I’m Pregnant with the Villain’s Child

Rate this book
The older sister flees from her wedding to be with her lover, and her younger sister is forced to take her place in marrying a very powerful man.

As luck would have it, she ends up transmigrating into the body of that younger sister.

Although the man that she weds is very powerful, he’s the irredeemable final villain.

All villains are doomed to a bleak ending. And, as this villain’s wife, she’s afraid that her ending won’t be good either.

Fortunately, the older sister had gone back in time after having experienced a lifetime of suffering. This prodigal daughter returns to the turning point of her life. Pointing at her younger sister, she demands for her younger sister to hand over her husband.

Looking at this beautifully crying older sister, Ye Zhen swiftly yields and says, “Older sister, don’t worry. I haven’t even done anything with brother-in-law!”

To her shock, she later discovers that she’s pregnant.

With tears in her eyes, her older sister says, “Didn’t you say that nothing happened between the two of you?”

Ye Zhen looks at the great villain that doggedly pursues her. She is utterly and totally doomed.

There’s a great villain lying next to her, and she’s pregnant with a mini villain. How’s she supposed to survive?!

Later on, as Ye Zhen watches the great villain putting the baby down and changing the diaper, she sighs. “There’s nothing that can be done. I’ve already missed the golden opportunity to turn things around. How can I leave now?”

BEWARE of SPOILER

MC traveled inside a novel as Ye Zhen, the younger twin sister, who was forced to marry a disabled man in replacement of her sister. The guy she married was the villain in the original plot.

In the original plot, her twin sister got together with the 'son of heaven', and live happily ever after. Of course, Ye Zhen and her husband got the bad end of the stick.

However, as we read further, we were told that Ye Zhen and her villain's husband live happily ever after while her twin sister and the original ML, lived in poverty.

So, now we had a transmigrated Ye Zhen vs the reborn twin sister. Even though it had dubious consent, Ye Zhen was drug when her husband did the deed, I like the plotline and the way both writer and translator captivated me in the story.

Currently @ ch. 216 (of fan trans.)

WARNING : dubious consent. Kinda? (¬▂¬)

Part of me really likes this story part of me feels like I really should hate this. I feel like I should warn everyone, there is huge story line here that might turn off a lot of people. Some people might call it rape, some people might call it dubious consent or just ''taking the initiative'' but oh well, lets just all agree on this: the way the story starts is really messed up.

It's the same shit again, folks. FL suddenly finds herself transmigrated to a novel she was reading. Since she is the the wife of the Villain and the shit is about to go down she decides to run away and change places with her twin sister (who's the female lead of the story) before her husband the villain wakes up from his coma. BUT when her husband wakes up earlier than he should have been and she finds herself suddenly knocked up shit does go down and it's all la la land.

Here comes the rant and the BIG SPOILER: ((╬ಠิ﹏ಠิ))

There it is. It's still messed up but not the way we all thought in the beginning ┐( ̄ヘ ̄;)┌ I think it’s confusing to the readers because the MC herself can’t distinguish the real time from when she is just dreaming and at the end of the day it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth but at least it wasnt what I was expecting!! When you get past this shitty way the pregnancy happened it's actually a really decent story. And also very cliche. But oh well, this is a Chinese novel so what are you expecting really?

So far, it's a good novel to pass time and has a decent story to read. I like that male lead becomes this kind and thoughtful character after he ''wakes up'' and always respects the FL's boundaries and female lead doesnt let people walk all over her. Plus, there is a great twist with the female lead's sister/twin who was supposed to be the actual female lead of the story. Fan translation is going a bit slow due to one raw chapter being broken up to 4-5 fan chapters but oh well it's worth it. Definitely give it a chance if you can pass/ignore what the fuck was happening in first few chapters.

This one falls under my guilty pleasures. Technically, objectively, it wasn't the best of novels however, in the end, I did enjoy it quite a bit and will likely reread this in the future.

There are many highs and lows in the plotline. The circumstances of how the female lead got pregnant might offend some. However, if you get past that point and a few other dubious ones that are injected here and there in the book, there is a cute romance inside.

Some moments are completely unmemorable but there were also some of my favorite romantic webnovel moments in here. I say, give it a shot. It was certainly an interesting read.

The beginning is a little suspicious and there are definitely plotholes and maybe the ending is kinda sudden... anyway, I still enjoyed myself. Normally I don't like accidental pregnancy as a plot but this was fun to read. The female lead is so intriguing because she is not some big shot who transmigrated in but a normal person. I love her. And the male lead isn't so bad either.

I was looking for a dark romance novel and found this in a list. But this is more of a sweet , warm novel rather than a dark romance. Other than the fact that Lu Beichuan was the main villian in the original novel , there's nothing so dark 🥲 But I like this anyway. I enjoyed this a lot .

a 3.5 maybe?

There were some abandoned plotlines and the "transmigrated into a novel" aspect of the story isn't really necessary or utilised well

Una hermosa historia de amor, con un hombre de ensueño que te demuestra una mil veces lo mucho que te ama con sus acciones, como no amarlo con cada capitulo.

Loved this one. Especially loved the Little bun. His mom spoiled him, but his dad... oh his dad.
