Tragic Twist Ending
Well that ending was not what I was expecting.
Alexis really did a number on me. I wish the book had a little more content/context. I would have love to have seen more of them as a couple but it I'd what it is. What we saw was good and I'm glad that Rebecca was Ballsy enough to stand up to him from the get go.

This is the first book in the savage springs mc series. The story is about morgan and his mc club. This is an on going story so best if read in order. There is drama, passion and revenge. If you like mc romance then take time for this one. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC.

Morgan is due to get of jail after spending five Yeats for a crime he did not do. His friend was there to tell him who actually did the crime he got blamed for. After he CV gets out all the guys are there getting him. Nothing like getting on your bike with your crew, riding and being free. Nothing like it!
Rebecca was living in New York after she left home. Now she was back after she made a mistake leaving home. She was at the nursing facility her mom was in. Her mom was in there due to declining kidneys. Rebecca needed a job, so went to the Dove Diner. She was hired right away.
The first place Morgan wanted to go was to the diner. After walking through the door he stopped dead in his tracks by the beauty he watches het lead them to their seats. Morgan fired with her but Rebecca was not having any part of it. Morgan did however convinced her after her shift to sit with him and get to know him. Morgan had a way to go from talking to being hands-on in no time flat. Even after five years, he has lost his mojo. Rebecca was in heaven with Morgan.
As time went on Morgan made it known to Rebecca he wanted to kill the guy that put him in jail.
O e day while visiting her mom, she noticed a biker type guy working there. Then Rebecca heard the motorcycle roar of the engine and saw Morgan. She went to the front of the place and actually warned Blood Hound to get down or he was going to die.. She went out to talk to Morgan and talk him out of doing just that. She did manage to calm him down.
Once home, they confessed their love to each other. After time together they were happy but one night Morgan went to the favor and waited for Blood Hound to come out. Once outside he spotted Morgan. That is when both their lives were gonna change.

Instinct is a quick introduction into the world of the Savage Spring MC. We meet Morgan, the president, who has spent the past five years of his life in prison for killing a cop - except that he was framed. When Morgan finds out who was behind the set up, all he can think about is revenge and killing the culprit, even if it lands him back behind bars. But then he meets Rebecca, a hostess at a diner with ambitions to be a nurse. Morgan didn't expect to fall for anyone so soon after getting out from prison, especially with the person who set him up still roaming around free. But he finds himself drawn to Rebecca and wonders if he can give her up in order to enact his plan.
For her part, Rebecca didn't see Morgan coming at all. Just returned from New York, Rebecca has her sights set on making a bit of money for nursing school and taking care of her sick mom. She doesn't know Morgan's reputation and the fact that he is a biker doesn't impress her much. Until she lets her guard down and lets him in. The two embark on a romance at lightening speed that is bound to change everything, unless they don't give it a chance.
I thought this book had a lot of potential, but I felt it went by too quickly. I wanted more details on the characters' pasts, on their motivations, and I wanted to see the romance play out - it sped by like a bullet train, and I barely saw flashes of it, which was disappointing. I wasn't brought up to speed with the romance and so wasn't there for it when it hit a crucial turning point. I think if this had been a full-length novel, a lot of things could have been expanded on and improved on. But perhaps that is coming in the next book. Instinct is the first book in the Savage Spring MC and it starts several years after the Prequel. Morgan Steen is getting out of prison after serving 5 years on a conviction that he is innocent of. On this last day before he finally gets Pello to tell him exactly who it was that set him up and now all he has is hatred, rage and a plan to make the person pay. What he was not expecting was to meet a woman on his first night and start to fall for her. Rebecca Halo was born and raised in Big Springs, Texas. She left home and moved to NYC to go to nursing school. Only things did not turn out quite like she expected as she never was able to enrol in school because she had to work two jobs just to make rent on a studio on Staten Island. So now, three years later, she finds herself back home because her mother is very sick and is a long term nursing home. Rebecca ends up moving into the family home and finds a job as a hostess at Dove Diner in town. It is there that her path crosses with Morgan and she knows he is going to be bad for her.....but she just can't help herself from falling for him, even as she rebuffs him.
This story is fast-paced, filled with OTT characters, a lot of angsty emotion, and some naughty dirty passion. There is also an interesting ending which leads to the next book in this continuing story.

I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
Rebecca has learnt the hard way that the grass isn’t always greener, having moved to New York to live the life that everyone dreams of only to work too many jobs just to make the rent on a small room that was more like a closet. But with her mother’s health in decline she is returning to her home town to spend as much time with her as possible. She had no plans to meet a man or to fall in love but that’s exactly what she did when Morgan walked into the diner where she was working. But this man whom she has met is trouble with a capital T and is out for revenge, will Rebecca be pulled in to a world of violence and revenge and will she make it out the other side?
Morgan has spent five years in prison for a crime that he didn’t commit but now with all the evidence on his side he is about to be a free man, a free man with nothing but revenge on his mind. The last thing he expected was to meet Rebecca. She had him hooked from the first moment they met with her sassy replies and her dismissal of him he knew there was no way that he was going to walk away from her. But would he be willing to walk away from taking his revenge to keep her in his life?
I am all in with this series, there are some dark moments that I can only see becoming darker in the future books and Ms Ashlie has anger issues that is for sure but I love the way this series is starting out. 4.2* Read

Okay if you read the prequel then you already know to buckle up and hang on this is a wild ride that doesn’t stop and will have you wanting so much more but this one Morgan is due to spend life times in prison but after five years evidence proved he didn’t commit the crime he was serving time for and they were releasing him but he wanted blood or the head of the responsible party. The day he is released his boys are there with his bike waiting and nothing can compare to riding out especially after being locked up. Rebecca was living in NY leaving on not so good terms with her mother but back home to help care for her mother so getting a job working at the diner was her next step, but she didn’t know how much that job would change her life. The moment Morgan opens his mouth asking her out and she turning him down started an attraction that neither could deny so getting her to go out with him became his mission and doing it in a form of a deal was brilliant because they started to get to know each other the attraction was so intense, but would she be able to change his mind about revenge and are they on a path towards happiness or will the need for revenge eat at him?

Instinct is the first book in the Savage Springs MC series. Boy, does it get this series started with a bang! Instinct is a page-turner. With awesome characters and a storyline of twists, steamy romance, intense drama, MC action, and suspense, you will not want to put this book down until you read the last page. It is a little gritty and there are moments of sweetness between Morgan and Rebecca as they are fighting for their love. Morgan has some huge decisions to make. As the leader of the MC, he has to keep his head on straight and in the game. However, he has other things tugging at him. How he handles it all and tries to keep his lady happy, makes for an awesome story. I cannot wait for the next book in the series!

This is a great start to the “Savage Spring MC Series”. I am hooked on these MC bikers. They have gotten such a bad reputation but all bikers gangs are not bad. Some are actually doing good deeds and staying out of trouble.
Morgan is the leader of the Savage Spring MC gang. He has been imprisoned for 5 years for a crime he didn’t do; after being found innocent he is released. Morgan is sentenced to spend a long time in prison for a crime that he didn't commit when 5yrs into his sentence evidence comes to light proving his innocence. The day that he's released his brothers are there with his bike all he wants is vengeance on the person who set him up and to ride after being locked up. Rebecca has moved back home to help care for her mother and she gets a job at the diner which is where she meets Morgan when he goes to his favorite diner after getting out. You really need to read this riveting story to see what happens. I would definitely recommend reading this book.

Morgan has been in prison for 5 years and now because his lawyer finally had proof to absolve him of the crime he is serving time for, he is being released with plans of retribution against the man who put him there. This Carrie's on from the prequel introducing the Savage Springs MC. He meets Becca, but despite becoming settled old debts and grievances run deep and competing with love for Becca, but it is possible eventually only one will win.

I would suggest you read the Morgan prequel first to give insight the character. Morgan went to jail for something he did not do and it took five years to get him released from prison. He knows who set him up and is intent on revenge. He and the MC head to their favorite diner and that is where he meets Rebecca. She is special to him, but will that stop him from going after who set him up? This is the first in a five part series.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is the first of a five book series about Morgan, Rebecca and the Savage Spring MC. There is also a prequel that will explain a few more things. Morgan was framed and sent to jail as a cop killer. He is out now and determined to get vengeance against the one who framed him. He meets Rebecca at the diner and cannot walk away. Their chemistry is going to shake up his plans. This is a short part of their love story.

Interesting start to Morgan and Rebecca's story. He was in prison for a crime he didn't commit and all he has done is plan his revenge. She makes him reconsider that plan to become a better man. I'm definitely intrigued and need to read more. Luckily this whole series is on Kindle Unlimited so with your subscription you can read this story for free and the author Alexis Ashlie has given the reader a compelling story.

This is so dramatic, intense and dark. I love it. Morgan has a heart of gold, but an exterior that's hard as nails and a misguided loyalty meter that's gets screwed up at times.

This is the 1st book in the author's new series Savage Spring MC, there is a prequel story that focuses on Morgan who is the MMC in this book that I definitely recommend reading first, we get to see more of him in this book. I devoured this in one sitting and now I am impatiently waiting for the next one!! Love it!!

Although a very quick read there is a lot of drama and steam. This series has me hooked.
