United delivers all the excitement of Gifted and then some, with an excellent balance of fast-paced combat and careful sleuthing and a healthy sprinkling of humor throughout. However, where United really shines is in regards to character development. Hartley really grows as a person and struggles with how to protect those she loves while still doing the right thing. Watching her overcome these situations is an emotional rollercoaster, and you'll want to root for her all the way. Thanks for such an incredible read, and I can't wait for the next one in the series!
