Aiden Wagner was supposed to be living life with a silver spoon in his mouth, running his father's investment firm and attending events at the country club. He was supposed to marry someone 'appropriate', have a son, and most importantly, make lots of money. At least, that's the vision his parents had for him. His vision was vastly different. An Army Ranger, fortunate enough to have been assigned to Eric Bongard's team, he was now in the company of legends. As an operator for RP, his life was everything he'd always dreamed it would be. Finding Brit Elig was not something he expected. But just as quickly as he'd found her, she was gone. Until the scales of fate tipped in his direction.
Brit Elig thought she was doing the right thing by buying her roommate's car. It seemed the decent thing to do since she had a family emergency. She never dreamed it would land her in so much trouble. When her car breaks down in the middle of Louisiana, she has no one to call. Pulling out the card of the only man who might be able to help her, she dialed the number for Aiden Wagner. When he rushed to her rescue, she wanted to curse herself. She'd forgotten how handsome he was, how absolutely beautiful he was. What she thought would be a fast fix, turned into a nightmare with far reaching tentacles. Relying on Aiden and the rest of the team, Brit has to place her trust in a group of people she barely knows, yet strangely feel like home.
Thank you for reading my bio and my books! I live and work in Dallas, TX. I'm the mother of two amazing daughters and two fantastic, intelligent grandsons, with one more on the way, and a wonderful son-in-law. I love to cook, travel, and write, but I'm also an avid reader. Being from a military family, my books often center around strong, military men but I also LOVE strong, independent, intelligent women. Visit my webpage at insatiableink.squarespace.com and leave your comments or ideas for future books. Enjoy!
Brit really fit in with everyone at RP really quickly, a good thing. I loved how the running joke through out the book was how much and how often she ate, but the best was the contest at the end, perfect way to end on a light note, after some heavy things in the book.
I also find I'm very intrigued by Parker's new admirer, hope we get more with that whole situation.
Also fun, was the "old" guys kinda getting put out to pasture and then them watching what was going on with the mission and the women coming in to watch too, but treating it more like a movie with snacks and running commentary.
I chose this rating because this was actually a pretty good book. I enjoyed most all of the characters. This was a book of protection, kindness, compassion and finding your true love. I enjoyed Aiden and Brit story . I think they made a really great couple. The author did an awesome job with putting these two characters together. They understood each other. Great read! I recommend this whole series to all romance readers.
Just when you think you couldn't fall more in love with the RP family, Mary Kennedy releases another book and proves you wrong!!! Cannot wait for Parker and Dani's story!
These books are so good I had to actually forced myself to slow down And it was a really hard to do I love Ms Kennedy's writing😍 I love her patriotism🇺🇸 and all the good feelings the series creates!
This one was absolutely incredible. With the release of each new book I feel like I become more and more part of the RP world! Can’t wait for Parker’s book!
Great as always can't wait to the next book. Keep them coming. I have loved everyone of the books to the whole involved series from the very beginning. Thank you keep it up.
I always know when this author brings out a book I’m not going to be able to put it down and she didn’t disappoint. Fantastic read again highly recommend
Aiden, the quiet, handsome Army Ranger, met the beautiful damsel in distress, but didn't think he would hear from her again. When she contacts him, she is in trouble and he rides to her rescue. Aiden finally finds why his father has been contacting him, and he is able to vanquish his issues with his parents for good. We get a few glimpses of some younger family members and their possible futures.
I hope Mary Kennedy never ends this series. Every store gets better and better, capturing real life issues, honoring traditions , building a family and true live or what we all wish for in our daily lives. Aiden and Brits story once again show us how this wonderful group and women work hard to save the world, frictional wise.lol It shows us in my opinion there are heroes we just need to look for them
