I love this book. It is a quick and easy read. It is well written and flows smoothly. The author did an amazing job portraying the characters, their emotions and the experiences they go through. Once I started the book I couldn't put it down. It kept me captivated from the first page through the last.

I absolutely love Angela. She is a young, fun, bubbly person. She is a tech geek and a witch new to her powers. As it turns out, she is a Fire Witch, which is not that common. She had one heck of an introduction to being a witch in the first book Casting Magic, when she had to resuce her father from taking the fall for her step-mother's crimes. During all of the chaos, she discovered her powers.

She is terrified of what she is. While it is cool, she knows that it can also be really dangerous. So many witches are afraid of Fire Witches due to their immense power, but should they really be? With the guidance of her mentor, Sherry, and the help of her boyfriend, Jody, who happens to be a guardian, I think she will be just fine.

I can't wait for the next book. I fell in love with the characters with the first book I read, Wolf Moon. I highly recommend this book to those who love YA books, paranormal, romance, witches, and the Grazi Kelly books.

I haven't read the first book in this series but had no trouble following the action in this one. Additionally there is another related series about another character mentioned herein which I am now wanting to read. This is an exciting universe of witches, werewolves, goblins, and who knows what else? Those are the non-human species in THIS novel, just in time for Halloween! The background is far richer than I would have expected in this short novel, with history going back for centuries, and you have a strong sense of our teenaged heroine. I would have to call this a coming-of-age story with the added hook of newly discovered magic as well as hormones swirling through Angela. Light and sweet with some serious drama sandwiched in.

This book was so good. One of those books that make you feel so good I side after reading. And it is written so well that you forget the main character is only in highschool. I normally don't read young adult but this is a series for everyone. It was so interesting and unique. And I love the way the firewitch was explained. This young lady has some real power inside her. I wanted more after the ending! I cant wait. Hope it's coming soon. Oh and you will just love Jody, the hero!

OMG for an introduction to the Keeping Magic series, I have to say it again OMG.

Now, I'm an avid reader of all things mystical and paranormal, but this book is an exceptional coming of age book that will cover many age groups for years to come. And Im old so I know Keeping Magic: The Angela Tanner Files will fill the hearts of young girls in the wicca and mortal realm for ever and a day. Wishing for their own Guardian to watch over them and love with all their hearts desires.

The thrills and action keeps you wanting to get in and help Angela. And of course we have the bad guys and they are always a love to hate or in this case we have the handsome and ugly and smelly. So theres something for everyone in this book and I can't wait for the next in this series.

Incredible read. Well worth the money.

Talk about OMG moments !! Angela and her Guardian/boyfriend Jody have several in this second installment of The Angela Tanner Files !! There is mention of her best friend and wolf extraordinare Grazi, but this book is 100 % Angela, her growing powers and will she be able to control them enough before the wrong people figure out just how strong she is and how much stronger she will grow to be !! 5☆'s for the incredible characters, world building and back story . This is a must read for anyone over the age of 13, all the way to 113 !! It has something for everyone to laugh at, cry over or gasp in incredulity . I received a gifted copy and am voluntarily choosing to leave an honest and unbiased review.

Another fast-paced, well-written, easy to read short story from C.D. Gorri

Continuing Angela Tanner's exploration of her newly acquired witch powers.
The characters are well written and we get a good sense of Angela's emotions and experiences.

Having read the first book, Casting Magic, as well as the Grazi Kelly books, I think this is a great addition to the series'.
I'm looking forward to following the lives of both Grazi Kelly and Angela Tanner in future books.

Liking these Witches

Angela is learning to control her powers now that she's a firewitch. The guardian Jody is officially her boyfriend. A new witch has been found and you'll never believe who it is. They are still dealing with that evil witch Hector Desearo who is also a theif and a murderer. Sherry who is Angela's mentor showing more of her amazing powers. Plus Angela's dad tells her more about her real mother. So much comes to light in this book. This is a must read series like Grazi's was.

This review is from: Keeping Magic: The Angela Tanner Files #2: A Grazi Kelly Universe Novella
Wow I just loved reading this continuation book and I thought that it just keeps getting better as the Angela's story continues and you get a more detailed information about Angela's family life. I thought it sounded so awesome as I read it that I gave it 5 stars.

I thought that the author had such an impressive creative ability at writing her characters and with a fascinating style that once you start reading the book it gets you hooked and I also loved all her different types of supernatural characters and how well they fit in the storyline. Angela and Jody make for a great couple and they seem to always have each others back when they need it the most plus their love is so young and fresh yet as the years continue to go by they seem to be building a very strong bond with each other. Angela also has some of the best people on her side teaching her how to control her powers. Even though she is young, she has a very strong and ancient powerful magic that she could become a great witch as long as she learns to control her powers and not let her powers of the fire witch control and consume her. Evil lurks around to try and still Angela's power and the Tribunal has also threaten by stripping her of her dangerous powers. Angela has limited time to learn to control her powers plus keep on the look out for evil that wants her powers as well. I just loved reading this book and I know that you will to so go get your copy. I also can not wait for her next book to come out.

Wow I know this is for the younger crowd as I am in my 50's but I so enjoyed this story. I think it would have been perfect for a Valentine's Day release but a girl needs to be prepared right? Angela is a teen-aged witch who discovers that she can control flames and there is conflicting information about fire witches as they are rare and feared as well. Her mentor Sherry and her boy friend Jody are doing their best to train her. During this story Angela learns of her parentage, that she is in danger and of course what Jody truly means to her.

Ms. Gorri has knack for the young language and us oldsters kept riveted to the page as Angela continues her magical journey.

This is a great addition to the series. I have read all the Grazi novels and highly recommend them. This short story focuses on Angela and the changes she faces as she learns about her powers. It is very well written and I recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the series. If you are new to the series, I suspect it will capture your interest too in reading more. The author's characters may be young adults but they have a maturity to them as well that makes them appealable to all ages.

I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.

Angela Tanner is a fire witch and with the help of her boyfriend, Jody, she is learning to control and learn about her powers but nothing ever comes easy and there are some ups and downs with learning her craft.

I am voluntarily leaving my honest review of this book. This is book 2 of the The Angela Tanner Files by the author. It is best to read book 1 first because where book 1 stops book 2 starts.

I loved it ! It's a quick and easy read, well written and it flows perfectly! I have read all the Grazi Kelly novels (I can't wait for the next book to come out!) and the previous Angela Tanner novella (which is great as well) and so I was excited to immerse myself once again in this crazy and fascinating world C.D Gorri has created. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a fun read!
It was great !

A young fire witch begins to explore and discover her powers - and some perhaps ugly members of witching history.

passion and family, friendship and trust, loyalties and responsibilities.

Betrayals have a very high cost as she works her way towards growing up, staying alive, and mastering and keeping her abilities.

Angela Tanner is learning to control her powers slowly but all signs indicate that she's a Firewitch. Someone wants Angela's powers for themselves and will stop at nothing to get them from her. Jody Nieves is Angela's boyfriend and guardian will do his best to protect her from harm. Can Jody keep Angela safe? Who wants Angela's powers? Your answers await you in Keeping Magic.

This story builds on what Casting Magic presented. The story and characters are complicated, complex, real, rich, bold, and compelling too.

Here she goes again. fighting her way through learning her own magic but at least shes not alone.
Jody is not just her guardian but her partner that she is finding out more and more that she can rely on as she goes through finding her way as the first known fire witch in centuries.
And the whole time she is fighting to learn and control her power others are trying to tale it from her,
I loved the way she stands up for herself in every way and never backs down.

I received this book in exchange for a review.

Angela has found out the she's a firewitch. She's learning to control her powers. Another witch has been stealing artifacts and powers. Angela and Jody are hunting him.

I enjoyed reading this book. It needs editing. Wrong words are used throughout it. It also leaves out a lot of the story. It refers to Grazi and a fight that Angela helped her win. That story is in neither of the books. The reader is left guessing what happened.
