK REVIEW: Finding Promises is again a story of love, friendship, and family. While Book 1, 2, and 3 focused on Chloe's, Gaby's, and Jess' story, Book 4 focuses on Jess' brother, Seth.
Seth came to Harmony after leaving the marines. He is hoping and determined to have a second chance with Cami after their encounter a year ago and leaving her, making her feel like he's not interested in her.
I appreciated the character development of both Seth and Cami. Seth has been mentioned a lot in Book 3 as he's one of Jess' brother's, so reading a story that focuses on his is a treat. I also loved to read about Chloe and Chris, Gaby and Brad, and Jess and Logan again. Ooh and the cute, little Ruthie. I loved reading about the friendship of Chloe, Gaby, and Jess in the previous books. This book I read about Cami's friendship with Rachael and also the friendship she formed with Tarah.
Overall, I think this book is not just about having a second chance on love but also having a second chance in life. A second chance to pick yourself up. That is why I love this book. Plus the sweet and steamy scenes here and there 🤭. I finished reading this book smiling, contented and of course, excited for the next one. eeling satisfied. 😁
Well after a long time I get to read this book and it is really good and I enjoyed the Texas vibe and the characters from other books and also the other new characters.
About the characters: Cami and Seth who really wants to give their relationship another chance however cami has a fear of commitment and insecurity because of Seth's past behaviour and it was the real barrier for their relationship and it was really nice how Seth assured her in every situation of her insecurity and how they keep their promises to each other.
Those who love second chance, small-town, HEA then go for this one.
You need to read the previous book in this series to get the story background of this book.
𝐌𝐲 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐬: This is my first book by the author and the 4th book in her 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐈𝐧 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬. After reading Seth & Cami's book, I will definitely be going back and starting the series from the beginning.
This book was everything I love about romance and more. It is a big old warm hug and all the swoony, feel good moments you'd expect from a small town, second chance romance.
Seth & Cami don't have an easy time to get to their hea, but it was absolutely worth all the hurt feeling, miscommunication & distance between them. It just made for a delicious Slow-burn romance that I couldn't put down. Highly recommend

When Seth Taylor left the marines, under questionable circumstances, he headed for Harmony Texas. Having a second chance with Camila Hartman isn’t in the cards, but he isn’t able to turn away from the woman he never forgot. He’s ready to make changes in his future and hopes that Cami will play an important part of his life. She never forgot him and is afraid to trust him. They’re both vulnerable to their feelings but love has a way of overriding insecurities. This book is a combination of sexy and sweet. Looking forward to the next one in the series.
Let's Texas! Great story continuing the adventures of a group of close friends in Harmony and the challenges and victories they experience as singes, couples, and families. Lots of local color transports the reader to the great state of Texas. Get to know Seth and Cami and I guarantee you'll be taken on a journey your won't soon forget.
This book was so incredible! Cami and Seth shared some time together before Seth had to leave. When he returns, he thinks that they can just pick up where they left off. Boy, was he mistaken! Cami glared at him. Seth was able to break through her barriers. For some reason, Seth and Cami make sense together; getting there will be a challenge! I am voluntarily leaving this review.
A book full of sweet, swoony and spicy moments. This romance will have you hooked from beginning to end. It's well written and the author makes the storyline completely believable. A very entertaining book.
Another adventure of two people falling in love. Stacey keeps you interested right up to the end. So much that you want more. . . Thank goodness another book is on its way!
A chance meeting and one wild night between a beautiful young woman and a handsome marine sounds like there will be a happily ever after ending. But will there be? Cami is angry and hurt when Seth returns to active duty and fails to meet her expectations long distance. She tries dating guys that don't really make her heart pound, and she never expects she will have another chance with Seth. Frankly her temper and roller coaster emotions almost caused disaster more than once. When Seth gets reactivated for a special assignment, it looks doubtful he will ever be able to get Cami to be with him.
This book had so many sweet moments where vulnerabilities are exposed and dealt with in such a kind and loving way by Seth. Atypically, he seemed to work harder in the relationship than Cami. She came off as immature and unreasonable at times. She definitely had a chip on her shoulder.
The sweetest thing about the book was the importance of family members of all ages. Friendships for both Seth and Cami gave wonderful balance to their lives. I loved the way the author allowed her characters to be miserable but not dwell on problems. I also liked the openness of characters when new people came to the town.
This was the first book in the series that I read, and now I am eager to go back and start the series from the beginning. If you start the series with this terrific story, you won't have any problem of missing backstories. You might however share my regret at not starting the series earlier! This is a warm and sweet book, and plenty of adult scenes between Claire and Seth showing love and selflessness.
This is another sweet read in the Finding Happiness in Harmony series. I've enjoyed the friends, the closeness to each other and the connections that are being made. Cami and Seth had that connection and this story takes on the journey of them finding that again. I loved Seth, his story, his pull to Cami and how he is with his family. I didn't connect with Cami quite as much, she was so hot and cold, over and over, with Seth that I felt myself rolling my eyes at her. There is a lot of gun talk, hunting and particular parts of that, to me, weren't necessary for the story. I debated this review and went with a four star as I felt Seth and the other characters, how those things flowed and played out, made up for what I didn't connect with.
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
