Tyler Sharpe has a secret that only his best friend Penny knows about. When his secrets come to light, will he be able to persuade the woman he's falling for to stand by his side?

Another fun read filled with a ton of mystery, suspense, comradery and tons and tons of laughs. I seriously laughed through the entire story.
Tyler was a character this time around, his boredom left him to be adventurous, and the trouble it got him into lead to some really hilarious moments.
Sunny was a super fun character. We loved Sunny's sense of humor and her laugh and vibrant personality. The things she did to Tyler were priceless! We have never laughed so hard and her antics comical.
Loved the slow burn romance that sizzled between Tyler and Sunny, they were perfect for one another, she reminded me a lot like Penny. Their chemistry beautiful. We loved seeing another side to Tyler and what made him tick and who he is and why his protective instincts seem to be a bit over the top sometimes. We finally got some answers to the mysterious man...
Overall an awesome read for us, we loved it! The story took some twists and turns and had one heck of a whopping surprise that we did not see coming, which made the story more intriguing than ever. As always, loving seeing our favorite characters return to the pages once again. If you have not read this series, you are missing out, we highly recommend it!
Oh My, I think this is one of my favorites of the series. As per her style, Giulia has given us a well written storyline that had me smiling, laughing and lost in the small town and characters that make up this awesome series. This is Tyler and Sunny’s story but trust me we see the usual cast of characters both main and secondary. It’s another book, in this reader opinion, that keeps the series getting better and better.
Three adults as roommates? Yeah that makes for some hilarious times (especially when one goes snoopy because they're bored). Secrets coming out that one really wanted kept in the past? Yeah that causes a bit of strife and stress. Friends that are protective and there for you? As they say Priceless.
I can’t recommend this slow burn romance (or the entire series for that matter) enough. They are all Must reads. You can’t go wrong with great storylines that have humor, comorroderay, mystery, romance with lots of craziness and suspense. Grab them up right now, you won’t regret it.
"I've never been very patient." "I have a feeling the wait will be more than worth it."
When we first met Tyler in “The Dirty” I loved him and quickly joined the fans who were wishing he would get his own book and it didn’t disappoint. Tyler is protective, gentlemanly, and has the kind of moves that could sweep you off your feet. With secrets that he struggles with and didn’t want getting out his story had a lot more to it than I was expecting and I couldn’t get enough. Summer was an anxious over thinker but also head strong. Her teasing nature matched perfectly with Tyler’s and I loved the banter between them.
They get off to a rough start so the relationship becomes a slow burn one that is enjoyable to see unfold. The attraction keeps building and Tyler wants to do things the “right way” but because you know these two will be good together you just want to see it happen. Giulia also gives us some slow unfolding storylines which go perfectly with the romance side of the book. The side characters as always bring an extra special something to Giulia’s books and it was great to see the return of old favourites and see some more of characters that haven’t been as prominent. There are some truly funny and humorous scenes in this book and I couldn’t stop smiling or laughing during some of them. With all the teasing, the chemistry, the tension, the humour, and the suspense this is a book that will drag you into its world and before you know it you’ve read more than you realise.
If you want to find out why you should never go snooping through your roommates’ things when bored then you have to read this. If that’s not enough of an incentive then the romance, the humour, and the reveal of secrets that people want left buried should be all the knowledge you need to go and read this now.
How the author gives fans such diverse characters every time is a wonder. This one has all of her bests.
Above and beyond his duty, Tyler follows her to warn her about a low tire. He is obsessed with making sure she isn't hurt by a bad tire. That isn't the only protective measure he takes. While swearing it isn't because she's hot. He didn't even notice.
Any woman may be concerned with some of his actions but THIS ONE oh wow.
So begins what turns out to give us lots of information about these two. Really a perfect match if they can get past their unique personalities. Of course, we get to enjoy our old friends in this everyone knows everything town. Great characters, intrigue, humor--another winner.
If your looking for a book full of laughs aswell as alittle suspence then this book is for you Tyler is a local cop that sees himself injured and needing the help of Summer a physical therapist who isn't having a good run trying to get her building expansion approved. And it seems the teasing between these two definitely heats up. No one was prepared for just how close the family ties go in this town and how alot of things seem connected. Love that Tyler gets some closer where his father was concerned. Summer like almost all the women of this town has a few quirks or is alittle nutty in some regard lol but damn who in the world goes through nearly 9mth of pregnancy and doesn't tell their parents..definitely a weird one. If you can take away and learn one thing from this book it would be Do not under any circumstances go snooping where your not supposed to can lead you into some tricky situations that can also traumatise others besides yourself.
Best line Carter- Gossip travels in a small town like herpes in a W- house. Best scenes ever when the inspection officer turns up and both Summer and Paige are discussing BDSM. KO by chopping board definitely not living that one down.
Tyler is a police officer with a heart of gold who is a loyal friend and co-worker. His attempt to be a Good Samaritan backfires and that was before he required her professional skills.
Summer isn’t certain about Tyler as he suddenly seems to be appearing everywhere she is but their encounters are certainly entertaining.
Humorous interactions, eccentric characters, secrets, surprises and a little suspense as Tyler and Summer prove they are perfect for each other in every way.
Tyler......what a dream. So protective, yes borderline obsessive, but with the best of intentions. I
Summer, slightly neurotic but so adorable. Just the right sass to but Tyler on his place.
Tyler's past is difficult f him to accept and he pushes everyone away because of it. Everyone but Summer, he wants to keep her, but someone is already trying to take her away from him.
Tyler and Summer - This couple story has it all. It even reminds you that living with a bunch of people is not a means to an end. Penny the perfect best friend, and Lucas the perfect work partner all come together to help their friend Tyler. We learn a lot about Tyler and why he is the way he is. I want to explain so much, but I don't want to spoil it for anyone. You need to read this story, along with every other story written. You will laugh, cry, and show all emotions with Giulia's stories.
I laugh so hard when i read Giulia Lagomarsino's stories.... This story is a lesson in why you shouldn't live with 3 adult roommates or "borrow" their things because you're bored, as well as also being a reminder that your past or where you come from does not define you. You define your own future. Tyler and Summer are awesome together. You don't need to read previous books in the series but don't deny yourself the pleasure. They are fun!!
This book had everything I’ve come to expect in a Giulia Lagomarsino novel and I truly enjoyed it.
The fierce protectiveness Penny has towards her best friend is finally explained and it makes perfect sense, I love them both more for it. Tyler’s relationship with his work partner, Lucas was amusing as is the way he and Summer connect.
I enjoyed learning about Tyler’s past as well, as it’s been hinted at in previous books.
What a fun book to read!! I want to say so much about this book but I don’t want to give spoilers. Tyler and Summer are great for each other. This town reminds me a lot of my little town we live in. Everyone is in everyone’s business. If you want to know something check out the towns FB page or go to the bakery bc everyone gossips! What a fun series!
Another fun book! Giula writes wonderful characters, always about a bubble off a plumb! There's always humor, romance and action. Summer is a chiropractor - fairly new in town. Tyler - a cop in a neighboring town - sees her first at a gas station and notices her tire is very low. She drives away before he can tell her so he follows her home. She drives into her garage and immediately shuts the door. She is sure he is a serial killer, so she doesn't answer her door when he knocks. Then he sees her standing in a wet floor area in the grocery store and tries to warn her. She is still not sure of his motives and tries to stay on the safe side by saying idiotic things to him. Then Tyler is injured on the job and has to go to Summer for chiropractic help. Their relationship evolves from there. There is also a mystery - someone is trying to keep Summer from enlarging her shop and doing some dangerous things. You don't need to read previous books in the series but don't deny yourself the pleasure. They are fun!!
Seriously! Laughing so hard, no noise coming out, so you sit there clapping like a mute seal! A true testimate of what happens when 4 adults live with each other, get bored, and borrow things they shouldn't! Also, a reminder that you can't live in your Past or you could end up missing out on the good and more meddling fun from the town.
Tyler Sharpe is a man with a secret, and only two people know that secret. One is his best friend Penny, and the other is boss, but neither one would betray his trust. Now that secret could come to light because Tyler’s met someone that he wants to spend the rest of his life with, but he will have to come clean and tell her who he is before they can become more.
Summer is a woman that wants to believe she’s strong and dependent, but in reality, she’s watched too many scary movies and watched too many crime shows. Her imagination runs wild with her, and she calls her father a lot to tell him something else that has happened to her, but he just listens and tells her that everything is fine. However, the one day that she called him and told him that a man followed her home and then knocked on her door, she was sure that he would help her out, but he was in Florida, so she was on her own. He did suggest that Summer get a roommate though and maybe she wouldn’t be so afraid all the time.
I love these books and characters. Tyler is the roommate of Penny and Nathan, and Penny’s best friend. When she wanted to one up Nathan, she convinced Tyler to move into their house with them. Which created a great story. Tyler is a sheriff and a protector by nature. When he believes that Summer is in danger, he decides to follow her home to tell her that she needs to keep an eye on her tire and put some air into it, but his intentions only created Summer’s overactive imagination to go wild. However, just because someone is paranoid, it does not always mean that there is not out to get them. This story was funny and heart wrenching. Tyler couldn’t let go of his past and the tragedy that his childhood became, and when he finally gets to put it to rest, more tragedy struck. Tyler and Summer are a great couple, and their story has a lot of funny moments. Summer’s. As with all of the A Good Run of Bad Luck, books, I loved this one and can’t wait to read more. I hate to see it end! I give this book a 5-star review and will be waiting to read the next book.
Your Past doesn't always shape your Future in this Romantic Suspense story
I was desperate to hear Tyler's story after first meeting him in The Dirty as Penny's protector and roommate. There was always something about him that held him back from living a life outside of the police, his partner Lucas and Penny. Well in No Limit we find out exactly what that thing is.
Tyler Sharpe has spent years trying to map out his future so as not to let what happened in his past come full circle to affect his future. This meant never getting close to anyone. But when a low tyre causing him to worry about the dangers that could come from it, he ends up crossing paths with one Summer Westlow.
Summer is a chiropractor who has opened her new clinic in town. When strange things start to happen at the shop she ends up turning to the one man she feels safe with, Tyler. But will Tyler's past come back to haunt both of them in the long run?
As usual Giulia has to throw in some humour here and there, and No Limits is no exception. Let's just say you find out what happens when you chase a car thief with a girls pink scooter with tassels (no joke) and what happens when you live in a house with your best friends and start playing with things you find in their bedroom drawers when bored! Yes that is a chapter that I don't think I will ever forget. And poor old Chilli Man will he ever be loved????
I say it every time but I don't ever think Giulia can top previous books but she always manages it. This is one of my favourite books of the series and can't wait to read Lucas story in the final instalment of A Good Run of Bad Luck series. Going to be sad to say goodbye to this lot.
Every time I finish a book by Giulia Lagomarsino, I'm insulted that there aren't more stars to rate because I assure you she's one of my very favorite authors of ALL time & I don't see that ever changing to be honest. No Limit was another perfect read that ticked all my boxes, but I have to say that I'm never surprised by that anymore. Tyler is a protector, and he definitely goes out of his way to be too protective when it comes to women, so when he sees Summer for the first time, he notices her tire is low so he pretty much scares the cr*p out of her by following her home LOL! See, Summer has a big imagination so anything even hinting at danger has her thinking she's going to be murdered which made me laugh so much to be honest. She decides to make him think she's crazy after spotting him once again in the same place so now he's definitely rethinking things about her. I laughed so much (which isn't surprising) but it seemed like I did nothing but laugh cover to cover. Their journey has a suspenseful kicker to boot on top of all the colorful supporting cast making for a perfect good time. I will never think of the word cage the same way again that's for sure, AND I'm down with an idea to get my favorite security group to move to this small town after all the new revelations happening (don't think I won't be stalking you Giulia Lagomarsino to make that happen LOL!) I've said it before, and I'll say it again, you CANNOT go wrong with this author & I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

No Limit is book nine in the series; A Good Run of Bad Luck, which is a spinoff series from The Cortell Brothers. These books should be read in order to have a better understanding of the characters and town. This romantic suspense focuses on Tyler and Summer's journey.
Tyler is responsible, hard working, protective, but he harbors secrets and let's his past keep him from developing a bright future. You could also say he's a tad overprotective to the point that he sort of has a savior complex, literally no matter the situation (and there were some really quirky ones), he wanted to be the one that saved the day.
Summer always thinks worse case scenario. She was a fraidy cat, so I found it hilarious that she loved watching scary movies. I loved her sass, her pranks, and how she didn't put up with male chauvinism. She always gave as good as she got and was good at keeping up the banter.
This story was funny, unpredictable, entertaining, with suspense and an emotional twist. Tyler and Summer had great chemistry even through their rocky start. Tyler also had great chemistry with Lucas ha ha. Those two were something else but I love their bond. I can't wait to see who wrangles Lucas in the next book. Giulia's stories always carry a uniqueness to them so I can't help but wonder what kind of quirky or crazy things will happen next.
The story has laughs, pain, secrets, and heartbreak.
If you have not read the below, I would recommend reading those books(s) first. Maintenance Required (The Cortell Brothers #1) Collateral Damage (The Cortell Brothers #2) Wanted Dead Or In Love (The Cortell Brothers #3) Textbook Approach (The Cortell Brothers #4) Priceless Ink (The Cortell Brothers #5) Tangled Web (The Cortell Brothers, #6) Dead Man's Hand (A Good Run of Bad Luck #1) Drawing Dead (A Good Run of Bad Luck #1.5) The Dirty (A Good Run of Bad Luck #2) Ace Magnets (A Good Run of Bad Luck #3) Four Horsemen (A Good Run of Bad Luck #4) The Nut Low (A Good Run of Bad Luck #5) Big Slick (A Good Run of Bad Luck #6) Bad Beat: A Small Town Romance (A Good Run Of Bad Luck Book 7)
Before reading this book, you should read the others in the series. This is Summer and Tyler’s story. Tyler is injured and needs to attend physical therapy where he meets Summer. They hit it off, but both are dealing with a lot in their life. He has secrets he wants to keep to himself, but they end up coming out. Will those secrets destroy the building relationship he had with Summer? Or will they together be able to overcome the secrets? You get to see a lot of the town folk that were in the books before. Makes for a better story with all the crazy of the town’s folk.
This is book 8 in the good run of bad luck series. You do need to read these in order plus the Cortell Brother series as well… but it’s well worth it. We meet Tyler in Nathan and Penny’s book and I was glad Giulia decided to further this series including Tyler who was really just a secondary character at one time albeit a hot one. It was good to learn more about him but I will admit I was slightly disappointed it didn’t go quite as I expected. I kinda had hoped to get more on his and Penny’s closeness but though we did get Penny that wasn’t there. However we did learn why he has such a protective, I’d even say controlling in a good way nature. At first I didn’t care for Summer but she grew on me. The plot however was awesome. Full of twists, suspense and the usual touch of humor to lighten the story. And we got plenty of other characters such as Jack , Andrew and Lucas which I’m ready for his story. I like how the author brings in characters from the other books enough to make you want more but doesn’t pull so many it’s over why. Plus she adds in just enough backstory to catch you up but not bore you. If you like small town romance, hot cops, hot Sherifs, Chiropractors, suspense, twists and turns with a touch of humor and just enough heat this is for you!
A Good Run of Bad Luck, the series by Giulia Lagomarsino, continues to delight me and enjoy this world she builds filled with interconnecting characters in wacky small towns. No Limit is not an exception. Tyler and Lucas are still living with Nathan and Penney, I know it's strange, but it works. Tyler has stumbled upon Summer, the new Chiropractor in town, and it's unclear if they were going to get together for quite some time. Summer is a bit, umm, overly cautious, verging into paranoid. Tyler is just a protector--perhaps a bit of an over protector. His back story eventually comes out, and Guilia picks that moment to gut us (tissues required), but it all works out. Some sort of loose ends from previous books get tied nicely up (thank you, Giulia!), and we know we have one more book in this spin-off of the Cortell brothers. Honestly, I don't know that I'm ready to leave this hodge-podge of quirky characters that bicker, place bets on townspeople, and have a Facebook page that could set your hair on fire. If you have been reading this series, you need to keep going; it's fun with light suspense, laughs, and a few tears. I still want to know where Reed Security is???
This is the eighth book in this brilliant series and is Tyler and Summer’s journey. Tyler is hard working, and is a protective police officer, who struggles with secrets from his past, and when he notices a woman at the garage with a flat tire, she drives off before he can tell her, he follows her home, which has her under the impression that he is a stalker. Summer is new is town and is a chiropractor, and she is quirky, sassy, and head strong, and even though she and Tyler get off to a rocky start, their relationship is awesome as it develops into more. Bring into the mix the hilarious antics and chaos from all off the secondary characters, and this is a story not to be missed. This is a well written phenomenal story, which is hysterical, and with undeniable chemistry, mystery, witty banter, humor, secrets, action, romance, family, friendships, tension, suspense, intrigue, and love, which leads to an entertaining and unpredictable page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
This book is a weird one for me to review, I laughed out loud so many times but a lot of the book also just felt like blabbering where nothing connected, especially in the beginning. I think you really needed to read the other books in the series first as a lot is unsaid, events are mentioned and not explained like you should know about it already. And the main FC Summer is nuts, she gets half an idea and runs with it and doesn’t actually think things through and flies into crazy conspiracies, Tyler spoke to me at the grocery store so he put a bomb under my car? Benjamin has nude photos so he has to be a thief? But the MC isn’t likeable either. Tyler lives with a married couple (the girl is his bestie) and his work partner, but when he’s off work sick he snoops in their room and tries out their sex toys? His dad being a serial killer was a new interesting angle. The second half of the book was better than the first half, but it’s super obvious why her business is being attacked and the fact that none of the half dozen cops cult figure it out was sad.
Fun, games and sexy times! I love this series with these outrageous characters, twisted humor, sexy romance and a bit of danger. Oh, and the drama at every turn. This story features another lawman, Tyler. He’s a protective sort especially when it comes to women and he has a dark secret from his past. Plus he’s tall, dark and handsome with vivid blue eyes. Dreamy! There’s a new gal in town and she’s a hoot. Summer is all about games and fun but she has an overactive imagination and is afraid of the bumps in the night and dark shadows. She’s like catnip to Tyler especially with her beauty. They have a hilarious first few meetings that gets the law involved. Guess how that works since he is the law! This is another terrific addition to this series full of ridiculous interactions, loads of laughs, sexy romance, and fabulous family and friends. I always look forward to these unique romances with quirky characters and can’t wait for the next one. Loved it!
In one word yay we finally have Tyler's story. Have to say after reading of Penny and Nathan's story I was pretty curious to see how Giulia Lagomarsino will do his story and am amazed. There is so much of Tyler we didn't know just that he was very protective of Penny but Giulia showed us how he really is right now. Having Summer enter in his life was in one word hillarious because in every way Tyler is very controlled of his life. These two bring out the good and bad in each other it is so easy to see in a way how right they are for each other. In every way it is actually like fate is on their side getting them together. We see a side of Tyler nobody has seen and a past of his no one knew about until now. All in all this is a great story and excited to see what she does next in this town. Loved it.
"I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own."
*****5 Obsessed Stars***** This a great addition to the series. Tyler and Summer’s story did not disappoint at all. These two have a ruff star then their relationship turns into a nice slow burn. This all started with a low tire at a gas station and turn into something completely amazing. Tyler is hard working, and is a protective police officer and Summer is new is town and is a chiropractor, and she is quirky, sassy, and head strong. When these two final meet there are of tons of miscommunications that drive to believe he’s nuts and she missing a few screws; but when Tyler gets injured on the job and needs Summers assistance things get turned up a notch. This review is so vague because I don’t want to give anything away this definitely a must; this whole series so fare is a must read!! I can’t wait for more. *****ARC from Author for review*****
May contain spoilers and bad language… and random nonsense.
Heart rate is picking up. I’m excited to see what crazy ride Giulia takes us on now. Damnit. I forget to take notes. I’m surprised Nathan held that secret for months. Who’s blood runs through his veins? No Paige! Stranger Danger! Snort laughed at YouTube. She’s fucking with him hard core and it’s awesome. OH My God! Hahahaha!!! That was the most awkwardly awesome thing ever. Cock cage! (Said in my head like Freeze-frame! With jazz hands) What is going on? Sad story. I love their banter. Aces. That kitchen scene left me scratching my head. It all makes sense now. M+J ❤️ I loved everything about this book. While there was still the air of mystery and suspense, I wasn’t on the verge of a heart attack this time. I really appreciate that. But I’m sure Giulia will pay me back for that comment in another book. 😂
I just love love love Tyler. What cracks me up the most through the entire book is he thinks she’s crazy but honestly he is just as bad. The moment that shall not be named had me rolling around crying-laughing. I’ve laughed so hard through this entire book! Such an amazing read an i can’t wait til the next one is realized! Everyone of Guilias books I read I think they can’t get any better then this but she proves me wrong each an every time she releases another book!! If you like stories with HEA’s an tons of laughter an ONG moments. You def need to grab this book up and read it!! Ooh I almost forgot poker night. Who said poker night was ever boring besides chilli man that is 🤣🤣
I love how the author mixes things up with her stories. After that last intense, nail-biting book, I was ready for something different. Tyler is best friends with Penny, and lives with Penny & her partner Nathan. Tyler, a police officer, also has his partner Lucas living in the house. Summer has only lived in the town for a year, and her banter when treating Lucas in her chiropractic clinic was superb. Nothing beat the scene where Tyler needs help from Nathan getting out of a tight spot. Great plot, and finally getting Tyler’s history—great story-telling by the author.
I received a copy of this book. My honest opinion is voluntarily provided.
Tyler's story was one I was intrigued about after being introduced to his character in "The Dirty"
He was definitely what I expected with a few unexpectedly pleasant surprises.
Summer's character was one that I definitely didn't see coming. In fact she reminds me a bit of the ladies of Reed Security. Which is absolutely awesome because she doesn't take nonsense.
The antics that these two get up to is hilarious but at the same time hearts stopping.
Tyler's past catching up to him shows his true character and nature. It is also interesting to see Summer's reaction and how she handles things .
Right off the bat this story was a barrel of laughs,I almost thought Summer was one of those loney bend people , I mean it seen that she was scary cat over the weirdest things but I soon change my mind. The only sad part was Tyler losing his father at the end.It was so good that Tyler had all those friends he thought he only had Penny and Lucas then Summer! Oh what a laugh Chili-Man was when he showed up for poker night,I almost think he lives for these nights because to me he sounds like a lonely man,,! Great book Giulia! By far the funniest one.
