Full disclosure, I had the immense privilege of serving as coach to Marita & Faith as they crafted the training curriculum that eventually led to the content of this book. It was a joy to work with such genius minds with hearts for the world big enough to match, and I love seeing the transformational work they created synthesized into a book like this.
Every leader should read this book. Systems Inspired Leadership is a sea change book. It invites us into a new paradigm for effective leadership, the very paradigm that I believe is most needed in today's VUCA world. As more and more leaders get wise to the reality that top-down leadership just doesn't work anymore, this is the "do this instead" answer they are all looking for.
Upon first read, I expect many leaders will push back on the time costs involved in this new approach. If that's you, consider this: Any significant change of leadership paradigm will have that cost; if you want change, time costs will always be part of it. Also, those time costs will fade over time, as people get used to the new ways of being and doing in their work together. I've been practicing these principles in my leadership and my coaching for many years, and they no longer seem costly at all. In fact, they have made my leadership easier, and produced results better and faster than any other approach I've used. The transition takes time, but the pay off is more than worth it.

I liked the book and think we do need to be thinking of leadership as a role of the system...As leaders our goal is to build a system to deliver.
I do think at times the book got long, beat points to hard and at times it referenced coaches and consultants instead of people using it directly. Doesnt change the truely positive point

Somewhat useful but felt a bit like a brochure for the ORSC training by CRR global. Content was useful with some decent take aways.
