Val McMullen emerges from hiding and must find out what happened to her family.

When she finally dares to venture from her hiding hole, Val finds the ruins of their farm house. Searching for any connection to her kids, she discovers Beth Minster on the website of the Swan Valley Guided Tours and sends a letter.

Little does she know that this act will not only endanger own life but that of an old friend from her past.

Dan Minster is still grieving for his mate five years after her death. When his pack leader sends him out to rescue Val, he resents both the mission and the company he has to keep.

Little does he know that this mission can completely change his life – if he takes the danger seriously.

Can Val escape the Hunters and find happiness again? Can Dan let go of grief and rediscover who he really is?

I'm a writer, dreamer and creator of worlds. I love taking my readers onto journeys into far-away lands where things are different and yet humans are still the same.
I live in the North of Germany, where seagulls scream, the wind never rests, and people are friendly.

I thoroughly enjoyed this series, and as this final book came to a close, I knew I would miss these wolves. Hannah Steenbock created a world that was fun to visit and hard to leave. I look forward to reading more of her books.
