As Isla’s last day draws near, she still hasn’t packed her bags she keeps putting it off with the hope of staying. She isn’t sure if Virgil has the same feelings for her that she has for him.
Virgil has been down and out and he doesn’t want Isla to leave but knowing the last day is here he isn’t sure what to do. Emmanuel knowing how both of them feel for one another suggest taking her on a date he agrees it’s a good idea. How will this go though him taking her out in public as a couple? Will Isla see people from Virgil’s past that she fears may pose as a threat to her and her feelings for him? I love the ending and how she comes out of her shell.
I really enjoying Emmanuel and how he tries to play matchmaker and he does so in such a way that will make you smile. He is the only person that Virgil really considers a best friend and he listens to what advice he has to offer him. Will it be the right advice?

Isla has not started packing yet even though there are only three more days of her month with Virgil. Virgil has kept his distance from Isla the last couple of days because he doesn’t want to face her leaving him. Emmanuel, bodyguard and friend to Virgil, talks to both of them but doesn’t give them any real advice. However, after talking to Emmanuel, Virgil decides to take Isla to a party being thrown the last night Isla is supposed to live with him.
What will happen at the party? Will either of them make their feelings known to the other? Will Isla leave Virgil?

Book 5 was great! Virgil and Isla are starting to make some headway with their feeling with a gentle push. I love how vulnerable Virgil is even though he's a tough SOB, and how Isla is coming into her own. I can't wait to see how Sage wraps this story up.

This is the fourth book in the series and I was hooked, couldn't stop reading till I finished. Can't wait to read the next book in this beautiful series 😍 . I received an ARC for my honest review
