I went to a conference where Quint was the speaker. We had received a copy of his book for being present. After a few weeks of it sitting on my work desk, I decided to pick it up on a slow day. Overall it’s a great read for healthcare leadership but as a bedside nurse I felt some areas were hard to connect to due to this barrier of not working as a healthcare leader. There were many great points I had taken away though to relate to my everyday role. I especially liked his emotional bank chapters, gratuity notes, and tips on how to speak towards patients.
