One man's epic story of loyalty, perseverance, and hope in a galaxy at war. Now in a single volume.
Alliance Navy Commander Grayson Stone is patrolling a nearby space station when a mysterious starship appears. It emerges from a storm of fire, its shields impenetrable, its weapons overwhelming, attacking without provocation and annihilating everything in its path.
While his ship is badly damaged in the assault, Grayson manages to survive. Suddenly trapped behind the front line of the invasion, faced with gut-wrenching choices and near-impossible odds, he'll do whatever it takes to escape the grasp of the terrifying new enemy.
Because if he fails, humankind will fall.

M.R. Forbes is the author of a growing number of science-fiction series including Rebellion, War Eternal, Chaos of the Covenant, Stars End, and the Forgotten novels. Having spent his childhood trying to read every sci-fi novel he could find (and write his own too), play every sci-fi video game he could get his hands on, and see every sci-fi movie that made it into the theater, he has a true love of the genre across every medium. He works hard to bring that same energy to his own stories, with a continuing goal to entertain, delight, fascinate, and surprise.
He maintains a true appreciation for his readers and is always happy to hear from them.

Well sci at its best, speculative fiction, Asimov would be proud of this work, as am I. Lucas like dimension, would make a fine series, Star Wars, quality, Battle Star Galacta, with questions still unansered! Just enough folk lore to give good food 4 thought. How does one turn off the auto correct on my kindle? Words don't do good service to this book. Highly recommended!
I've always loved M.R. Forbes as an author but when I started into the first book I didn't think I was going to like it. The hero was so stiff he seemed almost like a caricature of a military man. However, as the story and the character developed it turned into a thoroughly absorbing story and a great read. Highly recommend it!
Hold on to your hat, fasten seatbelts, take a deep breath and dive in for a non-stop no quarter given roller coaster ride into a space combat narrative as seen by Odin, the Alliance's ace pilot who is also a dad, a pain in the rear officer to his superiors and a war hero to the rest of the galaxy.
Stars End the complete box set was one of the best set of books that I have ever had the pleasure to read. I highly recommend reading this set. This was so full of action and adventure. I was very sad when I was finished. I loved the main caracters, so real I will miss them. Thank you so very much M.R. Forbes you are a great writer.
Full blown action from start to finish... Exudes the best of us with possible annihilation and completely blows it all to hell and back again with a full blown surprise ending! Couldn't stop turning pages for hour's on end!
This series hit all the buttons. Suspense, enough to grab my attention and keep me interested. Action, I was constantly on edge waiting for the next attack. Hopefully the story doesn't end here.
I enjoyed this series, it was kind of sad at the end, but definitely held my interest. I like how he had 2 good guys...one the steriotypical good guy and the other was a bad guy who really was not a bad guy....good reads!
Well worth reading the series. Action from beginning to end. You have to question if you would make the same sacrifices as the characters in this series make. Excellent read.
There are sure a lot of battles but also a lot of strategy with characters that are memorable. Heroes making peace with each other in the face of an invasion.
