I may not be an experienced warrior, but I won’t let my lovers fight all my battles for me.
In search of long-forgotten secrets that might give us an edge against the Unseelie, my loyal guards sneak me through enemy territory to commune with the Tree of Life.
Our only chance at survival requires all of us to master new magic and overcome old wounds. My capable guardleader will need a confidence boost. My proud warrior will need to forgive an oathbreaker. And I’ll need to learn how to love like a true Fae.
But it may already be too late to save my father and my best friend. The Unseelie hold them both captive, giving me an impossible choice — save one and let the other die.

After six books, getting to know and becoming invested in all the characters we get **spoiler** a conclusion that ends the RH. ??? Seriously?!!! A RH follows the relationship between one girl and several men. Whether they have relationships within that harem, well that’s one thing, because they’re all supposed to be equally IN LOVE with the female main character! She’s the entire catalyst!! Throughout this series we see our FMC develop her relationships and slowly they hook up amongst themselves within the harem. But the one member, Roark was NEVER fully committed to her. At first I thought it was because he was caught up in so much guilt, but then it becomes clear that it’s because he’s IN LOVE WITH SOMEONE ELSE!! Then the author has the audacity to try and redeem that fact by having him declare he loves our FMC while she lies dying….ooooohhhh but the moment he heals he’s back panting after his former lover!!! At the end the FMC gives her men leave to just have relationships with OTHER PEOPLE outside of their harem!!! So if you’re looking for a satisfying reverse harem novel I wouldn’t suggest this one. In fact, I’m really quite annoyed that I spent so much time reading this entire series just to get that awful ending. Even as romances go, this is an awful one.
Not a Reverse Harem book but a poly one. I really liket the blurb from the first book but I started liking the series less and less as the books went on.

I was really starting to enjoy this series, until the end. I really wish the author had labeled this properly. This isn't a reverse harem. It's a polyamorous romance. The consort have partners outside the harem. I was not okay with that and wouldn't have read this series if I knew that going in. This is why proper labels and warnings are important.
The reverse harem was interesting. Love the different characters and just the overall way this trilogy came together. Wish everyone in this world could come together to stop all prejudice as well.
1st reading: The restoration of the Kitsune and Veela magic made sense within the world created in the series. The fact that Merc was returned essentially unscathed without effort on the part of the main characters felt like a cop-out, though - and Kenji's newfound ability to dreamwalk was a bit of a throwaway as well. No good explanation was offered for why Glori had two predatory animals inside her. (And the chupacabra? Seriously?) While the reconfiguring of the connection of the queens to the Tree of Life was satisfying in making all Fae equal, the comments earlier in the series about the Queen of Queens heralding an evolution of Fae magic seems to me a lost opportunity. There were also some inaccuracies within the text - or do we call it "confusion on the part of the characters"? E.g., Glori reflecting on her father's being imprisoned and tortured by Iona for centuries, when Glori herself is only 26 years old. How does that work? ;) Still, an enjoyable series that shows polyamory and pansexuality in a good light.

1. The Plot. As this book is the last one of the series, it successfully concludes all the previous ones. The Encante world is wonderful, harmonious and interesting. Maybe I would have appreciated if there was a map of Encante in the beginnig)
2. Characters. All of them evolve throughout the series. Glori finally finds her strength, her faith in her consorts and trust in them.
3. Steaminess. What I have really appreciated in this series is that sex and all the sex-scenes are naturally included in the plot. They are far between but definitely in those places where they are essential. And they are hot)
4. The last book VS previous 5 boks. Honestly, the first book wasn't easy for me. But starting from the second one and then to all others: I would recoomend everyone to read them. Even if you have never read RH but you're fond of fantasy - these books might be a very good start for you in this genre.
I can't believe that this is the end of the Our Fae Queen series. Glori has developed and evolved so much over series and this book really shows it. After picking this book up it was easy become invested in Glori and her consorts' adventure. This wraps up the series well giving a satisfying ending.

I just cant and won't believe its the last one already. Im really going to mis glorianna and her consorts😏😏😏😏. What a rollorcoaster with al the things going on. Not only in book 6 but also from the start of book 1 till now the last book in this series. 😭😭😭😭. Just like traci other books i loved this book. And feeling a little book hangover coming again. Just when i just lost it because i got to read this book. I soooooo loved this serie time to reread again, again and again 😛😛😛😛
Liked the whole series. Rorik was my favorite character. But hated the end. Glori should have been SELFISH fu** jovanka and Valente. Keep Angel and Rorik too herself.

This book brings everything together. You finally get the answers to all the questions —and the spice that you’ve been wanting. It’s been a crazy, amazing journey of character development in this series. Definitely one of my top favorite fae series!
This was a great ending to this series. Hopefully, there will be a continuance of the series later. Glori was amazing and did what had to be done. She loves her guys and all Fae.
Well a great end to the series and whilst 6 books seemed a lot sad it’s all over. Would have loved an epilogue with a Cole for all the main characters in the RH or how things were a few years down the line. Definitely going to read more of this authors work.
2/5 stars. 1 for good editing and 1 for completing the series. I just can’t give it more than that.
I’m sorry, but this just sucked. I’m very disappointed. The conclusion was not remotely worth all it took to read to get here. I held out hope and now I’m like wtf, why did I waste 3 days?!
TBH at the end, I was indifferent to almost every character. I could care less about them all. And Glori is still as much of a self conscious naive wet blanket as she was at the start. She is insecure about evvvverything then in the final 5 pages she abandons all of her hangups over the last 1800+ pages?!
Most of her consorts barely spend time with her. It’s weird. They don’t even share the same bedroom to sleep 95% of the time. Their dynamics make no sense.
And the (spoiler) open harem makes 0 sense with the rest of the series. I get what the author was trying to do and how it applies to her own life but it really doesn’t work for this series and it blindsided a lot of readers in the final few pages. Not a smart move. It was too vague of a declaration to make it seem like a committed polycule and instead just felt open free love whatever. There should have been discussion and communication. And if any of her consorts had publicly declared the same thing without talking to her first Glori would have had a 30 page internal meltdown about if they still love her and then moped around for another 4 chapters complaining to Merc about not being good enough. 🙄.
That all being said… I’m hella pissed that Glori never took the time to see Angels shift. I know it’s trivial but sharing that with her meant a lot to him and she couldn’t be bothered? We gets 100s of pages (agggain) of her inner monologue whining about the what ifs and whys of life and love but we can’t even get a paragraph of her actually doing something for him? Or any of her others? They are all incredibly self centered characters who only care about their own emotions.
And, the woman is not a warrior queen. 🙄🙄🙄 she’s pathetic and lucky. That’s it. Sorry. I know that’s harsh, but it’s true.
DNF’d this biotch! THIS IS NOT A RH SERIES!!! I would say it’s ultimately an open polyamorous series, which contradicts all the things mentioned in the first 5 books about the Queen’s relationship with her consorts. I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised though. Angel was open poly from book one and there was a great deal of foreshadowing in the subsequent books that this was coming if you knew to look for it.
I had commented in my review of the previous book that I felt the author had jumped the shark when it came to the relationship Glori had with Rorik. He never should have been Glori’s consort in the first place when he was already completely in love with someone else and pining for her and desperately wishing he could still be with her after becoming consort. From the beginning I’m also not sure any of her consorts saw it as the honor it supposedly was in the past. More power to those who can roll with surprise open polyamory, but I can only do that when I know beforehand that that will be the dynamic. I would never yuck someone else’s yum, but that particular relationship configuration is an epic NOPE when I’m caught unaware. So I will not waste my time on a book that will only continue to make me angrier than I already am. I am sooooo disappointed that the author decided to go this route when their lives are all so long. Especially with no warning. I mean really??? At this point, I honestly don’t care how the big bad gets dealt with or how things resolve.
Looking at the series as a whole my rating of the books ebbed and flowed. The MFC was frustrating to me for a good chunk but I kept reading for the world building, relationships building, and the spice.
My major dislike of the book/series is that I think this series is mislabeled as a Reverse Harem and should only be labeled as Polyamory Romance.
***Spoilers Ahead***
I was loving the slow burn with Glori and Rorik and was invested in their love story. I was totally thrown when it was revealed he was in love with Jovanka. I think that the labeling of the series was inaccurate and misleading due to the ending. I liked the poly relationships in the world but with it labeled as RH that typically wouldn’t include relationships with people outside the harem. I was just disappointed with that ending and a little heartbroken. Honestly kinda feel like I wasted my time a little bit. I also wished there was post-war group scene in the actual book that was suggested would happen by the characters. The bonus scene you can read through the authors site was actually a letdown.

This book took me a lot longer to read than the others because I realized I just... didn't really care what happened. There were no stakes left once Merc was rescued about half way through. Just a long, weary trudge towards the end. The MC was back making incredibly stupid choices in this one, which was disappointing because I thought she had finally outgrown that in the last book.
Also, this wasn't RH. There's a reason Reverse Harem is one category and Polyamory a different one. They aren't the same thing at all, even though there's some overlap. I wouldn't have bothered reading this if I'd known it was polyam.
Also, the 180 to Rorik's character was weird and gross. He's been an asshole the whole time, then suddenly he loves her and was just being that way "for her own good." Gag.
Don’t read this for the love story…if you do you’ll be disappointed. I don’t mind mm. But I don’t like the whole everyone is just waiting for the next thing to come along vibe. Like it feels like I’ll love/like you for a little while but I’ve got wandering eyes and will jump ship whenever…doesn’t that make a girl feel special…NO JUST NO. The storyline was decent the fmc was meh sometimes she was ok sometimes she was just running away. Her lovers were poor choices Kenji might be loyal and actually love her maybe Nolan if he could get out of his head but the others eyes wander too much. And are to interested in messing around with other ppl. I don’t like that in a romance I wasn’t love, mate bonds, fated mates, hea not this nonsense. A little mm is nice but not this nonsense and never other women that’s a big no no! So good storyline poor execution.
I read this entire series pretty much back to back and this book was the ONLY one that the main character didn’t piss me off in. All she did for books 1-5 was be a whiny martyr. Genuinely, I said ‘oh my god’ in frustration with 85% of the things coming out of her mouth. Other than that, phenomenal series. The world building was beautiful, I loved learning about the magic and the histories. FMC being who she is, is what kept me from a 5 star. (She’s annoying in this one too, don’t be mistaken. But it’s less whiny and more….selfish impulsivity. I was desperate for a change.)
I enjoyed going on this journey with Glori and her consorts, fellow queens, and guard. Overall the series was solid, though the repetitive inner dialogue did feel cumbersome.
Not for young readers. Lots of sex, orgy sex and same sex sex, lol. There were some proofreading mistakes but still followed the characters. It was a fun read about the fae and interdimensional fantastical creatures. A different take on their lives and loves.
I definitely think it ended well but I don't think the series as a whole was great. I feel like the author just used useless filler to fill books 1-5 and left us with 6 as the closer. This could have easily been a 3-4 book series. 6 was unneeded.
This was a pretty solid conclusion to the series. Some things were wrapped up a bit too nicely for my tastes, but there weren't any weird loose ends left over and everyone's narratives finished succinctly. Definitely glad to see Glori and her boys get their happy ending!
