This was a very well written Amish romance story about a young Amish girl struggling to take care of herself and her dying grandmother and the farm that they lived on. Her circumstances kept her from realizing that her Amish neighbor was thoroughly in love with her. It was a touching story and one that I would definitely recommend!
I liked that she wanted to stand on her own, and make her own life, unlike her friend who was letting her husband (ne: husband to be) dictate to her. I could tell that she and Conrad would be good for each other.
This is a good Amish story about trust in others and in God.Dorothy has lost her trust because she has lost so much and when Conrad appears she find it hard to trust him but they find love
Dorothy is living on her grandparents farm and helping out with all the chores, but unfortunately the work is more than she can manage. Conrad's parents own the neighboring farm and he comes to help her.
She lost her parents early, now her grandparents are gone. Can she trust in a relationship that may end too? A dear friend reminds her to trust God and let Him worry about the future. Another great single subject Amish Romance Novella.
I really enjoyed the characters in this book. The loss of family was very emotional and hard. I was amazed at the love story and how it came about. I enjoyed this book from start to finish.
I loved this story of Conrad and Dorothy. It gives hope to never give up. When losses seem like all you're going to have God always provides everything you need.
