If you haven't watched Bluey yet, you should. "But I'm an adult with no children!" It doesn't matter. I have sat on my couch with childless friends and seen their faces light up when they watch this show. It is SO SWEET, friends. And it turns out that not only will I cry when watching the Baby Race episode, I'll cry reading the story too. Best freaking show on TV.

My favorite story was “Baby Race” because like Bluey, my daughter rolled before she crawled.

This book is a total hit in our house! Bluey: 5-Minute Stories delivers six fun, light-hearted adventures all in one spot, and our family loves it. Big Bluey fans here, and the kids recognized all the stories from watching the show—so we couldn’t skip any pages (yes, that’s a win).

What made it work for us:

The stories are short and just the right length for bedtime or when you’ve got five minutes before quiet time.

Each tale is full of Bluey’s trademark energy and warmth—playful, sweet, and perfect for kids who already know and love the characters.

The familiarity is great: my kids lit up when they realized “hey, that’s the game we saw on the show!” It made reading together even more fun.

The format also gives us something to look forward to—“just one more story” becomes “we’ll read the next one tomorrow!” (If the kids let me stop at one, that is.)

If you have little ones who watch Bluey and enjoy quick stories packed with joy and family fun, this book is absolutely one to grab. Our copy is already well-loved and going back to it again and again

We read "Bingo" and "Baby Race" for Pre-Kindergarten Storytime. They were very attentive for the first story but started to lose interest towards the end of "Baby Race". Would recommend the first story for multiple ages, but the second story I would only recommend for slightly older children.

Ok, now I'm finally getting the hang of the Bluey craze. The kids are allowed to be naughty, but always expected to learn to be better.

But Hammerbarn? They go to the fictional version of Lowe's or Home Depot and buy a backyard pizza oven & a garden gnome, even though the story opened with them complaining about the house being in rough shape? And they break a garden gnome but don't pay for it?

Elsewhere, is Socks a baby or a pet? And what's wrong with Calypso, stealing Bluey's typewriter? But anyway 'Baby Race' is worth the whole rest of the book put together. Every new parent should read that!!

Ξέρω ότι ελλείψει διαθέσιμου χώρου, αλλά και μία δυσκολίας -όσον αφορά τα οικονομικά- πολλοί/ες γονείς επιλέγουν να προμηθευτούν και να προσφέρουν στα παιδιά τους, ως δώρο, βιβλία που περιέχουν παραπάνω της μίας ιστοριών μέσα στις σελίδες τους. Προσωπικά, δεν το βρίσκω κακό όλο αυτό. Αντιθέτως, θεωρώ ότι ανάλογα βιβλία μας δίνουν τη δυνατότητα να έχουμε συγκεντρωμένες πολλές αγαπημένες ιστορίες σε ένα βιβλίο και κάθε φορά να ανατρέχουμε σε μία απ'αυτές. Αφήστε που με αυτόν τον τρόπο, τα μικρά παιδιά δε θα δείχνουν σημάδια κόπωσης, αδιαφορίας, ή, και βαρεμάρας.

Η σημερινή μου πρόταση, για την περίοδο των εορτών κι όχι μόνο, αφορά το νέο παιδικό βιβλίο, με τίτλο ''Bluey: 5-λεπτες Ιστορίες", το οποίο κυκλοφορεί από τις εκδόσεις Anubis, σε μετάφραση της κυρίας Δώρας Γιακουμή και απευθύνεται σε παιδιά ηλικίας έως 7 ετών. Μία πολύ όμορφη συλλογή αυτοτελών ιστοριών, βασισμένες σε παραδείγματα παρμένα από την καθημερινή ζωή, που όχι μόνο ψυχαγωγούν, αλλά διδάσκουν τα μικρά παιδιά. Ιστορίες μικρές και περιεκτικές, γραμμένες με οικείο λεξιλόγιο, σύντομες προτάσεις και εξαιρετική εικονογράφηση. Ιστορίες που διαβάζονται, η καθεμία ξεχωριστά, μόλις μέσα σε πέντε λεπτά. Ένα βιβλίο που μου άρεσε πολύ και μου κράτησε όμορφη συντροφιά!

Great bedtime story book and has some of the best stories from Bluey. I hadn't realized how much id appreciate the 5-minute format util i realized I only really made time to read stories before bed and until my kiddo gets a bit older he doesn't have the patience for anything much longer...and i want a nice complete story if i'm being honest.
Easy to read, not too much text and lots of colors with good meaning behind the stories as well.
Ill say my least favorite of the 6 is is Charades, if only because Muffin really does rub me wrong, but thats kids right? And the meaning behind the story (that i get) is that even other kids have to understand that young ones need different rules because they don't understand.
Obviously my favorites are The Pool and Baby Race because i connect with them from a mom view and they make me feel better as i read them out loud. Though Hammerbarn is pretty great too. make you want a new pizza oven and a trip to Home depot though so watch out.

This collection of 5 minute stories is perfect for the whole family to read together. My toddler absolutely loves Bluey so when I pull out the book she immediately shouts “BLUEY!” And is ready for me to read it to her. These short stories are basically shorter versions of the episodes if you’ve seen them before but it helps when you want to teach your kids to read especially when they remember the episodes along with the stories. I rated this a 5/5 star because although it’s meant for kids as an adult I enjoyed the messages that teaches children and parents alike in so many ways. Definitely recommend!

These stories read just like episodes from the TV show. The characters start very true to their personalities. It was fun for me (the adult) to read, and my child enjoyed the stories.

Nice and short stories before bedtime. I could tell my child was looking forward to the next story time!

This collection of stories also looks like a nice beginner reader book.

Unlike some of the shorter adapted-from-a-10-minute-animated-short-to-a-picture-book titles in the Bluey book series, these 6 stories don't require as much contextual knowledge of the show to follow while still capturing the episodes. My kids enjoyed them (and I appreciated they could be read in roughly 5 minutes).

We love Bluey. And these stories are great to read and remember watching the shows. Every time we read and get to the titles in the story we stop and we say it like the episode, "this Episode of Bluey is called "charades!"

We definitely watch Bluey more for me than the kids. This book has really cute graphics from the shows. It is just a few of the cartoons written as a story and they aren’t perfect, but my kids still love them.

How do you NOT love Bluey?! We adore this one!
Our favorite story is Hammerbarn. We love playing the games that the Heeler family plays, and we use any of their misbehavior as points of discussion! Bluey is everything!

I loved this book. I'd seen about 1/2 of the episodes. Bluey episodes make me laugh out loud and are so good, they are re-watchable. Would recommend the book and the cartoons to ANYONE!!!
